The cutlery were something like the dollar store would offer; not plastic but thin and cheap. The $15.00 Caesar salad was the size of a small soup bowl. It was spicy and had a strong tomato base with spicy salami. It's oven baked and came fresh out! The restaurant was quite huge with 3 different sections, one party room and 2 sides for the restaurant.

When we arrived, we were surprised at how nice the set-up of the restaurant was; it was spacious, with enough room for all of us to walk around the table comfortably. There weren't too many guests at the time in which we arrived therefore, it wasn't too loud. Although, there was music playing on the speaker which filled the sound void. We were first given ample time to order from the menus from our server, whose name was Michele. Michele introduced himself, and answered any questions that we had regarding the menu items. He was friendly and knowledgeable, serving us attentively throughout the entire meal. We were first given a basket of bread slices with hot sauce to accompany; I found the hot sauce to be of a small amount, and too spicy for my liking. Afterwards, we were given a dish of calamari, which were very tasty; the dipping sauce was divine! We also had a dish of grilled vegetables with cold cuts and cut-up cheese; this was also a delicious appetizer, as all of the items were well-prepared, and tasty. When it came to the main dishes however, I wasn't too keen on what I had ordered. The first option that I had ordered was the gnocchi with red sauce, as I was sharing this with my daughter. The amount given in the dish was too small, and the gnocchi itself needed more salt. Also, the pasta was chewy, and stuck to the roof of my mouth at times. In terms of the margarita pizza, it was much too thin, and difficult to pick-up. Also, the ingredients slid off easily, making it messy to eat. The taste of the pizza was good though however, I would have liked for it to be thicker for easier eating. The nutella pizza that we had ordered for dessert was delicious, with just the perfect amount of nutella! Overall, the food itself was hit and miss however, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was spot-on.

The young woman provided excellent service. It was late, so the restaurant was largely empty, hence quiet.. We returned last night and, upon walking in, were taken aback by the noise level. Holy cow. The pizza was again quite good, but the service, not so much, The server was friendly, but missing in action. We literally had to ask for a menu, ask for parmesan, ask for the desert menu, ask for the bill; each time waiting to catch his eye before we could ask. Staffing, unfortunately, is a problem.

The homemade squid ink spaghetti only faintly tasted of squid ink and didn't pair that well with the tomato sauce which overwhelmed it. The mussels were not open (sign they aren't fresh) and had sand or pieces of shell in it. Tiger shrimp was a good size and the calamari was tender. It wasn't a hit at the table. The rest of the dishes were much better. I would recommend the pizza or the Vitello Saltimbocca instead. Pizza had great texture and the toppings are creative. Dessert of tiramisu is light and delicious, that was a winners.

We didn't have a reservation but the restaurant was able to seat all of us together in the small restaurant. Our orders consisted of custom made panzerotti's, pasta, and salad. I found the pricing of the toppings to be quite high (about 65 cents per traditional topping). The gourmet toppings were more than 65 cents. I wasn't hungry at the time so I ordered a small caesar salad ($6.50). Overall, I thought the pricing for everything on the menu was quite high for a family run restaurant. Service was a bit slow throughout our stay but the servers were pleasant enough. I found it weird how everyone got their order before I even got my salad. The salad should've been the first thing out since it requires little preparation. Sadly, there was a piece of hair in it which really turned me off. The server was apologetic and said I could get something else but I decided not to. I also noticed the romaine lettuce didn't seem very fresh because they were more yellow than green. I was able to try the panzerotti and I thought it was great. I should've ordered the panzerotti instead. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals and were stuffed. I'm rarely in the area so I doubt I will be returning.

We ended up going to Sinopli's to have a late lunch because I got up to Woodbridge a little late so we didn't eat till after 2pm. He knew of this place from a while ago and a while ago before that even. He used to come to this area for something having to do with soccer but he was telling me how he discovered that Sinopli's used to be a place on St. Clair under a different name way back in the day. He used to go to a place in the city which disappeared and he never saw it again until he went to Sinopli's and discovered this place moved up to Woodbridge and opened up as Sinopli's. The first thing I noticed is that they have a really large far away sort of take out menu on the wall so this place is both a eat in a sit down place. We didn't order anything too heavy even though I was sort of starving. It was my first meal of the day and being well into the early afternoon after waking up before 9am well I was starting to get dizzy. We had each ordered a veal panini and we also ordered a panzorotti with pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. The food eventually came and I was so hungry I could have had 3 sandwiches. The sandwich I ordered with cheese, medium pepper (hotness). The sandwich to me was just alright. It could have had more inside and perhaps I'm just used to how much meat California Sandwiches puts into theirs. Still, this place is not a fast food place and it's much more diverse of a menu. It's more of a real Italian place. The panzo came on one big plate and it was the size of the plate too. I had asked for another plate since we'd be splitting it. This panzo was done just the way I like, FRIED yes fried the real deal here, not that baked stuff but fried dough with plenty of stuffing inside. I had to say I was still hungry when we were done but I think that mostly had to do that this was basically my breakfast, lunch and early dinner all in one. I waited much too long to eat that day so I sort of did it to myself. The portion sizes were basically normal, not huge, not tiny but just decent. The quality was good to above average I'd have to say and the prices weren't out of line for what we received. The service was friendly and the place had a nice ambiance. It's sort of a small place and sort of stand alone in this strip mall.

She asked for fresh Prosecco and two glasses did arrive bubbly as they should. Even though I'm not much of a drinker, I noticed that this establishment does have an interesting cocktail menu. I invited my friend to choose an appetizer and she chose polenta. The portion was very large and more suitable for 5 people than 2. If we had finished it, it would have been a full meal! It was good with the dipping sauce but more on the mediocre side. My friend ordered the baby back ribs which came with a generous salad. She had to ask them to be reheated which they did promptly. She did enjoy them. I tasted the salad which was good but was not impressed with the bread crumb topping. Salad should be salad and healthy without any distractions! I had the salmon which came with chicory but the chicory was so chewy that it was impossible to break it down. I told our pleasant server that I was unable to eat it and she brought me a generous rapini side which was much better. For a newer establishment, they are still ironing out issues and with time, experience, and their positive attitude they will improve their rating. Maybe their pizza and pastas are better.

Food wise it was a mix. The pizza and appetizer were good but sadly our pasta mains were really bad. I would recommend their pizzas as they have a stone pizza oven but the pasta was so sad. I got the Cacio Pepe which was their special that day... and there was basically no pepper, a bit of parm on top and the sauce was super watery. There's also suppose to be guanciale in it but I saw maybe 3 small pieces. I also added chicken to the dish which was cold chunks of chicken breast. I was so sad with my pasta . I don't think all the food is bad but avoid the pasta. They had great drinks. We got a orange rosemary Moscow mule which was delicious. The lock didn't lock properly for me. There is minimal decoration. Nothing to wow about. Old school tablecloth for an Italian eatery. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was chewy and delicious. The portion was good. The side salad had a light vinaigrette, but I felt the portion of it was small. The menu price items were on the higher end compared to other Italian places that I've been to. We arrived shortly after they opened on a recent Friday evening and managed to snag a table near the front. We obviously knew we wanted to try the pinsa, so we opted for the Margherita ("pomodoro, mozzarella, basil") and the Gino Picante ("calabrian nduja, cured hot sausage, pepperonata, fior di latte, sundried tomatoes"). They arrived a short time later and they sure looked tasty. They're presented unsliced and you're given a pair of scissors with each pinsa. They were both delicious. That light and crispy crust was perfect, while the various toppings worked really well together. The whole thing was enhanced really nicely by the table side chili oil. So good.
