Clearly the days of major appliances lasting 30 years are long gone + being able to get local service if needed is now a huge buying factor. We are very pleased with our dealings so far with Willaerts!

About an hour later, we called to request a refund after finding a better option at Costco with free delivery. The store said a full refund was not possible because delivery was already scheduled, but they agreed to refund $50 back to my Mastercard to match Costco's free delivery. Delivery was scheduled for the next day between 8-11am, and we specifically requested a 15-minute call before arrival, which was agreed to. No one called. At 2pm, we were told deliveries were delayed. Around 4:30pm, the delivery driver called yelling, screaming, claiming we didn't open the door--despite never calling ahead. His behavior toward my husband was rude and unprofessional. As of February 6, the promised $50 refund back to my Mastercard was still not issued. When we called the store, the manager was hostile, made false accusations, refused to listen, and hung up. The store manager made statements that were untrue to justify refusing the $50 refund. Very disappointing experience. Poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and unresolved refund. Save yourself the headache and shop at a reputable big-box store instead.

Utterly incompetent Bosch dishwasher repair. Our dishwasher…read morehas an E-24 error code. It took four visits to fix the problem. Each time it was something different. When it was all said and done, the cost was $868.36 to fix the dishwasher. When a technician gives an estimate, one counts on the estimate to decide whether a repair is worth it or not. The first time, the repair was $292.12. OK. The second repair, a few weeks later for the same problem, was $183.96. This required two visits because the technician damaged the seal kit. The third repair, a week after that cost us $292.28. If we had known that the total cost would have been $868.36, we would have made a different decision. Not only that, but Waterloo Appliance Service Ltd. wasn't even decent enough to admit that they had botched the repair.

Not only did they have the part for my 15 year old Bosch Next 500 series washing machine at a…read moredecent price and also double-checked with me that it was correct (drain pump), the amazing repair/parts guy Andrew also walked me through a next-day self-repair of my Bosch machine that was still leaking. I identified it as the door gasket ... he explained over the phone about the actual door *glass* slowly accumulating a build up of calcium over the years and to make sure the glass was smooth all the way around. Sure enough, finger test revealed grit build up on the bottom of the glass breaking the seal enough to allow water to leak from bottom front and along front panel. Two minute fix with a dish pad and all good to go. Friendly, good service, helpful, knowledgeable. Five stars from me.

Not normal according to kitchen aid. about 2 weeks after the install we found water had been leaking down into the basement and when we pulled the fridge out we discoverEd the water line had not been installed properly and had been leaking and ruined the whole side panel of the cupboards in our brand new house. when we approached them with the issue Darcy told is it was our problem because apparently after you have a "professional" install your appliances you are then supposed to pull said appliance out from the wall and make sure it doesn't leak???? A friendly no pressure discussion about the various product lines which they themselves use in their home provided us with the initial feeling of honesty. We briefly checked online for comparable pricing and that was not an issue. The promise of direct contact through them for all of our service needs was also high on our list. There was also a no pressure sales tactic on warranties etc. it was a discussion that allowed us to decide for ourselves with no judgement. The gentlemen that came to install new and take away the old were very polite and demonstrated an educated product knowledge. They gave us whatever time we needed to become familiar with the product and they were in and out in a personable, clean and timely manner. We will recommend this business to our anyone who asks.

I think the Model no. is 29982. I had been watching it on Walmart.ca for a long time and noticed it had fluctuated from about $130 Cdn to I think $100. Unfortunately when I was ready to buy, it wasn't on sale at Walmart. Therefore I did much online research and discovered Elmira Home Comfort Services was in Ontario and had it for about $100 refurbished. It was basically my second time ever buying anything refurbished so I wasn't that surprised when I opened the box and found that the essential components like the paddle, measuring cup and spoon, and something else wasn't included. I promptly let them know and asked them if they could find replacements for me. Amy quickly responded and said that she'd send them out - so I suppose that they weren't included due to some oversight? She was very accomodating with my dislike of UPS and cancelled the order once I told her how I felt about that company and replaced the courier with Canada Post, expedited. I didn't have to pay for the 'missing' items and the extra delivery - which was quite kind. The only other problem was when it had been delivered, the Shop app which she uses to communicate with customers about when they'll receive their orders - said that it had been delivered to a location 5 kms away. This was wrong because I couldn't help myself and investigate whether or not there was a Community/Parcel Mailbox key in my own mailbox - however I found the delivery there and all problems seemed to dissolve. Plus Amy is on vacation at the moment.

We took delivery of the washer and dryer and had a scheduled delivery date for the remaining appliances in December 2025. Ryan asked to reschedule until the new year as he had a cold. We are now in 2026 and despite several follow ups, the management has failed to make an arrangement to deliver the fully paid for appliances or arrange a refund. I can no longer recommend this store.
