This is our local store of the Home Hardware company near where I work. We have been coming here for our hardware supplies since I started working for the firm. Once we had a problem with an existing passage doorway in our office, and the helpful salespeople helped me find the appropriate replacement products, and even located a less expensive item that was on sale that would work in our situation. The staff at the store from the salespeople to the cashiers have always been helpful and honest, and we have appreciated their services. read more

It's much smaller than the big box stores, so I really want to give them by business, but I find their service to be lacking. I've been stared at suspiciously (and creepily) by an employee, and I had another employee treat me like I was an idiot when I asked him for help locating a product. The place looks dirty and most of their shelves are in disarray. The last time I was in there the cashier barely acknowledged me and didn't even reply when I said thanks. Aren't the employees supposed to be nice to the customers? Isn't that what helps keep businesses in business? For now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more
