Utterly incompetent Bosch dishwasher repair. Our dishwasher…read morehas an E-24 error code. It took four visits to fix the problem. Each time it was something different. When it was all said and done, the cost was $868.36 to fix the dishwasher. When a technician gives an estimate, one counts on the estimate to decide whether a repair is worth it or not. The first time, the repair was $292.12. OK. The second repair, a few weeks later for the same problem, was $183.96. This required two visits because the technician damaged the seal kit. The third repair, a week after that cost us $292.28. If we had known that the total cost would have been $868.36, we would have made a different decision. Not only that, but Waterloo Appliance Service Ltd. wasn't even decent enough to admit that they had botched the repair.

Not only did they have the part for my 15 year old Bosch Next 500 series washing machine at a…read moredecent price and also double-checked with me that it was correct (drain pump), the amazing repair/parts guy Andrew also walked me through a next-day self-repair of my Bosch machine that was still leaking. I identified it as the door gasket ... he explained over the phone about the actual door *glass* slowly accumulating a build up of calcium over the years and to make sure the glass was smooth all the way around. Sure enough, finger test revealed grit build up on the bottom of the glass breaking the seal enough to allow water to leak from bottom front and along front panel. Two minute fix with a dish pad and all good to go. Friendly, good service, helpful, knowledgeable. Five stars from me.

Days later, I got a cold, robotic email telling me it wouldn't ship until the week of August 11 --the kind of company that takes your money and then tells you to wait for two months for a kettle! I told them outright their service was unacceptable and that I'd never shop with them again. They didn't bother to respond. Weeks of silence later, the kettle finally showed up on August 7 -- a few days earlier than " the week of AUG 11", as if I should be grateful for their "generosity." Absolutely laughable. If this is how they handle a small item, imagine the disaster if you trusted them with a major appliance purchases. Unprofessional, unresponsive, and utterly indifferent to customers. Stay far away. Prior to this LP (Local Pro) coming to our home, it was made clear the service we expected and wanted. A new dryer coil was to installed, as it was made clear there had been condensation issues with the old coil and with a new dryer coming we wanted the new coil. LP lifted the coil glanced inside and said it was fine. I said we wanted the new coil again was told it was fine. There was no diagnostic check done by LP after installation. Later that day when we went to use the dryer it gave off 90% blockage error. I reached out to LP and informed them of the issue. LP reply was as follows: Because it was a vent issue and not an installation issue. And proceeded to inform me of the cost to have him come back out. I mentioned to LP if the new coil was installed as we wanted this would of been avoided. Since we where already financially invested in this service we decided to have them come out again. Today I went down to do laundry I could feel a lot of heat coming from the dryer and blowing from the back. Come to find the coil was not connected properly to the dryer and was dangling. I reached out to LP and Informed them of the issue along with a video showing it was not connected. Yes LP offered to come out at no fee to correct. However at this point, I decided no more.

I needed a new dishwasher and called CAS to go over options and got Harmeet Singh who answered my questions and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I moved forward with a purchase, including delivery, setup, and extended warranty. I chose a delivery date based on my availability with work and to coincide with some electrical work I needed to have done between the time the dishwasher arrived and the install team arrived. The work was recommended (helpful!) and I even purchased an additional component needed to complete it. The window I got was a fairly large 7am-12pm window. Great. The night before, I get a note the delivery was scheduled outside the window, with no one home, and outside of the availability of the electrician booked. I replied immediately and was given a "too bad, the time you get is what you get, take it or leave it response". I decided to leave it. The following day, nothing from Harmeet. Zero acknowledgement or responsibility assumed. If this is the first interaction post-sale you have with a company, why would you assume anything else will go smoothly? What's even more telling is CAS sends you a "hey please review us" once they have your money but before delivery/install occurs. If you made a reservation for 7pm at a restaurant and you turned up and they told you the reservation is now 8:30pm, just because, you'd probably find somewhere else to have dinner.
