Well let me update you guys, the "team" basically blamed me for the eyelashes falling. Saying "You had the technician make adjustments" YES, I DID! Prior to me laying down, I mentioned I wanted natural looking lashes, she proceeded with thick "Doll" lashes. I am paying $135 for these babies, of course I'm going to have her change them then to have them fall?! Pff! No refund was given, just blame. Proceed with caution

Unfortunately, I had an uncomfortable experience with another employee, Alexis. She began speaking about another coworker while I was receiving my service, so I politely asked her to please stop talking because all I wanted was to relax and have a peaceful experience. She later approached me a second time while I have chemicals on my eyes and I again told her that I did not want to talk. I did not feel comfortable hearing the conversations and wanted no altercation. I simply wanted to relax and enjoy my service. I did let the owner know about my experience. I am now being asked to remove Alexis's photo from my Yelp and Google reviews. I understand that the business may want to address the situation and improve its protocols, but this experience did happen to me on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. I am sharing my honest, firsthand experience as a customer. My intention is not to attack anyone, but simply to document what happened and hopefully prevent another customer from having a similar experience.

I tried 3X before (circa 2019 - 2023) getting lash extensions at different places and every time my…read moreeyes got irritated, swollen and puffy. Every time I had to go back the next day or 2 to get them removed. My friends say nowadays there's better options, technique and sensitive glue available. I found sumi and saw their new client promo price ($55 for a regular full set) and decided to try them since it would be a low price risk in case I have a reaction. There was some confusion over the new promo price with the first girl telling me after my first set it would be $95, then my tech telling me that for what I wanted today it would be $95. She was able to explain and clarify the promo so today's set was $65 because the 2 tip hairs was +$10. Great. I knew I wanted a very natural, light feel with adding just a bit of volume as my lash line is light and cannot hold much (also having sensitivity). I learned from experience. My tech showed me the lengths and it was go time. I knew how simple of a style and shape I wanted based on how I wear my strip lashes. The best part of my experience is that she only took about 35 minutes to apply my extensions, that's what I'm talking about! I know my set is not as dramatic or voluminous but it came out really great and so far they feel comfortable. I really hope they last and don't give me problems the next days ahead. Regular (signature sumi) full set: 2 tips, natural C curve, 9-11 mm, cute style I hope they do well so I can come back for a fill in the next few weeks. What would be nice, especially for those who are on the table for 1 hour(s)+ are either rolled blanket or towels /pillows for under the knees while laying down. It helps with comfort.

Price: I initially wanted to get gel x mani and a gel pedi but once I confirmed prices over the phone I decided it was a bit too much. I was told that there is a $17 additional fee for any service if you decide on getting gel polish. You can buy a gel nail polish for that price or even less. I asked if I bring my own polish if they would charge the same and unfortunately they will still charge the same since it's a "service" of them putting on the polish. Bottom line, it's not their fault, majority of nail salons are inflating prices nowadays and it's of course due to the "service" or the "product" so yea just go along with it and no one will get hurt. Service: The girl that helped me was very nice and helpful, I was initially going to get a French tip pedi but she advised to just get the milky white I was thinking about since my nails were already pretty short. She did a beautiful job and I appreciate her honesty and not pushing me to get the French tip. I've worked with people who will push you to get something just bc they see dollar signs but she was truthful and genuinely looking out for my nails by even advising me to just let them grow. Okay the drink part, I saw on yelp they give complimentary drinks like iced coffee and matcha and was hoping I would be offered that but no one said anything so I figured maybe they only did that temporarily. I know you're probably like ok girl just get a drink somewhere else but no! I don't see too many places offering viet iced coffee while you're getting your nails done and that was a big part in my decision making process when deciding where to spend my money. I could've gone anywhere else, there was a salon down the street from me in LB but this place stood out to me. Anyway, I asked for a water bc I was parched but nothing else was offered to me. As I'm almost finished, I over hear another nail tech offer some ladies complimentary drinks and then I see a lady sitting across from me with a glass of champagne. I was confused bc I thought maybe you need to have a certain service to access that amenity. I asked the receptionist as I was checking out about that and she said "oh your nail tech is supposed to offer"...and then looks at me like I'm being annoying like..ok I'm just trying to get clarification. I am not trying to be problematic I was genuinely just wondering about it, she made me feel like a Karen for wondering and asking about that. I would've appreciated her responding more kindly and letting me know ok well next time we can offer you something or idk just not being weird about it like it seemed like they don't care about customer retention.

Normally, I feel like I need a fill around the 2-week mark, but this time I probably could have waited until the 3-week mark. I personally like my lashes a little fuller, so I decided to come in for my second fill today. What I loved even more was that I somehow got the same lash artist who did my lashes the first time, which was amazing! She remembered the style I had gotten before, and she did such a beautiful job again. She is so gentle and sweet that I literally fell asleep multiple times during my appointment because I was so relaxed. The glue doesn't burn or irritate my eyes either, which is a huge plus for me. The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and comfortable, and I really appreciate the little details. One thing that stood out to me is that my lash artist always lets me know that she's going to wash her hands before starting. It may seem like a small thing, but it makes me feel safe and reassured that everything is sanitary. And I have to mention the free goodies they give every single time! It really is the little things that make a difference and make you feel appreciated as a customer. My lashes look amazing, they last a long time, and the whole experience has been wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful lashes, good retention, cleanliness, and a relaxing experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

AVOID THIS PLACE! I…read morefrequently get my lashes done by other businesses and I have never experienced something like this. I called asking for a walk-in appointment (thankful they took me in) and asked for manga style lashes. They didn't know what it was (most popular lash style these days) but I just decided to try anyways since it was local. So I walk in, pick my lash style, and lay down on the bed. First of all, they don't wear any standard clothes, the lash tech was wearing see-through loungewear. The places I go to usually wear scrubs or something clean. I lay down on the bed, no casual conversation, just seemed like she wanted to finish quickly. The lady proceeds to put the eye mask to tape down my lower lashes, but she did it too close to my eye and now I've had an irritated right eye for 2 days. The worst part of this was hygiene. Even while wearing a mask, her bad breath was seeping through it. If you're gonna be that close to someone's face for a period of time, you have to have good breath. But no, this lady was breathing out her hot stinky breath onto my face and I got pink eye. Maybe I should've told her to brush her teeth or chew gum but I didn't want to be rude. Another mention, the lady was actively burping in my face, and for her loud burps she would move her body a little but still burped extremely inappropriately. I felt like a fish out of water trying to breath every time she moved away. I heard some cutting sounds and tugging at my natural lashes, and couldn't help but fear that she was cutting my natural lashes. I asked her, "what is that cutting sound" but she denied and said if needed, she only cuts one or two lashes. I heard the cutting sound at least 7 times. All being said, I will never come back here. Hygiene and service are both terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here unless you want to get pink irritated eyes and lashes that don't last. It's been two days and they're already falling apart.
