Long story short, Erin is simply the best! So like most 80's babies, I over plucked/waxed/threaded the heck out of my brows for years until they were thin, odd shaped brows. Once I hit my late 20s I decided enough was enough and it was time to go back to some healthy, thick brows. After waiting what seemed like an eternity to let them grow out I decided I need a fantastic brow place. Lo and behold yelp sent me to the Eyebrow Parlour. Setting up an appointment was simple and painless. Just texted the number (seen in the info here on yelp) and Erin quickly responded. I learned SOOOO MUCH on my first visit with Erin. First off I learned that eye brows are sisters not twins and that they will look slightly different. She talked me through the type of shape I wanted and how it would be done in relationship to my nose, eyes, etc so that my eyebrows would shape my face perfectly. I was a little nervous since it had been years since I had waxed (mostly threaded), but Erin waxes as painless as waxing can get (is that an oxymoron?). Also, her tweezing skills are out of this world! I've never had someone tweeze my eyebrows so lightly ever. After that, she taught me how to enhance my brows with a little pencil, powder, and highlighter that still looked natural (just how I like it). I bought one of the pencils (my go to eyebrow tool now) and quickly booked my next appointment. I have been going to Erin for a few years now and she has truly been the best for my brows. She works with the patchiness of my brows and keeps up a fantastic, full shape. She even understands that I can't come in as often due to my work schedule. Before I met Erin I was constantly disappointed with how my eyebrows would be done. They would be different from right to left and getting thinner. After years and years of over tweezing my brows, I was left with sparse, thin eyebrows that were spaced too far apart and didn't frame my face at all. When it finally came to trying to grow out my brows and correct the damage I had done, I had a hard time finding someone that appreciated the art of a beautiful brow. Erin was worth the 1hr drive! I have never had anyone else touch my brows before and after loads of research, I'm so glad I found Erin at The Parlour. She was super sweet, explained everything that she was doing and was very gentle. She used the Anastasia method by outlining my brows and using stencils.
