We were not impressed at all! Don't waste your money unless you just wanna drink and watch sports!

Seems like every other time I come here it's horrible service. Always good food but the service is awful. Got a table right away tonight sat there for 15-20 minutes and no one came over to take a drink order or welcome us or anything. Watched the server help the two tables next to us. We walked out. Makes it really hard to go get a good burger here when the service is sub par. read more

Waitresses seemed to avoid our table after knowing that one of us was disappointed with the service. Two waitresses then served a large party next to us continuing to avoid us and our 4 hungry children. We arrived around 530 pm and were not served for an hour. Salad and kids food came at the same time as the rest of the meal even after waitress asked if we would like it before the meal as we replied, yes. The manager found out we were upset so he then attempted to assist the waitress by getting us refills on our drinks. There were no apologies or discounts offered or excuses for why our food was so late. We then asked to speak to manager. He was less than cordial and very sarcastic in our conversation as he discussed the situation defending the waitress as she was standing in on the conversation. Very unprofessional. High quality food, honestly. I'm with two female friends and they both explicitly claimed our waiter was cute. I do enjoy the environment there are a multitude of TVs playing the twins game, however, we got to sit outside on swings attached to a table which is lit. The tater tots were horrid sadly. To me this place is just okay. Food, mostly burgers, are pretty dang good and their potato fries with sauce is outstanding. They also have a great beer selection. Reason behind the three star rating: this is a sports bar atmosphere, where guys love to go...where are your lady servers? Seems like there are too many guys running around taking orders and bringing out drinks. They also have a great selection of sports on the tube as well as TVs. An occasional stop is all. read more

I liked this place. It has typical pub fare with a pretty nice tap selection. They have 10-15 different wing sauces, and the lettuce wraps hit the spot. The food isn't gourmet, but that's not why people go to a tap house. They go for good drinks, great atmosphere, and good grub; that's exactly what the friendly staff here supplies. read more

Not bad! Huge selection of tap beers for me(I could hardly decide!), my girlfriend was happy with her long island and martini. The food was pretty good too! Nice, crispy fries. Went here for lunch while visiting family. I was actually impressed. One of the best burgers I've ever had! The restaurant also has kitchen equipment dedicated to gluten free (which is rare to find). I wasn't aware of it when we sat down...the restaurant should play this up more. It's definitely a feature. Staff was friendly and service was great! read more

Love, love, love this place! The staff is fun and friendly. The food is pretty good. The burgers are their best entree. Have also had the fish tacos but I wasn't terribly impressed. I do believe though that this place has the best fried pickles I have ever eaten. Table turnaround time is sloowww 3 families waiting with 5 open booths. Good music and good atmosphere, but the waiting seemed a little unnecessary, especially with 4-5 servers standing at the host booth at a time with dirty tables.. read more

Excellent service from Kelly behind the bar. Knows her craft beers and made thoughtful recommendations about the beer and the food. Some drink slingers can come off as a little pushy or know-it-all in terms of craft brews, she was the opposite. All bartenders should follow her lead. Only 4 stars as the spicy garlic wings were more drummies than wings and a few were overdone. But service was great. read more

Great beer selection, good burgers, and a surprisingly great cuban sandwich. The fries, however, are not good and have been cold every time I've eaten here. No where else id tlrather eat when I'm in St. Cloud. Granted, I don't live here and am usually here on business or headed somewhere else, so I'm looking for someplace casual, relaxed, and reliable. The Tap House is all that and more. I can always find a beer I've never tried but one I'll surely enjoy. (Not Surly enjoy, please! But surely enjoy.) And neither the God of the service has ever disappointed. Not the fish tacos, not any of the many burgers I've tried, and not the Tuna Wrap Appetizer- my new favorite meal! The place is remarkably clean, and the staff is alwaus friendly and helpful. I'm not usually eager to spend time in a sports bar. There are more than enough TVs here, but there are surprisingly nonobtrusive. Enjoy a game if you want, or ignore it and have a good conversation while you enjoy a new beer and a great burger. It's your call. Same folks own and operate 7West downtown. Same beer selection, good burgers and tacos there to, if you need something a bit faster, but just as great a place. read more

They were out of the beer I ordered off the beer menu. Waiter told us the bartender didn't know what a Mai Tai was - they eventually figured it out. Food arrived in a timely manner. Hamburger lacked seasoning, I can't remember the last time I had to add salt and pepper to a restaurant burger. Waiter seemed new but was friendly and seemed to be trying hard. I have eaten here several times, and the servers have been exceptional. The food is tasty; I particularly enjoy the selection of craft beers, especially the unique and flavorful. I went to Boulder Tap House with a friend for dinner and drinks. The craft beers on tap were unique, and provided a nice opportunity to try some different beers. The one-star rating is primarily due to the service. Although we made it clear to our waitress that we were in no hurry (and again this was dinner and not lunch); however, she continued to return to the table repetitively after brief periods of time to get our drink order, get our food order, and ask if we were all done. It left the distinct impression that she just wanted us gone. This was in addition to her demeanor which was less than friendly. To top things off, my friend, who is a vegetarian, was served a real burger when he had ordered a black bean burger. He did not realize this until he had taken a bite out of it. When the waitress was informed of this, she gave a half-hearted "sorry", and offered absolutely no money off of the bill or free side or dessert. After a period of time, she brought a new burger. At the end of the meal when she asked if we wanted desert, we asked if it would be on the house due to the burger mishap, and she bluntly said "no. Worst customer service ever. read more

Stopped in today for our first visit just to grab an appetizer and a good beer on a wet and cold day. First impressions were friendly staff and all was very clean. Lots of tv's playing many different types of sports which was a nice change of pace as im not a huge football fan. Menu in my opinion had many choices depending on what you were in the mood for. We had 12 boneless wings and a small order of chili fries. All was very good, hot and came quicker than expected! Beer selection was also very good for the area, lots of craft and domestic beers on tap and in bottles to choose from. Over all a very nice first visit that left us with a good hometown hang out feel, we will definitely be back to try a full meal sometime. read more
