So much fun here!! A friend and I decided to go out and we chose this place. Now, I parked out front where someone was leaving. There wasn't to many spaces outfront, but come to find out there was parking in the back Walk up to the bartender to order food and drank. They estimate their pours here lol... Yassss! Music was from the 90s and old school RnB from the 80s. I had a ballllllll read more

Best fried fish in town -depending on who cooked it. It's the worst feeling when you've been craving something and once you finally get it -- it doesn't satisfy your craving. Most of the time fish is a hit. But every now and then ( last night) to be precise, my fish was over cooked. I had to bite and pull with my teeth. By the time I started eating and realized it was overcooked, the kitchen was closed. The drinks don't always taste like what you asked for but they are strong if that's what you like. They have a police officer at the door most nights, which makes it feel a bit safer. It's definitely a cheers type of bar, everyone knows everyone. Music is old school for the most part, but they have a jukebox so the music can be adjusted. It's a nice hole in the wall. The bathroom really sucks. You have to dam near turn sideways and use the stall with the door opened. That's the one thing I hate about this spot. Seems like they tried to turn one unisex bathroom into 2 stalls. I'm pretty sure the men's room looks the same. read more

This is my FAVORITE bar in pg. I live in the neighborhood and there aren't too many bars that you can enjoy yourself while feeling "at home". The owner and bartenders are very friendly and helpful with drink recommendations. The fried chicken is so delicious AND THE DRINKS ARE REASONABLE. read more

Ashton is the best bartender here! Food and drinks are always exceptional. Catfish, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and wings are some of my favorites read more

i enjoy coming here. i ride 40 miles to do so. Their food is ALWAYS on point and most of the bartenders are cool. I only wish it was easier to get a seat at the bar though. If it was, id come a lot more often... read more

Another one of those neighborhood bars where everyone seems to know each other and they're super friendly. It's a bit far from home, but I met up with a friend who had business in the area. One half of the place is the bar and several tables, while the other is more tables and a dance floor. A DJ was playing some old school jams on that side. When I ran to the bathroom, I passed by a table that had a big tub full of decks of cards. There was indeed a table of people playing card games, but I just assumed they brought their own. I've been to bars with pool tables and darts... but countless decks of cards, heck yeah! Admittedly though, the crowd made me feel like I was way too young for the place. It was definitely mostly folks in their 40s and up. I didn't get any food... there's not too much to choose from, but I get the feeling it tastes very good. I'll be trying food next time, along with figuring out what their schedule is... do they have a DJ every night? Is there ever karaoke? Live bands? Time well tell, but for now let me tell you about their drinks: GOOD STUFF! I got a rum & pineapple juice and tried a double deuce shot, which is vodka mixed with some other things. First impressions of the place were great, I will definitely return when i'm in the area. Oh, and IT'S BLACK-OWNED, YAY! read more

The Bottom Line - What's a double deuce shot? Vodka and things. - Bars Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

You want old school to feel like home, good drinks and food. Then this is the place. Been going here for 20 years now.

Hidden gem! Stopped by for a quick drink on a Tuesday. Drinks were strong (served in red solo cups) and the atmosphere was good. Oldies music from a jukebox was played. Sign on the door said that patrons had to be 25+. read more

I love the food and the atmosphere. On any given day you can walk in on a few card games, hand dancing and karaoke. The patrons and staff treat you like a cousin they haven't seen in years. Pull up a chair be respectful and enjoy ANY of the items on the menu. They have some of THE BEST cooks and the bartenders all know how to pour a good drink. Destress, relax listen to some good music, eat and be happy. read more

The Bottom Line - Fried fish and okra.. soooo good I drive 45 minutes for it - Bars Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

This place was a nice little spot to hang out and grab a drink, listen to some good music and dance a little. Its not a fancy place but its a decent place to kickback without a cover charge. I ordered one drink and that was enough. I guess I was having a bad day because all of my drinks I had today were too strong. You really can't enjoy your drink if it taste like pure alcohol. Outside of that the music was great and the people were friendly. It's a local spot and it seems like everyone knew each other. I would come back because the music was really good but I think I will stick to wine the next time. read more

Looking for a quaint bar atmosphere with great music, a dance floor and good food? I would suggest The Bottom Line. I think this place hands down have some of the best fried chicken and drink prices. Each week they do karaoke and sometime you can catch a live band playing there. Always accommodating and friendly staff to assist you. If you're in Clinton Maryland, I would recommend you stop by this establishment. read more

Great hand dancing on Tuesdays!!! And if you're missing a bit of southern fried goodness then they have all there for you!!!

Cool neighborhood bar! Strong drinks that are inexpensive. Great wings fries okra etc. the vibe here is "old school" so expect a 45+ crowd. No one bothers you.. just come and chill. I enjoyed it and will be back read more

Talk about a good time! Tasty food, heavy handed bartenders and great Saturday night entertainment! Two bands play every Saturday starting around 11:30 and put on a really good show, if you like gogo music (which I love!) The staff is very friendly too. Definitely not the fanciest place around, but a good spot to go to party with a more mature crowd. I did not think it was special enough to get dressed up for, but there were a mixture of casual and dressed up folks. Most people there seemed 25+...may have been some younger ones sprinkled throughout. Definitely have to be 21 to get in though since they card at the door. There is a cover to get in after a certain time, not sure what that is though. My guess it is either $10 or $20 since there is live music. We got there around 9:30 and it had not started yet. Give it a try! I promise you will have fun! If you go to Wow Wingery, Marygolds, Takoma Station or Le'Fontaine Blue you will enjoy yourself at The Bottom Line Bar. read more

This place is a prime example that you should never judge a book by it's cover. On the outside, it appears as divey as they come: it looks like it should be a store more than a bar/lounge. But once you walk through the door, you become instantly immersed with an atmosphere of laughter, good music, great smelling food, and a realyl chill vibe that could make even an out-of-towner feel like a regular. The place is definitely geared towards the 'grown and sexy' from what I could tell, but if you're a young buck with an old soul (like myself, lol) then you'll fit right in. The highlights of this particular location are the food, the AMAZINGLY talented karaoke participants (there were a couple of times where I would forget that these were 'regular' people singing live because it sounded so good) and the very hospitable and family vibe. The bartenders are very easy going and heavy handed, and while the prices for a few things would absolutely differ from a venue in DC, it works for the environment you get along with it. I would recommend having a birthday party here if you want a place to just relax, drink, eat, and associate like you did "back in the day". I'll definitely be returning in the future, for a pitcher of beer and some of that bombbbb food! read more

Went there on a Saturday night to watch the Redskins vs. Philly game. Got there around 8:15pm and the crowd was a little older (maybe 45-60). The bar area was full and the second area near the DJ was empty. During the half time, the Dj started playing music and everyone started making their way over to the dance floor. There was only one bartender there on a Saturday night. Ordered a Long Island and it was amazing, after one I had a buzz and only spent $7.63. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that it's a little outdated and the bathrooms had a odor every time someone opened the door. Kind of hard to focus on the game, when our table was right next to the bathroom. read more

Bartenders are awesome but if you're white expect racism. DJ wouldn't play my request even though it was George Clinton and a customer told me to go back to my farm. Unless you're black don't go there. read more

No frills corner bar with strong drinks and decent bar bites. The menu is small and limited but there's never a Shortage of entertainment. I went on a Tuesday and they had a DJ and were doing hand dancing something I've always wanted to learn. I miss this Place being open. The beautiful bartenders are the best. Customer Service is Outstanding. But.. the DJ... DJ FRESH, he is the worst!! To be on that type of profession and to display the type of attitude and disposition that he does towards others, is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! He had no reason to act the way in which he does, it's RIDICULOUS!! read more

I love this spot. It's a smallish spot, no pretense. I've been a few times and I always have a good time. The bartenders are good and they pour real nice drinks. The chicken wings have become my favorite thing in the world. And I love sliding through and seeing folks playing cards or hand dancing and just having a good time. Slightly older crowd - which works perfectly for me - but if you're looking for the youngin's they're not here. Friendly crowd and just an easy going vibe.
