I wasn't really sure what to expect at The Boro, but just know that it is a tiny walk up ordering counter with no inside seating. I was looking for a place to get some work done, but that's okay. The Boro is attached to the Dixboro House, which is a sit down restaurant. The Boro counter sells coffee drinks, pastries, to-go drinks, pizzas, and a few entree items. They have a lot of outdoor space for picnics. I was a little flustered because there was a small line forming and basically zero space to wait for your order. I got an iced latte and a spiral croissant, and kind of wedged myself into a corner to try to wait. As I was leaving, the line was stretching out the door - I'd highly recommend placing an order online for pickup! I got a picnic table all to myself and enjoyed the sounds of birds while I ate my croissant (delicious, although a little tougher than I was expecting) and enjoyed my latte (very creamy and smooth). Even though the experience wasn't what I was expecting, I still enjoyed myself. A great spot for nice weather days!

Usually here for their brown sugar latte, but my new favorite here is their cereal milk latte!

Came back to try one of the fall drinks- 10/10! Not too sweet and the pumpkin foam was perfect- my only complaint would be that I needed to have a little bit more of it!

I think going to Dixboro for my birthday is going to be my new tradition! The staff took such great care of me and even went as far as to get me a welcome toast. I like that their menu is seasonal and changes every few months. The menu from when I first went is different from this last time, and it made the experience so much more exciting and enjoyable. I also feel like I can look forward to coming back and seeing if the same menu items are there because they're so tasty. The Grilled Octopus was to die for. Classy and delicious at the same time!

Drove by the DP all the time and finally decided to make reservations for brunch. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and a bit breathtaking. We were seated in the room, farthest to the main entrance, and could see the lake from our table. Service from the moment we walked in, till we walked out, was outstanding. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, duck hash, side of fruit and cappuccinos. Everything was delicious but the dish that blew me away was the duck hash. It was like an explosion of flavors! Can't wait to go back to try other dishes. This is a great place for brunch and date nights!

I LOVE the aesthetic and rustic vibe of this place. The Dixboro Project really did amazing job restoring the century-old barn while keeping certain elements from the original structure, such as the exposed 140-year-old timbers, gambrel vaulted ceiling, and original stone fireplace. The menu is simple but tasteful. The wood-fired pizzas and bakery items are SO delicious, you'll want to take some to-go for the next day! They feature Roos Roast coffee and make yummy adult beverages at their bar too. They also have The Boro, a side door all-day cafe for takeout.

My new favorite place in Ann Arbor The margarita pizza was 5/5 and the chili oil was so good with it. The mushroom sandwich was so flavorful 5/5. Cold Brew was strong and woke me up lickety-split 5/5 forgot to ask which coffee they use. The Boro-eo cookie was delicious. Service 5/5 everyone just seems genuinely happy working there. Really made you feel welcomed. Ambiance 5/5 near a creek and plenty of trees surrounding. The layout is very nicely spaced. The table to table spacing is on point. I love this place :)

The service was excellent, the food tasted great, but the prices were a bit steep. My side salad was $17 we especially enjoyed the peach cobbler dessert.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally got around to it. They have a large deck with umbrellas and heaters plus a more remote area with picnic tables. We ordered coffee and pastries at the small area with the To Go sign. There's only room for about 3 people in this area so they offered to bring my latte to my car if I was parked in a numbered parking spot along the building or they would give me a number and I could wait at a table on the deck. We got an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant and they were both very good and HUGE. It was a bit slow for us to get our drinks (a latte and a hot chocolate) but they do use Roos Roast coffee in their cafe drinks so they were good. Others in our party got a margarita pizza that was a bit slow to arrive but looked and smelled great. They have an accessible ramp near the handicapped parking space. Unfortunately, they have a hay bale and pumpkins blocking the last part of the ramp so it really isn't accessible to people using walkers and wheel chairs.

Chili oil that comes with mushroom pizza

This is my favorite pizza place! I've been hooked on their mushroom pizza ever since the first bite. I love the thin, slightly charred crust, slightly sweet cheese and cream sauce, and savory mushroom and mushroom topping. This pizza also comes with chili oil on the side to sprinkle over your slice and give it a little kick! I didn't realize this till after a few visits, but there are actually three 'restaurants' in this location. The Dixboro Project is specifically for their tasting menu, the Boro is a little more casual, you can order things like pizza, steak, pasta, etc., and there's a pick up spot where you can quickly pick up delicious pastries (made by a Michelin star chef!), coffee drinks, and takeout orders. You can't go wrong with any of their pastries. My favorite is the nutter butter sandwich and almond croissant. Their drinks are also fantastic. During my last visit, I ordered the grapefruit spritz mock tail which was delicious and refreshing! The location is so gorgeous. It feels like a green retreat space outside the hustle bustle of Ann Arbor. The patio is beautiful and overlooking hammocks and a small dock next to a stream behind the building. I appreciated the picnic tables strewn around for those who want to eat their pastries or takeout outside in a quieter location and don't necessarily need service. Love this place. Will be back and bringing friends/family!

My girlfriend doesn't even like pizza. She LOVED Joes. The interior feels like they took the NY location and turned it to a warm break spot for those freezing their a** off and wanted something hot, homemade and FRESH out of the oven. Celebrities like Dua Lipa, 50 Cent, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Etc. EVERYONE LOVES JOES. Question is, and the most important of them all; does Dave like Joe? I don't know we had beef in kindergarten, let's see if I've finally stiffened up to him. I'm happy to say, a plain cheese pizza with basil does the trick beautifully. Delicious, foldable even though it doesn't flop. The sauce is easy to digest and so is the crust; I ate 5 huge slices and didn't feel a thing, it's so light and sweet. But it's crunchy! I got well done so I knew there wouldn't be any flop jalop. Perfection. Cheese was outstanding, crust showed the beauty in simplicity, the sauce was quite good but still a little too bland. I really wish the sauce POPPED. Another negative factor about this place is that it is DIRTY. Dirty to the honest cashier- Dirty to the floor. But it's okay, I know that the pizza comes out of a 500 degree oven. Any bacteria that might be on my pizza get burned and killed. Such a BEAUTIFUL pie. Loved it. (4/5)

After looking at different caterers, we chose Pizza Replicator to cater the party of 85. We were having trouble working with the venue to allow the caterer to find a place to cook the pizzas. Max contacted the venue and worked out all the details. On the day of the event, he and his staff arrived promptly and started with the appetizers which were outstanding. Once he transitioned to pizza, the pizzas were continuously replaced until everyone had eaten. Everyone raved about the food. We couldn't be happier about hiring Max and his team and couldn't recommend him enough.

In New York, slices are for folding and eating while on the go, because... well... I guess that's what capitalism does to you. Pizza Replicator is replicating none of these pizzas. Nope. It's just a Star Trek TNG inspired pizza concept where Max Sussman gets to have a little bit of fun with seasonal ingredients, dough, and some portable pizza ovens. Personally, I love to support pizza innovation. Max's pizza is about as good as it can be considering it's cooked up in the back of a coffee shop on any given Sunday. More than anything, I want Max to get a permanent home here in A2 with a legit Neapolitan oven where he can really get some better color on the bottoms of those pies. I've had a few of these so far. Italian sausage with pepperoncini, provolone, and broccoli rabe. Brussels and guanciale with aged gouda, fresh mozzarella, and garlic. Soujouk and Za'atar with onion and green zhug. Asparagus and gruyere with meyer lemon, caramelized onion, and pine nuts. Spanish Chorizo, manchego, roasted peppers. My favorite one to date was the meyer lemon. Dang, that was deliciously unexpected! But those crispy nuggets of guanciale were dynamite too! Ultimately, these are designed to be take out pies, and I'm just not a take out pizza kinda guy. Because I believe pizza is best when it's fresh hot now, I grab my pie, b-line to my parked car, and eat the pizza in the driver's seat like a savage beast. Even when I have shown up early for my scheduled pizza pick up, I have had little luck in getting super hot pies with crisp edges and well colored bottoms. Recently I learned that one can request the pizza "well done" and I am looking forward to giving that a try. But I love the culinary creativity and I am happy to keep trying Max's new pies when my Sunday schedule lines up with available pizza slots. One has to keep an eye on the Pizza Replicator Instagram page and move quickly, because these things sell out. I have gotten over my FOMO, and am happy to simply sample these pizzas when the stars align. Which, you know, is why I'm comfortable to share this with the Yelp Community. Max's efforts are hardly a secret as they were just recently covered in the food press. But yet there is no listing on Yelp?
