That's where Coach Josiah made all the difference. From the very beginning, he took the time to get to know me on a personal level before ever introducing his program. That stood out immediately. Our communication was consistent and meaningful, and that accountability was exactly what I needed. I was able to be open about injuries and limitations, and instead of letting those hold me back, he guided me through them with a plan that kept me progressing safely and effectively. Because of Josiah's coaching, I am now at the lowest weight I've been since I was a young teenager. I found Ryan Gallegos a couple years ago and trained with him at Lifetime, he was awesome, then he left. Over the course of the past year I've dealt with a couple health issues. So I now want to get back into shape and reached out to Ryan. I met him at Physiq Fitness where he has been training now for over a year. First, I'm so happy to back with Ryan as he is well educated in fitness and knows what he's doing. I'm also amazed at this wonderful gym!!!! It's big and well equipped with every type of machine or weight. There's also an indoor pickleball court!!!! Membership is extremely reasonable and you can always get on the machines. If you want a gym that provides and EXCELLENT workout, without the hype and expense of Liftime or the humdrum of Planet Fitness, and not jammed like EOS, then this is the gym for you. I love that you get to try it out before paying and today was the end of my week of free training and I asked to sign up. The gym had the kindest ppl I have EVER met in a gym and even though I go to an easy class I still feel pumped and excited to get in there. I'm excited to see how my fitness goals go! After I was done I asked how I can use it. Someone was in there. Ok, can I sign up for after they're finished? Well they have 5 min left and it's a full time so it'll be another 20 minutes. It made no sense. I asked a few more times to no avail. I guess you're supposed to keep going up to the desk every few minutes to see if it's free and hope no one beats you to it in the meantime. I think it's a crock of crap because my sister said they have a sign up at her gym. I don't know if this butthead doesn't know what he's doing or was trying to save it for a friend. There are no signs that tell you what to do. I don't think I'll be coming to this location anymore. I'm still so p*asked about it!

We…read morehad a slight issue but because of Shad Andreas (the new personal training manager) top-notch customer service skills, fast thinking and his constant communication with me, he came through with flying colors and I was totally satisfied and happy with the outcome. Shad worked hard to make things right and it showed, very much appreciated. What a fantastic decision to transfer him to this facility in Gilbert to "fix" things, he definitely is in the right spot and will go far. During my dealings with Shad last week, I dealt with numerous others that definitely deserve recognition for their patience, helpfulness and just being kind over the phone. Chase was the one answering the phone and wanting to help, good listener and never just transferred me to get me off his line, he truly wanted to make sure I got to the right person. Andrew, the assistant manager is also in the right position, he truly is there to serve MountainSide's customers. Last but not least is Chandler the manager, talk about making things happen for the good of the customers and the follow up is amazing, something you don't find anymore. One morning I was taking my 2-year-old to the Kid Zone when he urgently needed to use the restroom. We were clearly in a rush, but the front desk employee stopped me and insisted I scan a QR code before letting us pass. The interaction felt unnecessarily strict and passive-aggressive. If I didn't have a membership, I wouldn't even be able to use the Kid Zone, so the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding given that I was trying to help my child get to the restroom. What made the experience worse was the tone. It felt like a scene was made in front of my child over something that could have been handled calmly and quickly. For a gym that charges close to $50 a month, I would expect a higher level of customer service and basic courtesy. I spoke with someone at the register afterward and was told the manager would be informed, but it has been over two weeks and I haven't received any follow-up or apology. Between that experience and the already high membership price (especially considering the sauna often smells unpleasant), I decided to cancel my membership. I'm very disappointed and will be going to a different gym moving forward. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location based on my experience.
