Beware that if you make a reservation, you will have to wait in a very long line (unless it's a slow day) to just be able to check in to your reservation! So get there well before your reservation time. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff for really being extra careful with the allergies that some of us had at the table! The manager even came by and spoke with us about the shrimp allergy specifically at the table. We made a reservation for brunch! I've never eaten here before and was excited to try it since it's one of the more popular spots in Disney Springs. I love the decor. It's giving like a high class yacht club type of vibe. We started off with some sweet cinnamon bread which was delicious then continued into our entrees. My fiancé and I also split a lobster bisque that was TO DIE FOR! My breakfast chorizo tacos were fantastic! I loved that they let me sub my scrambled eggs for over medium ones. I just love a runny yolk on my eggs. We ordered a 21 layer chocolate cake for dessert that said it serves 2, but it actually serves like 6. It's ginormous and chocolatey rich! I did ask for another mimosa during brunch but this time only with only a splash of the passion fruit (with the understanding that the cup wouldn't be filled up the whole way since it would have the same amount of champagne) or if they could make it a double mimosa (with the understanding this would be an additional cost) just because I wanted more champagne taste than juice. The waiter told me sure and then brought me back a mimosa that had even more juice than my last one had. Not sure what that was about, but I would never send a drink back unless there was something terribly wrong so I sucked it up. My fiancé's vodka pineapple wasn't the best either given how much it cost... but those are Disney prices for you! Overall food was really good, our drinks were just ok. I'd want to come back for like a fancy date night :)

Oh my LORDDD! Food: Salmon entree- literally said "HELL YEAH" with the first bite. Huge salmon lover here, and I loved every moment of this entree. Dreaming about it till I get it again. Grouper: Per my husband, "very good, the sauce that it was in was excellent". Truffle fries: I loved- always down for a aïoli dipping sauce, my husband felt like they were okay, which honestly worked out better for me. Large portion. Rolls: Insane, probably the least healthiest item you could consume, but truly a treat. I am not a natural bread lover and found this bread and butter combo excellent. Service & ambiance: We had a reservation and got lucky to be seated outside, right by the water edge. It was so fun and relaxing to watch the fish, boats, and birds. Service was the Disney way- quick, friendly, and efficient.

A friend and I were walking around Disney Springs on Sunday and decided to stop in to get a drink and a light snack. Thank goodness we did! We sat out back at the bar over the water and with the breeze it felt absolutely amazing. We were taken care of by Melina and she was lovely. I had the red sangria and my friend had the brunch bloody Mary. We also shared the duo dips and chips and it was so good. One of the dips was a typical salsa that had a very nice flavor to it, the second dip was a pimento cheese spread that had a little bit of heat to it, that after you swallowed within about 10 seconds you felt the slow burn coming and it was great!

We visited for lunch on a Thursday. We actually showed up 30 minutes before our reservation and they managed to fit us in even though the restaurant seemed packed. They were so kind and accommodating. The service was great! The waiter was there right after we got seated and came back regularly to check on us. We tried the fish tacos, firecracker shrimp, and lobster bisque. They were all delicious! The fish tacos were well seasoned, the shrimp could have used more spice but still had great flavor, and the lobster bisque wasn't overwhelmingly rich. There were so many people there which was a little overstimulating sometimes. Overall, it was a great experience!

I realized after I sat down at the interior bar that I could have sat at the bar on the water, good to know for next time! I ordered the Caesar salad, jumbo lump crab cake, firecracker shrimp and the Tito's strawberry fields for my cocktail. The bartenders were super friendly and helped me right away. I had a drink in my hand within about 5 minutes or so of sitting down . My cocktail was NOT sweet at all, tasted like water with lemon, which I enjoy but not when I'm expecting a delicious tasty cocktail. I did give it a swirl with my straw and that made it a little more flavorful. My Caesar salad was decent, the dressing was a little more watery then I prefer and I could have used a few more croutons but overall I liked it. The crab cake was HUGE! They were not lying when they said jumbo and I probably could have skipped the shrimp because it was way too much food. The crab cake tasted amazing! It was sooooo buttery and packed with lump crab, which I def expected for $34.00! I think it is in my top three of all time crab cakes I've had. It came with cole slaw which was very creamy how I like but it had nooooo flavor. The chipotle tartar sauce however was a great accompaniment to the crab cake, didn't make me miss remoulade at all.

Came here for Sunday brunch with a small child. They had a buster chair that our toddler refused to use. The ambiance was wonderful since they had two live musicians who were signing and playing piano. Service was nice and attentive. They did mess up my salad order but they fixed it quickly and took it off the bill. They also had a nice non alcoholic cocktail. I had a salad with shrimp that was pretty good but not special and my husband had grouper sandwich that was good as well. Overall food was pretty decent, but very expensive for what it was. We enjoyed the experience but we do believe it was way overpriced and it's coming from someone who live in Manhattan for 7+ years.

I was really looking forward to trying the Boathouse as it was one of Disney Spring's most popular restaurants. I loved the ambiance and staff were friendly. The free bread was so soft and butter; it was like an elevated Hawaiian bun. I wasn't super hungry so I split the Dockside Seafood boil and the truffle fries. The Dockside Seafood Boil was a 7/10 for me. The seafood was cooked well but I think it could have used more seasoning. I love a rich and flavorful seafood boil. The truffle fries were a 8/10 for me. Really good truffle flavor and perfect fry cut. I wish they were more crispy in a way - the fry itself almost seemed to be too greasy/absorbed too much oil. Glad I tried it but I don't think it was worth the hype.

Went to the Boathouse for lunch. The sliders melt in your mouth and are so tasty! Also the biggest crab cake I've ever seen and their key lime pie serves two but can definitely serve like four. They also have one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had and probably the best in Disney springs. The open air dinning room along with the dockside bar are a great way to enjoy your lunch or drinks. Our waitress was awesome and very friendly and answered all our questions. Recommend having a reservation, there's always a wait. Even with a reservation there was a short wait for a table.

Classy dinner! Removed from the overwhelming noise and kid centric options. This is the place! Boathouse is one of a few restaurants at Disney Springs where you can enjoy a meal in a thematic masterpiece without the overpacked dining rooms and generally less family filled. From the bar having a boat hoist to their being a booth that you literally sit inside of a car, the theming is not lacking... but the higher end menu offerings and longer wait times... the restaurant offers excellence. Everything on the menu is worth the bite! The fresh shucked oysters, the top of the line aged steak offerings.. we opted for the delicious truffle fries, Caesar salad, and filet mignon sliders. Yes, you may just want to load up on multiple appetizers. The bread service here is phenomenal. Immediately delivered to your table, piping hot, and DELICIOUS. Also, they do offer Disney discounts... and a free birthday surprise... for those wearing their birthday buttons.

    Great dinner with family!

I am sad to say that our experience at The Boathouse was an extreme let down. I am solely giving them three stars for their insanely good complimentary bread, and our amazing waitor, Neal. He was the star of the show. A truly special guy! We have been to literally thousands of restaurants, hundreds of fine dining establishments, and he provided michelin-star quality service. Even multiple other team members were very helpful. Neal was helpful, attentive, and very kind. He knew the menu very well. Food: very underwhelming. I am sad to say that everything tastes like what you would expect form a sysco-supplied restaurant. The lobster bisque was the same kind that every other cruddy Florida seafood place serves. The grouper dish was very "meh." The quality was just not there. The filet sliders were incredibly dry. The carpaccio was quite bland. Do not even order the lobster roll. It looked fantastic, with large chunks of lobster, but it was also a huge disappointment. Needless to say, their food does not match their reviews. Maybe this place has gone downhill. Not too sure. The seating layout was way too crammed. Where our table was situated was crammed against a wall and right next to the ordering system. No table should have been squeezed right there. The ambiance was very cool, a Boathouse turned into a restaurant, of course. However, they shoved way too many tables in there. Clearly a churn and burn typical touristy restaurant.

I can't here with my in-laws and family, and we had a really good time enjoying the restaurant! Although we had a reservation for 1 o'clock, we still ended up waiting additional time on a Wednesday afternoon, so be prepared to wait a little bit longer! My salmon was very tasty - and they were able to seat us on the boat per my mother in law's request!! I ordered the roasted carrots (delicious!!! 5/5, and so happy I had leftovers for tomorrows dinner) and salmon salad (4/5 - salmon was soft, and melted in my mouth!) I would definitely come here again! Actually as I was waiting in line for a disney ride the next day, another person behind me was wearing a T-shirt from the boathouse, and she said that she is from Arkansas's and she comes here often because of her annual pass, and the boathouse is her go to restaurant!

Ask the Community - The Boathouse

I was wondering if there is room to eat dinner at the bar without reservations? Thank you

All the bar seats are first come First serve, no reservations needed and you can order from the menu. There are multiple bars as well

Is any of the menu available to go?

Yes they do have carry out

Can we also order lunch appetizers during brunch?

Yes! If you go during brunch hours, it basically means you have the option to order brunch in addition to the regular menu. You do not need to order a brunch item if you happen to be dining during this window.

Do you serve a turkey dinner a few days before?

    No why would they.

Are there bugs (mosquitoes) when eating waterfront at night?

We were on the water during July and didn't experience any mosquitos!

    Are there any mocktail options?

Yes! There's a full bar so they can make pretty much any mocktail you'd like.

    Is it noisy dining inside?

Yes, especially when it's full. They also have live music some nights which makes it even noisier.

    Does it smell fishy inside?

Thankfully it does not. There is an open breeze outside, ample AC inside and some breeze through the large front and back doors. Not fishy, even by the oyster bars.

Do you use blue crab meat in your crab cakes?

    Yes we do!!

Do they have a Sunday brunch menu?

Yes it’s at the bottom of this link. It was awful!… Read more

Do you have to pay admission for the park to eat at the Boathouse?

No, parking at Disney Springs is free.

How can I get to eat in the boat inside?

Hello my love, download the Disney world, app once you create a log in, you can browse reservations and times that best suits you. That is how you can eat here.… Read more

    Are you booked for Thanksgiving?

We currently only have late night reservations available. For example 10:00, 10:30 or 10:45 pm. We will have open seating at the bar and outside dock area.

Does the boathouse have gluten free buns?

They do have a Gluten and Diary free bun/bread however I would double check with your server when you order to ensure you are getting that option! The servers are very accommodating

What is the best parking garage for the Boathouse?

The Lime Garage is the closest to the Boathouse. https://www.disneysprings.com/disney-springs-map/

How far in advance can you book a reservation?

They go by disney rules which are 180 days (or 180 from arrival if staying on property). During covid rule is at 60 days.

Does the boathouse serve stone crab when it is in season?

    Yes

Do you have any fun non-alcoholic mocktails? Will be coming there in a few weeks and I am pregnant :)

There's not any mocktails on the menu, and the cocktail menu isn't as exciting or extensive as some other Disney eateries. However, I'm sure you can order any cocktail as a virgin. Hope this helps!

How much is the car boat ride?

It’s about $125 but if you eat at the restaurant they give you a coupon that brings the price down to $100 if I remember correctly.

The caesar salad was served with a Parmesan pita crisp, and the fries were very crunchy and delicious. We split two entrees: the salmon and the vegan stuffed shells. The stuffed shells were fairly small, with only 4 in the entree, but was nonetheless flavorful and delicious. I almost forgot it was vegan! The salmon was a large cut and served over a creamy risotto and was my favorite of the evening. It was delicious. We ordered the lava cake for dessert and Bojan went the extra mile by placing a birthday candle inside of it and ended up providing the dessert on the house! This was so special and we appreciated it so much.

Plenty of parking even though we did catch a Uber ride from our stay at the Sheraton Vistana so if you're in the mood for something tasty check out the reviews check out the pictures and see if it's somewhere you might like to try. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Crystal answered our call and was incredibly kind and sweet, reassuring us that they would hold our table. When we finally arrived, she greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. The restaurant itself is beautiful--well-appointed with that classic steakhouse decor that feels high-end without being over the top. Our server, Austin, was fantastic. He brought so much fun energy to the table and was exceptionally patient and attentive with my autistic teen, which we truly appreciated. Now, for the food: Timing: Absolutely perfect. Appetizers: The mozzarella and bourbon bacon were fabulous. Main Course: The steaks and sides were cooked to perfection. We were so impressed that we asked to speak with the manager just to rave about Crystal's help earlier. The manager was professional and even stopped by again at the end of our meal to check on us. Great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and an incredible staff--we will definitely be repeat clients!

Yes, technically it's a steakhouse. But as a pescatarian, I treated the menu like a seafood scavenger hunt. I got the tuna, crudo, anything that once touched the ocean. Also, and this is critical, the French fries. You cannot walk into a place this fancy and forget the fries. That would be a personality flaw. The food was good but I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because while it was good quality I am not sure I would say it was the caliber you expect for a $400 meal for two was really there. The amuse-bouche was tasteless but pretty. The bread was nice. The lobster bisque did not have very much lobster in it. The Tomahawk steak for two was cooked to the correct medium rare plus temp but there is an unusual hard crust on the meat that tasted burnt. The beef tallow to pour on is a nice touch. The bacon Mac n cheese is very decadent and a little overwhelming but in small batches ok. The mashed potatoes are the star. Seriously delicious. Crème brûlée was tasty. Cocktails were made well. I am not sure if we would return only because I thought it was going to a wow factor and it was a good factor overall.

Two Words . . VERY…read moreRICH I keep forgetting that this restaurant is essentially serving Southern style comfort food in an upscale setting. Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

We continue to visit Eddie V's on a weekly basis and can't say enough about this place and the staff. We love to sit at the bar, and we feel like family with the entire team. The management team also makes us feel like family. The name of the restaurant says it is a seafood restaurant, which it is, and they do seafood wonderfully. But do not forget to try the steak. They have filet, bone in strip, and bone in ribeye that are better than other high end steakhouses in the country. We do not have a single hesitation in recommending this place. If you go to the Orlando location, have a drink at the bar and you won't regret it. Special shoutout to bartender Chanti who provides such a welcoming environment that keeps us coming back, we love you! The management team is great too. We were ushered in almost immediately by the host who was very gracious and friendly. The place is very clean and well maintained with classy decor. We appreciated that they have eye friendly, warm yellow lighting for the dining area at evening and not the bright white lights that feel somewhat disorienting. We tried the Tuna tartare for appetizer, the full churrascaria experience for the husband, the fish of the day with lemon butter sauce for me, a classic old fashioned and a Brazilian old fashioned. Everything that was served to us was absolutely delicious! The husband particularly LOVED the flank steak. He said he's never had flank steak so tender and juicy. The sides offered with the churrascaria experience were also to his liking. Especially the brussel sprouts topped with maple syrup. The fish of the day was very well prepared as well. The seasoning was on point. The fish was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. The tuna tartare was very different from what we're used to but was really good with the avocado and arugula it was served with. The old fashioned were very nicely prepared too. The Brazilian old fashioned deserves a special mention here. It takes Cachaça instead of the usual bourbon and the flavors were so good, so delectable that we'd probably go back for more of just that. LOL! All in all, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely return here as well as recommend the place.

The space is very broad and we felt quite comfortable at our table. Regarding the food, everything was good. Half of our group went with the Full Rodizio Experience, while others ordered from the A La Carte menu, and everyone was satisfied with the quality of the meats and dishes. However, the overall experience felt a bit disorganized. While our server was friendly, the service was not as proactive as you would expect from a high end steakhouse. We had to constantly ask for water refills and specifically request to have the table cleared and cleaned, as it wasn't being done automatically. It's a beautiful spot with great potential and delicious food, but the attention to detail and service flow definitely need some refinement to match the quality of the kitchen. A solid choice for groups, but be prepared to be more vocal with the staff regarding your needs.
