Their vibe is dark, nautical, it matches the resorts. Everything is navy blue, its pretty dark inside, but they do have a few TVs. My wife and I prefer to come here when we stay at the Yacht Club or the Beach club but we have visited a few times just to get away from the park. We also stop here when we like to do the Yacht and Beach crawl. If you are not staying here you will need to figure out a different way to access the resort. They offer a small selection of food, mostly which are appetizers, but there are a couple of items you could order as a meal. Last time we were here we did see a few people order food to go probably back to their room. Something my wife and I always have to order is the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three spreads and 5 rolls. The spreads include Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These are so good and actually one time we stayed we ordered these every single night, they are that good. The spreads are great on their own but even better when you mix them. I would prefer the rolls to be hot but they are still great. We also ordered the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo and the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. Both are really delicious and easy to share or even have both as your meal. The last thing we ordered was the flatbread. They have a seasonal flatbread which was French onion soup but we found out they also offer just a pepperoni flatbread which is not on the menu. This was a great flatbread, really cheesy, great flavor, not too heavy on the pepperoni but really good overall. For drinks I really prefer to get order off the menu and get either a dirty martini or a Manhattan. They have a full bar and can do most drinks. My wife loves their wine particularly the Dr. Loosen, Dr. L. Riesling which she finds around Disney. She also enjoys a good lemon drop martini. Overall this is a great stop, it is one of my favorite lounges. It is comfy, dark, not super loud, they have great food options and great drinks. I would say stop by when you can and check it out! ACES!

We were seated for 10+ minutes with no greeting and when a waiter finally appeared he ignored us and went to a different table that was seated after us. We were trying to get a drink and app before our room was ready but thankfully after the miss in service, I got a text that our room was ready so we just left. Anyway, usually good place to get a drink but maybe next time we will just sit at the bar.

As you enter the hotel, the bar is to your right and as you walk down the hallway, you turn to the left by the staircase, and you are there. It's a nice, small bar with additional tables and chairs on the balcony. On the Sunday evening that we went, there was no waitress to take your order. You selected the menu from the bar area and then placed your order with the bartender. We ordered the Askur Gimlet ($19.50) and the Sparkling Hibiscus ($18.50) cocktails. My friend enjoyed her gimlet, and my hibiscus drink was nice, but a little sweet for me. The hibiscus flower in the glass was edible, which was cool to experience. Overall, nice place for a cocktail, but the prices are high and the drinks were not that strong. I know this is a Disney resort and you pay extra for the environment, but I expected a little more for $20+ drinks (with tax and tip) and minimal service. However, it's a quaint spot to stop in for the experience.

My group and I enjoyed a couple pre-dinner drinks here and it was a nice escape from the heat and hustle. I walked in with my husband and we had to basically launch at a table as soon as they were getting up because of how many people were coming in after us trying to get spots at this tiny bar. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are very good however the seating is awful and I basically feel shoulder to shoulder with everybody around me and the seats themselves are pretty uncomfortable unless you get lucky and get a couch, which there are only a couple of. Drinks are on the higher end with then costing anywhere around $18 and upward of that. I will say my espresso Martini was one of the best ones I have ever had and was very flavorful. Our waitress was not the world's best and forgot to give us the water we asked for both times she came over . The only time she was very quick was when we asked her for the check so we could pay and leave. Overall a nice bar but not one that I would drop anything for because when it comes to this place, you are paying more for the aesthetic of looking like you're in a speakeasy that is centered around magic. My advice if you come here to look at all of the pictures because they do tend to actually change! As if like magic!

A bar with such limited…read moreseating and such a reputation that you will undoubtedly have a two hour wait at minimum - if you can even get on the waitlist for the entire evening - with it usually filling up by 3:00 everyday. Transported into another realm, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is a Jungle-cruised tiki bar with decor upon decor and epic theming! As certain drinks are ordered, the waitresses and bartenders have skits to do with squirt guns, interactive decor pieces, and chants for the entire room to repeat! You are fully immersed into the experience with fake windows showing volcanos and jungle views, an octopus tentacle reaching in through a port hole and around the ceiling beams, and tons of details that are just true to Disney's excellence. We grabbed a reservation before dinner and enjoyed the: Skipper Sipper - fresh lime and mint perfume the tropical juices with the zippy pops of soda water Polynesian Punch - POG with Ginger Beer! It sounds like a them park duo made for greatness. Flavor was on point and extremely refreshing! If you are around for an afternoon or staying at the Polynesian, snag a waitlist spot and enjoy this niche but epic experience!

If you are not wanting to dine at the resort, you can take a bus or monorail from Magic Kingdom. It has been a while since I did a review and we have been here quite a few times over the last year. I felt it was time to update. I have a love hate with this place, I used to love it, then we had some negative experiences however, the last few visits have been great. They now open early at 11am which is really great as it gets so busy! We love to stop here when doing a monorail crawl but also recently took my mom and dad here. You need to add your name to the list and your wait can be different all the time. It really depends on how many names are on the list. I will say that larger groups tend to wait much longer. If you are a smaller group such as 2, and are seated at a table for 4, just know that they will seat you with others. MY biggest issue with this place is I believe it should have a time limit. It is incredibly small inside and we have waited over 3 hours to go in. I just feel if Beak and Barrell at Magic and Oga's at Studios has a time limit, they need one here. Maybe bump it to 60 minutes. The problem comes with that there is so much to see and interactions happening with drinks being ordered that you could literally sit in there for hours and order 1 drink. We have had many drinks on the menu including wine and beer. I am not in love with all their drinks, they are very rum heavy and can be very sweet and full of juice, however there are some good ones. I have also tried just wine which is also fine. My husband frequently orders the beer flight which includes 3 different types of Kona beer. Some of my favorite cocktails are the Rosita's Margarita, which is Casamigos reposado tequila, bols orange curacao liqueur, fresh lime juice, falernum and organic agave nectar. It is really good but can be sour if not made correct. Don't be afraid if that happens to ask them to add a little extra sweetener. I also enjoy the Mosquito Mojito which has Bacardi Dragonberry Rum, Organic Agave Nectar, Falernum, Mint, and Fresh Lime Juice topped with Soda Water. It is a classic mojito but can also end up being sour. I usually ask for a little extra nectar. They also serve food. We love the food here and they have actually updated their menu recently. Our favorite item is the Thai Chicken Flatbread with bacon and peanut sauce which is delicious and the Pan-Fried Dumplings. They have a new Shrimp and Plantain Roll which looks great and we will be trying it next time. Some of their drinks come with an interactive experience including the Uh-Oa, the Nautilus, the Hippopoto Mai-Tai and the Krakatoa Punch. And anyone who orders it, gets to sort of take part in the interactive experience. The whole lounge has effects. Would I recommend this yes. I am torn if this is a 4 or a 3. The wait is ridiculous at times, but it is really fun. I prefer the table seats as opposed to the bar or high tops personally and you cannot really ask to sit somewhere. I do think this needs to be expanded. Outside they have a different version or Trader Sam's, same menu no interactivities. They need to take that over and make this lounge much much larger. I would say check it out if you can get it or dont mind waiting. Put your name on the list and go to a different bar and wait!
