Shades, in general, can feel like a big commitment but Blinds Brothers were competitive with pricing and amenable to specific requests in our design. If I ever need shades/blinds/curtains again, they will be my first call.

I have nothing but great things to say about Blind Brothers! We bought our house as a new…read moreconstruction house which meant there were no window treatments anywhere in the house. Obviously, I did not want to shower in a bathroom without blinds or shades so we reached out to two window treatment companies - Blind Brother being one of them. We reached out to the other company, Allure, first and they came out to show samples and provide an estimate. They were thorough and had a lot of samples but they quoted us over $3,500 for 7 window shades. I wasn't ordering anything crazy and the price seemed a little high but I had never purchased shades before so we decided to reach out to another company for one more quote. My husband called Blind Brothers and they sent someone to us within 2 days! The person that came to show us samples and measure the windows was very courteous, thorough, and wore a mask throughout his visit! After he measured each of the windows and I told him which colors I wanted for the shades, they provided us with a quote that was more than 50% less than what Allure quoted us! I paid the full amount on the spot and they ordered our shades and set up a call back to schedule our installation once the shades came in. My order arrived after about 2 weeks and the installation was so quick and smooth I barely even noticed him in the house. He made sure to keep everything clean and when he noticed that one shade had a streak he said they would order a new one and replace it at no charge. I highly highly recommend Blind Brothers if you're looking for new window treatments! I will definitely be reaching back out to upgrade my shades to motorized ones!

I would not recommend using Allure in Philadelphia owned by Roi Albo. I have had nothing but…read moretrouble since we started this process. Michael Halpern came out and measured my windows and said he would get back to me with a quote. A week later, he still did not get back to me with a quote. I had to follow up with the company several times to get a quote. This should've been my first sign. After signing the contract, Michael told me I would receive my shades in 4 to 5 weeks. After nine weeks, the shades were not ready. I had to follow up with the company multiple times to find out when my shades were coming in. They were full of excuses. Finally, they scheduled a day for install after me calling many times. When the shades arrived, four of the seven shades I ordered were measured wrong and could not be hung. I called and they said they would call me later in the day to explain how they would fix the situation. 2 days later I still did not receive a phone call. After I called them and they returned days later to install the shades that were measured wrong, there were still many issues. They did not supply me with the proper amount of remotes. They did not provide a bottom track for one of my shades. There were nails showing on the frames of the shades that were supposed to have caps on them. The day after the shade was installed the chain to open the shade broke. Finally, they came back to fix the chain and it still does not work. They brought a piece of trim that belongs a floor and tried to install that on the bottom of my window. I'm not sure that the owner, Roi Albo, would have that in his house. I asked him to come to my house to look at the windows that and he will not schedule a time. I still do not have the bottom rail to one of my shades. I also still do not have the proper remote. One shade will not open because the chain is faulty. I would not recommend this company to anyone and cannot possibly understand how they can run a business like this. The only positive experience I've had has been with the installers. They are very friendly and nice.

Different brand but less than $4,000 for same blinds. Easy to make an appointment for them to come out. They measured and installed within a month. Great product and service. It's been a year and we are so satisfied!

My wife and I were looking for custom blinds for our kitchen window and her home office. Standard sized windows with no strange dimensions or unusual color patterns. Very standard to match our Living room blinds that we bought from Ikea at a fraction of the cost. To make a long story short the kitchen window was installed 2 months later with a very noticeable gap on each side letting tons of light in. The office blind was pushed off and backordered so many times we ended up cancelling the installation. Customer service was difficult to reach and dismissive of our concerns. There blinds are also extremely overpriced. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted on Amazon for a fraction of the price and installed them ourselves. Do yourself a favor and do some additional research and take time to shop around before utilizing this company.

I cannot say enough positive accolades for my experience at Benjamin Moore paint in Wayne. When I…read morewalked in I was given some space to acclimate myself to the store but when I was ready for help I was given excellent advice, attentive care and feel thrilled with the choices I made. Keep an eye out for one of the guys that works there named Joe. He really knows his stuff. (I bet everyone who works there knows their stuff) The crazy thing is that I went in with a color in mind and he actually seem to of read my mind and showed me that color before I asked for it. Out of all of the colors in the world! I didn't feel pressured one way or the other but I felt secure. When I mentioned a friends dining room that was painted a shiny lacquer remembered the actual color. The people who are painting my cabinets will come in to the shop and work with him to get the right Sheen and equipment. I feel very confident working with Benjamin Moore paint. In Wayne. I know that the parking is not as ideal as some of the other paint stores in the area but it's worth it. Give Benjamin Moore a shot you will be happy. It's also worth noting that they carry very fancy British paint that would need an expert to administer. Someday I will have the best looking glossy front doors. For now I will stick to my cabinets.

My 89 year old mom went to this store to make a small purchase and asked for assistance, which she…read morereceived and she left pleased with the purchase overall. When she brought it home, I saw the receipt and immediately noticed that it was sold at a price the was extraordinarily high. Like, REALLY high - even for Ben Moore. I went to verify my concern about what price point my mom was sold and a comparable item at HoPo was 1/4 the price. The price was especially high because she explained its use; to stain the wood legs on a new foot stool. Hardly a project that required a high end custom stain. When I went to the store the salesman was there and was open to discussing what happened for my mom that lead my mom to believe this high price was what was truly needed for her tiny project. The manager was present during the entire conversation with the employee and at one point jumped in and was immediately extremely assertive; exactly the opposite of the sales person. The manager was consistently denying any responsibility...even after his employee acknowledge he understood how it may have been confusing to my mom and apologized to me. All in front of the manager. Not the manager; he behaved in extreme opposition to the established sales philosophy of 'The customer is always right.' I am sure the store will object to my review for many reasons that are likely inaccurate...but if they do you will be best served to analyze if they are worthy of your business by looking at whatever retort they made but in the context of whether their rebuttal is still valid if the original sale was made as it should have been and supported by the employee as improper. There is no valid objection that could warrant this manager's behavior once the original error is consider as the cause...and all the negative treatment by the manager solely the effect which warrants this type of review. There are other options that are of equal quality and I would suggest looking into those options; I strongly advise to not shop at this particular Ben Moore if that is still your manufacturing preference. Other Ben Moore stores are also available for consideration. I hope this is useful to other shoppers.
