Soon after scheduling with Katya, Yehuda came to our home with samples and was very helpful in selecting the right colors and fabrics. The shades were ordered and in less than three weeks Mendy was here for a perfect installation. We have one room where we needed light diffusing shades during the day and blackout shades at night, and we had the two shades installed, one in front of the other. There are no chains or strings to mar the look (or create a hazard for kids and pets), and the shades (and valances in matching fabric) look great. We only wish we had used Blinds Brothers for the other rooms in our home when we first moved here.

I came to Blinds To Go because the Home Depot's ordering and installation process takes a minimum…read moreof 3 weeks, and ain't nobody got time for that. I walked into Blinds To Go on Black Friday (total coincidence) and the gentlemen that I spoke with (Darius) helped me figure out what style and color blinds I wanted. He ran two quotes - one for a fancy valence, and one for a very plain valence. Since it was Black Friday they were running a sale which meant I could get the fancy valence for only $30 more total than the plain ones! That was my first "win." He then explained that it would be $40.00 for one of their professional installers to come check my measurements, and that he could come on Wednesday. I was impressed with that nominal fee and the turnaround time. I figured it was best to shell over the $40 so I could be sure our measurements were accurate. John, one of their blind installers, came to my house to check my measurements on the Wednesday following Black Friday and he informed me that we actually did have room to mount inset blinds (we thought we didn't) and that he'd readjust our measurements for us. Darius called me later in the day to tell me that the new measurements resulted in a decrease of the total cost of the blinds by $70. Another win! On Saturday I received an email that my blinds were delivered to the store and to contact the installer to schedule a day for installation. I called right away and Darius put me on the phone with John, who just so happened to be at the shop. We decided he'd come Monday between 3:30 and 4. John encountered a bit of traffic on Monday so he didn't arrive until 4:30, but he put the blinds up quickly and they look great!! I am very happy with my experience here. Start to finish the whole project took 11 days!

Back in 2015 I was calling around to blinds companies and found Blinds 4 U in a ValuePak mailing…read more(pretty sure that was my source!). I had Blinds 4 U come out and price the cost of replacing several blinds, including a very large one for our sliding glass doors at our back patio. Howard V.'s quote came in decidedly lower that that of a larger, better known/advertised shop. (And he showed up right-on-time, if not a bit early, to-boot!) I hired Howard and his people did a great job of installing all my new blinds. This past week I went to open the largest blinds at my sliding glass doors when the continuous line broke. Luckily, I had kept Howard's phone number and the paperwork about our 2015 installation in a file in my office. I called him hoping he and Blinds 4 U were still in business, given how many companies closed during Covid! Happily, he took my call and has ordered the replacement line. I look forward to his coming out to fix my blinds when the part comes in, and, getting a quote to replace a set of 20+ year-old vertical blinds in my master bathroom! I'll update this review once Howard has been here. :)

Michael Halpern came out and measured my windows and said he would get back to me with a quote. A week later, he still did not get back to me with a quote. I had to follow up with the company several times to get a quote. This should've been my first sign. After signing the contract, Michael told me I would receive my shades in 4 to 5 weeks. After nine weeks, the shades were not ready. I had to follow up with the company multiple times to find out when my shades were coming in. They were full of excuses. Finally, they scheduled a day for install after me calling many times. When the shades arrived, four of the seven shades I ordered were measured wrong and could not be hung. I called and they said they would call me later in the day to explain how they would fix the situation. 2 days later I still did not receive a phone call. After I called them and they returned days later to install the shades that were measured wrong, there were still many issues. They did not supply me with the proper amount of remotes. They did not provide a bottom track for one of my shades. There were nails showing on the frames of the shades that were supposed to have caps on them. The day after the shade was installed the chain to open the shade broke. Finally, they came back to fix the chain and it still does not work. They brought a piece of trim that belongs a floor and tried to install that on the bottom of my window. I'm not sure that the owner, Roi Albo, would have that in his house. I asked him to come to my house to look at the windows that and he will not schedule a time. I still do not have the bottom rail to one of my shades. I also still do not have the proper remote. One shade will not open because the chain is faulty. I would not recommend this company to anyone and cannot possibly understand how they can run a business like this. The only positive experience I've had has been with the installers. They are very friendly and nice.
