Blinds 4 U installed Venetian blinds in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in our home in 2007. They are as beautiful and stylish today as they were when installed and until a week ago all worked perfectly. Last week the pull-strings for the slats in the blind in one bathroom stopped working, and, coincidentally, a couple weeks ago a clip holding the wood valance onto a blind in the master bedroom cracked off. I looked up our invoice from 2007 and called the company yesterday. Howard Voluck, one of the owners, offered to come out today to look at the problems, which he did at the time he promised. He spent several minutes fixing the bathroom blind and then installed new clips and remounted the bedroom blind valance. When I asked what I owed, he said no charge. What business will give such exceptional service for free 11 years after you bought their product? I don't know of any other. There is no higher recommendation I can give. If your looking to purchase window treatments for your home, i highly recommend Blinds 4 U. Arnold was easy to work with and honest. He took the time to educate both my wife and i on different window treatments that would aesthetically suit our custom windows. After the windows treatments were ordered, Arnold continued to update us until they arrived. The window treatments were successfully installed without an issue. The installer took his time, and was very polite. Over the course of 12 months, we experienced an issue with one blind. I left a message for Arnold, and he contacted be back immediately. My new blinds were installed yesterday. I love them! This local company is a pleasure to work with. Howard came to the house and explained various options to us, showed us samples, then measured our windows. We ordered them right away because we had already had another price quote that was almost $1000 more than Blinds 4U (for 8 double windows). Almost 4 weeks later the shades were installed. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. It only took them an hour. They encouraged us to call if there are any problems. We purchased blinds in July 2005. Two weeks ago the cord on one of the blinds broke and we didn't know how to fix it ourselves. We called the owner who we bought them from all that many years ago. We called on a Friday and he said he would come and fix it at 9:00 on the following Monday morning. At 9:00 a.m. sharp Howard showed up, fixed the cord, showed us how to fix a similar problem in the future, and charged us zip. We couldn't believe what had just happened. I bought many wooden blinds from Blinds 4 U in 2007. On Saturday one in the bedroom blinds would not open/close. I sent an email to Blinds 4 U on Sunday. Howard replied call me. I did on MOnday mornring. He came out on Tues morning replaced a part and the blinds work perfectly.
