She was even able to find an exact match through Graber Pleated blinds that worked with an existing blind that did not need to be replaced. I love my new chordless Graber blinds. Her installer came and measured my windows and his measurements were exact. She represents many option lines to fit a variety of budgets. When my blinds came in she contacted me to schedule the installation conveniently with my work schedule. It was obvious that the installer was experienced and he even took the time to show me how to handle opening and closing my patio verticals correctly. What I especially liked was her professionalism, personal touch and great suggestions . You will not find this at a Big Box store. It was truly a painless process from start to completion.

There are many elderly residents on the street who end up having to walk from a block away because employees of the store take up minimally three to four parking spots every day. After the blizzards, when we spent many hours digging out a few precious spots, Norman's employees rolled in and took them. As I wrote, I cannot speak to how they do as a business, but if this is how they treat their neighbors, I'm guessing they are the opposite of nice and or integrity based people to do business with, which seems to be the case judging by their terrible reviews.

The quote/proposal has a decent amount of information, I'd probably say a little better than the average of the 7 quotes so that's always a plus for the customer. Company representative was kind, responsive and helpful at the beginning however after providing the original proposal, additional documentation was offered to be provided to help with the process from the company/representative and for whatever reason that seemed to be the big issue. Each week for about a month, certain documentation which the representative voluntarily offered to provide was promised to be provided and each week it was never received and the same apology for being busy was given. It's understandable that people are busy/have outside factors going on in life but why promise to provide something and then give a reason to why it didn't happen for each week going on 3+ weeks. After checking in on the paperwork not being received and wondering when it's going to happen, the representative got very irritated along with some interesting words but basically said good luck and moved on. I'd say more but the representative seemed pretty unhinged so I'll leave it at that and let you decide for yourself. The problem was after they completed the job in 6 hours, I walked into see the walls un-sanded, doors and trim partially caulked, my door hinges painted, and just a very messy job to my disappointment. I also have dried dripping paint on my wood trim. All other estimate stated two days to complete the job. First day, prep the walls (sand, spackle, caulk, smooth out, etc.) and then next day paint so I was befuddled by Jay telling me they were finished the job. I could not understand how they could prepare and paint two rooms and finish in 6 hours. Jay told me they do not caulk, do not fill holes, or spackle anything in any of their paint jobs to my dismay. If I would have known this information upfront I would not have allowed them to proceed. In good faith, I paid Jay in full and he said he would come back and fix anything I wanted. He did so today, but to my misfortune, the job needs to be completely done over by new painters. I wish Jay and his team the best going forward. Everyone just needs to be crystal clear on the expectations and have it clearly spelled out in writing.

The initial call was pleasant enough but after at least ten tries to get them to actually pick up the carpets I give up. Now I'm stuck two weeks away from an event in my home with dirty rolled up carpets. I even tried theier "emergency" number and still nothing. Bottom line: Don't waste your time trying to do business with Middleton, take your business elsewhere.
