Beautiful living room half shutters!

Awesome experience with Blinds Brothers. Very responsive when I contacted for an estimate. The ordering of our shutters was easy and they were installed today. Could not be happier!

This company is amazing!! Very professional, easy to communicate with, and kept to deadline. They also were able to work with my budget as well. Great experience.

This company provides excellent service and I believe very affordable. I think this company's philosophy is old school "treat your customers well, give them a quality product at an affordable price and hope they tell their friends. " so I'm telling you!! Definitely call them! My new blinds look awesome!

Ask the Community - Blinds Brothers

Hello, I saw you had Reccommended Royal Drapery on Orthodox Street for blinds repair but it appears they went out of business. Would you restring 1 or 2 cellular shades I have or can you recommend someone to do this? Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, unfortunately, we do not know anyone who does restrings.

Hi, how do they compare in price with other blind/shade competitors? Do they price match?

I didn't check out any other blinds companies, only Lowe's. Lowe's was cheaper but the warranty was not as good and they subcontract. Plus the sales people in the store were not very knowledgeable about their products.… Read more

Is there a ballpark figure for how much adding power controls to shades adds to the cost? Assuming average type window sizes (28-32 wide).

Our motors vary depending on product but you can expect to pay $300-$450 per battery motor or rechargeable motor. Hardwired motors are offered for a variety of applications and cost more but you generally wouldn’t need them for small shades

Do you replace cords on roman shades? I have three to be restrung.

Hey Liz, we don’t replace Roman shade cords but try calling Royal Drapery on Orthodox st in Philadelphia. They are a drapery work room and should be able to replace your cords.… Read more

How much are 72" mini blinds?

I think that depends on the material you choose such as fabric, wood etc. I do think they are very reasonable and outstanding service so give them a call.

Blinds To Go

After 3 years of not having "real" window treatments (used blankets, cardboard, etc to block the…read moresun), and being unhappy with the prices/service/selection at several other local and on-line blind stores, we decided to see what our local Blinds-To-Go offered. (summary and rating break-down, below) I wasn't really expecting to find anything there, but we were immediately greeted by the friendly BTG staff, and I began to feel hopeful. We were quickly introduced to Brittany Hall and she asked us questions about our needs and what style we were looking for. I felt very comfortable talking with her and I could tell that she was really listening to the details, without judgement. That might sound funny, but we've been to other stores where the salesperson offers something we specified that we did NOT want, or worse yet, tries to 'negate' our reasoning for certain preferences, with almost a condescending tone. That was not at all the case with Brittany. She patiently listened to my list of "requirements", asked a few questions for clarity, waited while we worked out an answer, and then she took out a book and pointed to two swatches, which were EXACTLY what we had pictured! She even read the fabric content to us, because we were very particular about the materials. After we chose the shade for the living room, we gave her a few details about the dining room; she stepped away for a moment and then returned with a swatch that again, was PERFECT! After years of searching and numerous in-store encounters that left us weary and discouraged, Brittany was able to help us pick out just the right thing in practically no time at all! How'd she do that?? Once we placed the order and paid the deposit, there were a few days of phone calls, measurements, and follow-up questions. Brittany was patient, knowledgeable, and socially appropriate along every step of the way; (socially appropriate: gave us space to verbally work things out between the two of us, while being immediately available for more info, or politely interjecting with helpful information). So, "what about the blinds?", you say... They were ready, as promised, 2 days after ordering. Thomas Dent helped us with pickup and he, too, was VERY patient and helpful as we checked everything out to make sure the order was correct. We got them home and the first one took about an hour to install (start-to-finish). We are perfectionists and it had to be exactly right. The second window took about 20 minutes, as we had the 'experience' of doing the first one, and could check the first one for certain 'clearances', etc, to get it perfect, as well. The store service: 5/5 (awesome job, Brittany and Thomas!!) The materials: 4/5 (quality fabrics, meets our requirements; brackets disappear, but could be a little easier to work with; stainless chain is nice, but would have liked more color options for the chain; install instructions were mostly helpful) The color: 4/5 (good selection; our roller shades ended up being slightly lighter in color than the sample swatches, but negligibly so) The manufacturing: 3.5/5 (the "chain-link" on each chain was in the wrong place and it took a while to figure out how to fix the first one - tip: removal not necessary, see below; and, due to the way the bottom weight bar on one shade was installed in the factory, there are slight 'waves' that can be seen more with certain uplighting, but most people may not notice it. The other one is perfect.) Suggestions to BTG: - offer a display in the store that allows customers to view the sample swatches under different lights. Our choice looked pale grey in the store, but is dark grey-brown-purple at home. Fortunately, we had paint swatches from our house, so we used that to compare. Without it, well, I shudder to think... - give Brittany a raise - seriously, she's fantastic! TIPS to BUYERS: - Bring a paint swatch from home (we just painted a little 2" square of drywall with our colors & put it in a sandwich bag - you can keep it for other decorating decisions, too!) - Think about how you will use the window treatment day, afternoon, night, alone, with company, how the sun moves, room lighting, etc. - ask for Brittany Hall when you go to BTG in Deptford (she's like our Roller Shade Angel!) - Steel Sidewinder: remove the factory-installed plastic stopper discs, and if the chain-link is in the wrong spot, have two people hold the shade ends (or lay on a clean, flat surface) and keep pulling the chain-link until it is in a non-obstructive spot (the shade will probably flip around itself a few times). Then, install and roll the shade to the top and bottom of where you want it to stop and reinsert the plastic stopper discs on the chain (all unclear in their directions). We put two at each "stop spot", one's a back-up in case the other one breaks. SUMMARY: We're finally happy with our window coverings and, thanks to Brittany and BTG, it was actually a pleasant experience! We think the shades look great!!

Michael Halpern came out and measured my windows and said he would get back to me with a quote. A week later, he still did not get back to me with a quote. I had to follow up with the company several times to get a quote. This should've been my first sign. After signing the contract, Michael told me I would receive my shades in 4 to 5 weeks. After nine weeks, the shades were not ready. I had to follow up with the company multiple times to find out when my shades were coming in. They were full of excuses. Finally, they scheduled a day for install after me calling many times. When the shades arrived, four of the seven shades I ordered were measured wrong and could not be hung. I called and they said they would call me later in the day to explain how they would fix the situation. 2 days later I still did not receive a phone call. After I called them and they returned days later to install the shades that were measured wrong, there were still many issues. They did not supply me with the proper amount of remotes. They did not provide a bottom track for one of my shades. There were nails showing on the frames of the shades that were supposed to have caps on them. The day after the shade was installed the chain to open the shade broke. Finally, they came back to fix the chain and it still does not work. They brought a piece of trim that belongs a floor and tried to install that on the bottom of my window. I'm not sure that the owner, Roi Albo, would have that in his house. I asked him to come to my house to look at the windows that and he will not schedule a time. I still do not have the bottom rail to one of my shades. I also still do not have the proper remote. One shade will not open because the chain is faulty. I would not recommend this company to anyone and cannot possibly understand how they can run a business like this. The only positive experience I've had has been with the installers. They are very friendly and nice.

However, the shutters that were delivered and installed contain 3-inch louvers, which materially differ from what I contracted for. At no point was I notified -- verbally or in writing -- of any change to the louver size. I did not approve any modification to the original order, nor did I receive any written amendment, disclosure, or authorization reflecting this change. The merchant is now claiming that their designer informed my husband that the louvers "needed to be" 3 inches. This statement is categorically false. No such conversation occurred, and even if it had, there is no written documentation to support a change to the signed contract. I would never authorize a material alteration to a $6,000 purchase without written confirmation. After this dispute arose, I reviewed publicly available consumer feedback, including Google reviews and AI-generated summaries of customer complaints. These sources reflect that other customers have reported receiving products that did not match their original specifications, including shutter size discrepancies, post-contract changes, and claims of undocumented verbal approvals.

We originally set up an appointment with 3day blinds on April 18. Fully expected that 3days was…read moremarketing and it would take a bit more time. It is now July 3 and 2/3 of the order have been installed. Not all of the process has been a disaster. Consultant came out quickly. Spent a good amount of time with my wife, Kathleen Otoole, to get the measurements and types correct. We ordered some of the best items they offered including motorized shades. We even expanded our order to include bathroom shades. We clearly identified materials and types and the measurements were extensive. The process went downhill from there. Multiple separate orders were placed which sent out multiple automated emails from 3day setting up and canceling appointments through email. We received multiple emails securing the order and we, of course, paid up front. We figured three day blinds would surely be delivered within two weeks. Unfortunately the consultant didn't work to make the situation clear and we had no idea what was happening from the order and payment until more than a month and a half before hearing from them. They scheduled an installer. And this time he only had one third of the order. He installed it. But he had no idea where the rest of the order was and as always it was difficult to get the attention of our consultant. Eventually she explained there was some delay with the other two rooms but she was working to make sure that they were moving forward. Move forward another month and she let us know they were scheduled for delivery and our installer would reach out. As now we were up against moving in we asked if she could help us get scheduled. She said installation is separate and we would have to call the installer and ask them to move quickly once delivered. We called them and since they didn't have eyes on the order, they couldn't promise an early install. That's reasonable as they could not see it so we waited a few extra days for the I stalkers to come and finish the job. They did show up a bit later than we hoped. But they showed up and what install was done was good. Unfortunately, he could only install one of the rooms. He said the other drapes were completely manufactured wrong and he could not install. He said they would have to reorder. And reinstall. He left. We heard nothing for about another week or so. I just reached out for a status. Our consultant said ahead of time asked but has not heard back. We reached out two months before we moved in. We have now been moved in for a month. We hobbled together shades from target so our neighbors wouldn't have to watch us daily. We selected three day blinds because three days suggested faster than most. We are three months out now, no shades on the most important windows in the home, we paid upfront and in total. Frustrating is an understatement. But they can still make it right. Get us notification of a progress. Get us a date when they will be done. Ensure it is expedited. And make sure on your side that a great install is quickly scheduled AND completed. I will adjust my review if you can get this reasonable suggestion accomplished. Order is under my wife's name, Kathleen Otoole. We are on Lake drive in Shorewood WI. This is a great chance for you all to shine.

One fabric was promised for November, arrived in January, and although completed, they could not schedule installation until mid‑April, 3 months after the fabric arrived. The excuse is they need two installers and don't have an open time until mid-April. We had expected it all to be done before the end of 2025. We now have 5 huge boxes they expect us to store for a month with 4 more being delivered tomorrow. For two of the three rooms, they delivered the first set of valences badly bubbled. We were later told the fabric was unsuitable, though this was never disclosed upfront. The company agreed to remake them at no cost, but the replacements--completed weeks ago--were supposed to be run horizontally to avoid seams and instead they came in running vertically with seams. They are now redoing the valences for a third time. And though these are also finished and have been delivered, they do not have installers to install them. I would never recommend this company. It isn't the salespersons' fault but the production team and installation team have repeatedly dropped the ball. We have been waiting over 9 months to have this completed, and much of the delay was their fault. You would think they would make this a priority and just find a way to get it done. They are understaffed and no one seems to care about customer service and fixing problems they caused. We have had ongoing problems with this business. We ordered over $35,000 in draperies and shades last May and are still waiting for several items. One fabric was promised for November, arrived in January, and although completed, cannot be installed until mid‑April. The excuse is they need two people and don't have a full day to book them to complete the installation. We had expected it all done before the end of 2025. We now have 5 huge boxes sitting in a room with 4 more being delivered tomorrow. We have 22 people for the Jewish Holiday with many staying over and living in a condo there is no room to store these boxes in our small storage facility. In the two guest rooms, the first set of valences and drapes arrived badly bubbled. We were later told the fabric was unsuitable, though this was never disclosed upfront. The company agreed to remake them at no cost, but the replacements--completed weeks ago--were incorrectly seamed instead of railroaded. They are now redoing the valences for a third time. And though these are also finished they cannot seem to find the installers to install them now. I would never recommend this company. It isn't the salespersons' fault but the production team and installation team have not been cooperative. Upper management should be able to remedy this before the 1st of April when our company arrives. I have written to upper management but have not had great results. It is still scheduled at the beginning and end of the second week of April. Why they can't hire the installers to do this prior is not making any sense and given our patience at this point they should be bending over backwards. They have a strict policy of requiring full payment upfront - now I know why. DO NOT USE THEM.
