As I had come here after I had already eaten some unexceptional pastries from Toma Toma earlier, and had thrown out my very weak latte from Toma after a couple of sips, I only had a small cold brew, but it was REALLY GOOD! It certainly helped me to overcome my disappointment with my Toma Toma latte. The service was fast and friendly, and it is a very cute place. I will be sure to go to Side Door Cafe soon to try their food, and hopefully improve their rating to the 5 stars that I believe it will likely deserve.

(accessories and lifestyle items for jeep owners) Key tip though : Make sure to go in the side door near the Grill. If you want in through the front door of the dealership, you will be bombarded by super aggressive salespeople wanting to sell you a new car. Took me a couple times to figure this out. If you part in the spaces marked " Parking for Jeep Grill and Just for Jeeps" they will leave you alone (If I do a review for the dealership, it is not nearly as flattering)

I went in again on 9/2, however, and was very disappointed. First, the good: Their bagels are very good and they don't skimp on the lox, as the other bagel shop I frequent tends to do. Now, the bad: I ordered a sesame seed bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. Obviously, because I just mentioned it, this isn't my first time in a bagel shop. In fact, I frequent an excellent one just 2 towns over, so when I placed that order what I expected to get was an untoasted bagel with cream cheese topped with lox on both halves. What I got was a toasted bagel sandwich with cream cheese on one half and lox on the other. First, they should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the bagel toasted. I didn't want it toasted and wasn't expecting to get it that way. A good bagel stands on its own and doesn't need toasting (the exception, of course, is for those who prefer butter in their bagels). I may return. I'm not sure, but I'll definitely make sure I specify it remain untoasted if I do. PS - if they're making pumpernickel bagels (the other bagel shop no longer does, because of poor sales) maybe some could be made without raisins?

There are tables and chairs for the customers. They provide a nice area to browse one's recent purchases. Restrooms are shared with and located within the bookstore. Free WiFi is available. The store is air conditioned. This is a big plus on a summer day. Via the bookstore, there are doors to both the mall and main parking lot. Hours are determined by the bookstore's hours as they share a common entrance. For a snack and a quiet moment, this cafe is an option.
