And something happened that has never happened to me before in a restaurant- I ordered the egg scramble with spinach, tomato and American cheese. When the food dropped the cheese wasn't added, but no big deal. About 5 minutes later Angela brought over a huge plate of scrambled eggs, spinach, tomato and American cheese! The chef realized he forgot the cheese, took it upon themselves to make a new order correctly! Who does that?! The coffee was delish, ambiance is comfy and so clean, service was great which made our breakfast so much better! Excited about a new breakfast place in Achushnet!

Cool decor and very clean and artsy funkie nautical. But what was the most annoying was being the only two at the bar with maybe two tables on the other side, one bartender and at least 9 others of the staff all hanging out standing at the end of the bar since no one had anything to do! Guess someone can't go and check bathrooms, cuz one was clogged and there was paper all over the place. On phones laughing loudly and having a great time while I sit waiting for another drink while feeling like I'm just being stared at by all the staff not doing anything. Maybe have a staff room out back!?!?! To not annoy paying customers Over priced for what it is. Trying to be something hipster and upscale. Had the chicken nachos. Good but I'm not sure worth the 20 bucks or whatever they were.

Frates Drive-In is an adorable roadside food stand that offers loads of food options for such a small venue. And for the biggest reason we chose The Pearl is the food. We have been restaurant patrons for many years. I always say ,"I haven't had a bad meal yet." It's still true. Not only are the event menu choices endless, they are very affordable too. Many of our guests were not accustom to Portuguese cuisine, but enjoyed the Chicken Mozambique and the Carne Assada and roasted potatoes. With some sides, a fresh salad, rolls and Grandmothers pudding, our guests left happy and satisfied, ready for the wedding the next day.
