The Birria Queen will have you dreaming about their food. Tasty, flavorful, seasoned, perfect amount of spicy and I could go on. It's a food truck nice waiting areas with games to keep you busy. The people are friendly and I'm salivating thinking about how good the taco and ramen were. I'm vegan and the texture of the jackfruit was meaty, it was juicy and full of flavor. Really cute location tucked back from the street and seating available if you care to eat there. If you haven't tried make sure you stop by while you're in Houston.

I'm not gonna hold ya'll but this birria slaps! Seriously, I didn't wanna even review bc ya'll might make the lines longer! I literally crave these tacos on a weekly basis. I order on the app before going to save myself some wait time. My go to order is the chicken birria tacos and nobody makes them better than the queen!

This is my second time here pulling up on THE BIRRIA QUEEN. She always polite and the food is hot and ohhhh sooooo good!!!! I dod the mix and chose two vegan birria and two shrimp. The vegan condiments just as good as the shrimp. I was dipping almost every bite. Flavor is their not salty or over spicy just a great blend I will be making this a regular stop. The menu also has Elotes and Quesadilla and glass bottle soda.

Came here off the recommendation of a friend and enjoyed it. Although it's just a food truck, it definitely packed some good food. I had the beef quesadilla and it was a good size. If I'm ever in the area I would go back to try some more.

I've heard a lot about the Birria Queen and have always been unable to make it. But today I was able to make it. I missed the location a couple of times but finally found it. I got there with about forty minutes before closing. I ordered the chicken quesadilla birria and the chicken ramen. My total was about $25 for both. Let's start with the quesadilla. They were good but nothing that really stood out. My ramen though. Still piping hot after being left out. It was delicious and so filling. My only gripe is I should've asked for no onions cause they were over powering. Overall I would definitely go back to try the different ramen they have.

Listen y'all... these tacos are IT! I grabbed the vegan tacos and babyyyy the way they season that jackfruit? Chef's kiss Pure heaven. Needless to say, they didn't even make it home. And don't get me started on that sauce--it's STRAIGHT FIRE. Big shoutout to Crystal, you did your thing! So proud of you!

One of those places that you might underestimate due to the advertising and hype but these were REALLY good birria quesadillas. Are they the most authentic? Probably not. Are they overly stuffed? Also no. But they're super tasty and their pressure sauce is great and even the consomé is very flavorful. They have a nice crunch and simplicity that makes it all work and probably makes them easier to make. With how much hype this place has, efficiency is key so I can't be mad at the size or simplicity. Pretty competitively priced compared to other popular birria spots in town, too.

The best birria around! The flavors, the sauces, the customer service, the environment, everything was a vibe! Definitely will be returning! My friend had the ramen & she loved it too.

The ambiance was great far a nice cool day. There ample outdoor seating and several tables with umbrellas. There are also games you can play like corn hole, and yard connect 4. The service was good. The young lady working in the trailer was friendly. She asked if it was our first time eating there (we said yes) and thanked us for trying out Birria Queen. The food came out quick and hot just the way I like it. We tried the beef quesadilla and that came out with a side of green salsa and consume. This was very delicious. The cheese was melted and the ratio of beef to cheese was just right. We dipped this in both sauces and it was amazing. The second plate was the choose 4. This option was very nice because it gave us the chance to try 2 different types of tacos. The first on I tried was the beef quesabirria. Like the quesadilla the ratio of meat and cheese was perfect and the flavor of the beef was savory and melted in your mouth. When you paired this with the green salsa and the consume it was fireworks. The chicken was equally as good. We finished this with the watermelon guava limeade. This was a great way to finish the meal. The only thing that would have made the limeade better was a hint of mint, but it was definitely a must when eating at Birria Queen. Overall I would highly recommend eating at Birria Queen. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food truck! Their birria is on par with the best places in the city! Be sure to check them out. They are in a makeshift parking lot with a bunch of other food trucks. Great spot to please everyone! Pro tip: also a great spot for Vegans. Their vegan birria also did not disappoint.

The service was great! They give you a little buzzer to let you know when your order is ready. The food was delicious! I actually ran into the owner at The BOOT and she asked us to stopped by and it is literally around the corner from me. So run don't walk and try this amazing food. While you wait there are plenty of games for you to play!! It's outdoorsy so be mindful of the sunny days we have in H-Town but a nice area to hang out when it's nice and cool!!

Allow me to be Review No. 1,100 following my visit to this wonderful culinary gem yesterday…read more By default, Spring Branch is Houston's Koreatown, but it's not unusual to find establishments with Spanish-language branding on them throughout the neighborhood. And Tacos Doña Lena, on which I'll heap tons of praise on, is among them. A group of friends and I had supper here before a live show down the street at Eighteen Ten Ojeman. Upon seeing the storefront when we pulled into the parking lot, my first thought was, "Okay, this is legit Mexican, not Tex-Mex." The interior is quite small with some tables and an ample late Saturday afternoon crowd. What caught my eye is how the environment is what you might expect to find at a family-run taqueria off the beaten path. Rock en Español blaring from the sound system. Colorful papel picado draped from the ceiling. A framed Mexican flag and several references to the central Mexican municipality of Guanajuato. The intoxicating smell of spice-laced grilled beef wafting through the air. Simply put, we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto. I glanced at the menu. There are numerous, delicious-sounding items that happen to be wallet-friendly, a bit cheaper than if you were to go to Gringos or Jimmy Changas. According to a mutual, the tacos here are the main draw, but what really caught my attention and appetite was the ramen birria. Mujeres y caballeros (ladies and gentlemen), let me proclaim that Tacos Doña Lena turns a noodle dish with origins in Japan and is a known staple in college dorm rooms into a must-try on this part of America's fourth-largest city. Two amazing food cultures unite for a fiery meeting of the minds. Anchored by a rich, tasty consomé that's spicy but not enough to where you need to drink multiple glasses of water, there's a prime mix of ramen noodle, beef birria, cheese, fried egg, rabanos, garbazo, and corn accompanied by cilantro, onions, and a pair of fried tostadas. I was so impressed with how the contents of the ramen blended together. Since it was ramen after all despite the south of the border touchup, I still ate it the traditional way: pick up the noodles and sip the soup. There was so much that I had no choice but to put it in a takeout container. Sure, Spring Branch may be home to some great traditional Korean restaurants, but don't sleep on Tacos Doña Lena.

One of my friends took me here and we all got to try a lot of stuff. We ordered: Horchata (small for $3.49), Quesadillas with beef, Quesadillas with chicharron, Gorditas with beef, and Gorditas with chicharron. I don't like cinnamon but the horchata was addicting and it paired so well with the food. My friend got their Melon Agua Fresca and he said it was really refreshing as well. The gorditas were stuffed and they were so delicious, the cheese was melting and the bread was warm and not dry. The Quesadillas were my favorite. You put both the red sauce and the green sauce on it, a lot of lime juice, and it's perfect. I forgot to order cilantro on mine but they do give you it at no extra cost. The prices are so cheap and you get so much food. Everything is around $3 and it will fill you up. Each of us totaled out to be about $10-15 per person and we were stuffed. I would definitely come back here over and over again! There's a parking lot, but we went on the weekend, and while the interior didn't look overly full, it was somewhat difficult to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is clean. Everything is pretty much green and white. There's covered patio seating. You can get beer, margaritas, and non-alcoholic drinks. There's also a breakfast menu The food was good, and it didn't take too long to come out. My main issue was the service. The individual taking orders seemed to have a bit of an attitude and just seemed "over it." Furthermore, we mentioned having a queso coupon and when we were given the total I placed my card on the reader and I was told that I did it too fast and the queso wasn't taken off. The odd thing was, we walked away and realized that they didn't add the queso and the coupon was for free queso so they could have just rung up an additional queso. This individual had the vibe of eye rolling everything, and it honestly left a bad taste in my mouth Some tips: You can order online to avoid any wait.
