I manage medical office buildings, and I hired Think Tacos for a tenant appreciation lunch event. They gave two menu options to keep things moving, either the Taco Plate or Birria Tacos. You could choose between 4 meat options for the taco plate (chicken, beef fajita, carnitas or pastor). They forgot to bring the vegetarian option that I requested, but were able to create a quesadilla on the fly, with onions, cilantro, cheese & sauce for my vegetarian guests. Now, I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time, and when I tell you that these were the best pastor tacos that have ever grazed my food chompers in this lifetime...babyyyyyy! Since I hosted the event, I also taste tested the birria tacos (for research purposes) and they were just as flavorful and delicious as a taco eating patron like myself could ever hope for. The absolute best part is that I only paid for what we ate! I didn't have to pay for a fixed number of people, we only paid for the number of people who were served. I haven't even tasted the food yet. I'm going strictly off of service. whoever the lady that is running the truck currently at Bayou on the Bend has bad energy she wasn't welcoming. I'm very big on service, without customer who are you as a business? I figured I was reading her energy wrong so I decided to give her a chance at the end to redeem her bad service in the beginning. I was coming home from work when I saw this taco truck parked at a coffee shop next to my apartment. Left side of the truck has all their menu items. It seems like they specialize in breakfast tacos. Tempting, but I was here for dinner so I had to stay on task. They had a pop up sign in front that described all the tacos and quesadillas in more details (sauces etc) I decided to go with the Chicken Quesadilla. It comes with a complimentary side of breakfast potatoes. WOW! It was awesome. If I see this truck driving around Houston, I might jump out of my car and flag it down. My go-to is egg and sausage with cheese, and sometimes I'll get an order of their Candi's potatoes which are really good too. Every Wednesday at The Black Hole Coffee Shop in my neighborhood, Think Tacos is parked out front. Every time I visit this truck for a to go order, I am always greeted by the SWEETEST people. I just finished a mixed plate of 5 Tacos loaded, for $9.50. My favorite was the meat coated in red spices with the smokey red salsa.
