What to get: life too short to order a Birria taco without cheese. I prefer the chicken over the beef, but either option comes with a delicious cup of consume. I frequently travel to LA so I've been spoiled with excellent tacos. For NJ, this was the best Birria taco I've had on the east coast. The broth is spicy but not overwhelming. The atmosphere is casual and unassuming. Prices are reasonable. A water, horchata, 8 tacos with cheese, and a street corn was 40 bucks- not bad. Speaking of street corn: we live in NJ and it is august, we have access to some of the best sweet corn. The elote was good but the corn wasn't the best. The same goes for their tres leches. It was good, but nothing to write home about. The churros on the other hand? Whoa. Stuffed churros? Sign me up. Strawberry, Bavarian, Dulce de leche, or regular. Freshly made and the regular ones are served with chocolate and cinnamon dipping sauces. Who doesn't like fresh churros. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant. They also deliver via Doordash and other apps. I'm not sure how the Birria tacos would taste if not piping hot, but coming into the restaurant and having them fresh off the griddle? Totally worth it. read more

Quanit place, food was good. Service was friendly. I'd go back to this byob establishment.

Place is clean and has great space. Staff are welcoming and efficient. The food is so tasty! Highly recommend that loaded quesadilla!!

Really good. While the tacos are great to take out, it's amazing when you eat in. Coupled with the Tres Leche and a Topo Chico I'm smiling ear to ear. read more

Really good Birria Tacos! I'm a New York City gal with that being said these are delicious freshly made with a nice crisp to the taco not soggy like most places and the tres leches cake is a must so delicious and moist it's a bit pricey but it's worth every penny! read more

my go to birria taco place!!! quite literally in love with this place, their food and the amazing people!! great selection of beverages to go with the amazing food they serve! read more

The place is new, clean and well lit. The cashier was pleasant. The food on the other hand, lacked flavor. The beef birria was nice and tender, but lacked seasoning. Here is a suggestion, adding cheese will provide you with a little more salt (which the birria lacked), however, it just didn't hit the spot. Not impressed and won't be back!! read more

Delicious, fast service. Parking is awful in a "blink and you miss it" strip mall that runs perpendicular to Talmadge. Industrial area. Bring cash, there's an upcharge for credit/debit (not a fan of this practice). read more

Love love love...the consome was simply delicious. I wish there was meat in it but no and the tacos were pretty small but boy were they good. I highly recommend this place for some authentic tacos read more

This is a new place that just opened up, but the type of tacos they bring to the table are great! So basically, a Birria taco has meat (could be chicken or beef) that is stewed with spices until very tender. The consome that is used to dip your tacos in is the remaining stew after removing the meat out from the stew. Just from that you know there will be a lot of flavor. The tacos and the consome compliment each other very well. We tried a chicken combo and tried the guava juice drink that they serve (just a heads up, no refills on that one!) - both were great! The guava punch they serve is very refreshing and goes well with the meal. This is a walk up to the counter type of place, and they make the food to order. Once the order is ready you can pick it up from the counter. On its own the consome could use a little salt (or a squeeze of the lime that they provide) to get the full flavor from it. But paired with the tacos - definitely a match made in heaven - no salt needed. This is a small place with limited seating, but definitely worth a try! Oh and the consome comes with the combos but not when individual tacos are ordered! read more

I only ever seen these kind of tacos on Instagram, my chicken tacos were very good, can't wait to go back and try the street corn .

Great food. Only complaint is the prices. 4 tacos were so good thst i could have ate another 8 of them but i didnt want to pay the expensive price for another 4. I feel they should atleast Give 5-6 tacos for the price. Very good food but a little overpriced and doesnt fill me up for the portion read more

Tried this for the first time. Got 3 beef combos and two Cheeto corn. Amazing food and the consumme I could drink it's so tasty. Highly recommend you try this place out if you haven't already. It's a little pricey but delicious!! read more

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. The birria tacos are so fresh, and the consomme for dipping is delicious and not as salty as some other birria consommes we have tried. I enjoyed the fresh cilantro in it also. The fountain and soft drink selection has alot of options. The tres leches cake and the made to order churros are the perfect end to the meal. It is such a tasty option for a super casual and quick meal. My family will definitely be back. The service was also super friendly. read more

My family was 50/50 in liking this place. My youngest and I liked the tacos but I wife and eldest didn't care for it much. However, we all agreed on the Birria fries! It was very good! I'd come here and just order that. Dessert churros were also ok. read more

I've never experienced Birria Tacos before and this was a good introduction. The tacos are flavorful and a great size. Stuffed with cilantro, beef, onions! The shell is soft yet crispy at the same time. The consume is good. I wish it had a bit more seasoning. I'm not a connoisseur so I'm not sure if this is how it taste traditionally. It is good nonetheless. The hibiscus water is bomb! I get it every time I go. The staff is friendly. I would def came back. Make sure you order before or after the rush because they do it get busy. read more

¡Muy delicioso! My boyfriend and I ordered the beef/cheese, chicken/cheese, and churros with chocolate sauce on the side for delivery last night. It was our anniversary but we had to postpone the celebration to this weekend and order in because we were busy all day (grad life). He is not terribly picky but not an adventurous eater either; I was nervous that he would not like the food I chose for our "special day." I was wrong! He kept raving about how good it was and how we need to order from your restaurant again! He also said he thought he hated cinnamon until he tried your churros and it changed his mind. Of course, I enjoyed everything, especially the beef/cheese tacos, but what I enjoyed the most was how much my boyfriend enjoyed the food. In regards to the chocolate sauce that I ordered either the churros, I personally enjoyed the original sauce better, but that is my personal preference. Thank you so much for your amazing food! Will definitely order again. :) read more

Screw the birria ! The BEST ELOTESSSSSS I've ever had. I drive 35 mins from Jersey City just for the elotes that's how good they are very cheesy. The Birria is good too : ) read more

They tasted ok. But for $5 a taco that are smaller than the ones you make at home? No Thank you. I've had better birria tacos.

Excellent food and the service was amazing. I will certainly recommend this place for a Friday or Saturday dinner.

I was really excited to try this place out being a taco lover. It was super busy so I took that as a good sign! Their agua fescas were sooo good! They also had homemade candy that was delicious. their elote was also great. I also had a torta super delicious. But their birria was just okay. Wasn't bad but I expected more from it being as though thats what is supposed to be their selling point. Along with their birria ramen.., just okay. I also believe their overpriced. It would be a good experience for someone not used to spectacular birria read more

Have seen the birria tacos craze online but hadn't tried it before. Tried the chicken tacos from here. So good! A little on the messy side as I kept dropping the tacos into the sauce, but I think that's part of the enjoyable experience. Well be back when I'm in the mood for tacos! read more

Had the $12 chicken and $14 beef w/cheese taco combos, for a combo it was underwhelming. The 4 tacos were small just a slab of meat with onions/cilantro and comes with a watery soup for dipping that barely had any flavor. read more

The food was great, and the workers are nice. Get your birrias before this place blows up and the lines out the door!

When I tell y'all this is the best birria tacos I've ever had. I had 20 minute drive home but I wanted to eat them hot so I went to the nearest parking lot and ate them. And let me tell ya, I had to sit in silence after that first bite. It was an exquisite experience. read more

The food was great!!! The birria Tacos where exceptionally good. I wasn't crazy about the horchata. I've had better. I drove all the way from ocean nj to try the food. I will go back read more

The place was really cute. The food was ok to be honest. If you're a POC, you'll feel like something is missing. The food LOOKED good but the taste was SO bland. There's definitely better out there. If you're white, you'll probably like this different and cultured food, it's not spicy at all. read more

I've been here twice already and oh my god it's amazing!!! Definitely would recommend the Birria tacos, elote with hot Cheetos, and the churros. I would give them 5 stars but during my second experience there, the elote lacked all the flavor I enjoyed my first time around and it is a little pricey. Overall, amazing food. read more
