Visited The Binc as a party of three and shared the salmon poke, mac and cheese, artichoke hearts, baby beets, and calamari. The five small plates were large enough to satisfy our appetite and each plate was tasty. We particularly enjoyed the artichoke hearts and the mac and cheese, especially since they removed/put the pork on the side, and we liked the happy hour cocktails, $8 each. Definitely worth a visit if you're near Brooklyn heights/dumbo/Clinton hill/vinegar hill. read more

Clean and classy environment. I really enjoyed my visit and the bartender was super sweet.

Do you happen to be in beautiful Brooklyn Heights and are looking for an awesome vibe, great atmosphere, and a friendly bartender? Look no further than The Binc. My husband and I have become regular patrons of this wonderful establishment. They have an incredible menu with delicious cocktails that will leave you wanting to try the entire menu. And if you're looking for something completely unique, Jonathan or Tom will craft you a concoction that will leave your senses tingling. Great tapas selection to curb any snack desires. Highly recommended. You will most certainly not be disappointed. read more

The pastrami aged tacos were excellent. The drinks too shelf liquor, however the ginger over powered the alcohol in my drink. read more

The Binc - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Took a few out of town friends to visit Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Promenade. Came here to grab a bite and some drinks afterwards. I got a Manhattan, it tasted very good and strong. The ladies ordered a specialty Binc Bowl, it had a beautiful presentation as well as taste. Not too sweet, not too strong. Food was on point as well: truffle fries, meat and cheese plates, also got an order of the salmon poke. read more

Great bar with pretty tasty cocktails and tapas but SUPER busy. It's right by the Brooklyn Bridge Park, so a good date spot before a or after a day / night at the park. I recommend if you're near this area! read more

Went in with the wife and received amazing service from the single waiter, even though the place was jammed packed. Cocktails were amazing and you have to have their burger. Juicy and super tasty. read more

Lovely little bar! It's perfectly cozy with dim lighting and friendly service. Our party of three shared a charcuterie board and a great bottle of prosecco for a decadent late night treat. Would go back for another relaxing, low-key night. read more

Awesome service! One waiter and an awesome bartender ran the entire place. Outdoor seating was perfect on a brisk night. Food was outstanding and the drinks matched! read more

sexy venue and mean drink selection but the food options are kind of lacking ESPECIALLY given that this is the little runt sister to bevacco! how could they not share even a handful of the same italian treasures from next store?? sampled the brussel sprout and tacos- wasn't all that impressed. would come back in a heartbeat BUT might consider eating elsewhere read more

Great atmosphere, service and food! Loved it, we had great service by Mikaela and Fraser along with super yummy food!! The music was perfect too, easy to listen to and still talk with friends!! A must go to in Brooklyn!! read more

The Binc - Meat & cheese board with artichokes - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

This is exactly the kind of place you think it is. Great cocktails, good looking space, precious and a little too pricey food, one server on the hustle, a little too cramped, and a little too noisey. Great for a date or first drink but not a prolonged hang. read more

I met an acquaintance for a drink here. We both ordered beers from the happy hour menu and shared a plate of truffle fries. I'm surprised to hear complaints about the fries because mine were perfect and delicious. The ambiance is perfect for a date and is quite charming. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. They asked a few times if we wanted more drinks without being pushy. They consistently refilled our water glasses without any prompting. Overall, my first experience here was pretty good. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying a different drink and bite to eat. read more

Beautiful place, cozy and nice! Food was delicious and service is great! Thank you for the awesome evening! Will be back again!

Return? Maybe if in the area, but not a destination Atmosphere (3) French cafe-ish, marble bar/tables, a little dark Food (2) - beets (3 smokey), pastrami taco (4), poke (3.5 - wife liked it but too fishy for my taste). Drinks: $15 martini, $11 glass of wine Service (3) Friendly Cost = Total tab w/ 2 drinks before tax/tip typically $72 read more

Cool atmosphere and great, unique cocktails. Good music, decor/lighting, crowd. It's loud but you can still have a conversation

I love everything about The Binc -- creative, tasty cocktails, delicious food, professional service and a welcoming vibe. Also, the lighting is great; it's very romantic and sexy and slightly Miami-esque. Look closely for fun Tiki gear sprinkled around the bar and ask your bartender for a Tiki special drink -- that's what I always get and they make some really delicious concoctions. Bring friends, bring your mom, bring a date! read more

Amazing cocktails. Deviations from the classics. The perfect neighborhood bar that is not quite a neighborhood bar. Makes me want to move to the area. Love the decor and ambiance. Intimate without being stuffy. Good job. read more

Just arrived in Brooklyn this afternoon and was planning our night. Just wanted dinner, maybe a drink, and then go back and rest up. Had pizza at Julianas (really good) and picked this bar on the way back because it was close to our hotel and had some good yelp reviews, even though there were only six total reviews. Coming here ended up being the best decision of the day. The establishment opened pretty recently, so it was a pretty slow Tuesday night there, but that made the experience that much better. Our bartender, Jonathan, was the most amazing ever. The menu had some interesting cocktails, but it also had the option to have the bartender make one for you. This is where Jonathan shines. He talks you through what your preferences are, such as alcohol type, strength, and flavors. From there he concocts a custom made drink based on your preferences. Not only were the drinks amazing, he was also really friendly and both passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. My fiancee and I ended up staying there a couple hours more than we originally planned, just conversing with Jonathan and a few other patrons, and having him come up with a variety of unique drinks. Not sure why this place has so few reviews but there needs to be more bars like this, and i wish it were in my hometown of LA. If and when we are ever back in Brooklyn again we will be sure to visit this gem. read more

LOVE this bar. Super cute inside. Bartender so friendly and attentive and the cocktails are amazing!! And strong!! I had the FALL OF ROEBLING delicious! And my friend had an old fashioned which was also v good. I see this becoming my local. read more

Great cocktail bar in Brooklyn Heights. Our bartender Peter was amazing! it was crowded for a Monday which already says a lot about this place. The cocktails were delicious, the service was great. Haven't tried the food here yet but I'll be coming back to check those items out. read more

I have a feeling this is going to become my favorite cocktail bar because then I can say, "I had to much to drink at The Binc I think." This in itself is reason enough to go there, but there are any other redeeming qualities as well. The antique/hipster decor and gentle lighting make for a relaxed and intimate setting. The drinks themselves are excellent, I tried a couple of them that featured champagne. The crowd is all ages, shapes and sizes, but everyone there is very friendly. I will certainly be back read more

Very cool place with even better food. We had most of the things on their menu and were wowed. Excellent kitchen

I've only tried the cocktails so this review is for that. I've been twice. I had a stirred, boozy drink and a shaken one. Both were balenced, though nothing incredible. I enjoyed the stirred one the most. However, I took a star off due to the happy hour. Now according to the sign it was buy 2, second drink half off. However the bartender says it is buy 2 drinks get second drink 2 dollars off. He repeated it twice. Now maybe he just got confused. Still if it's on the sign that is outside you would think he would know. I didn't like that. Especially since it was 10 minutes before happy hour ended. So overall I'll give them another try but if you go there for happy hour make sure you ask. Don't just believe the sign. read more

A beautiful little gem that is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. BK Heights is lacking in good cocktail bars and this place is comfortable, romantic, never too crowded, with wonderful drinks. I love coming here on a low-key evening as it's just a few blocks away and never disappoints. read more

The drinks are truly delicious and change every season. I tend to get the cheese board and charcuterie, both of which are delicious. It's a must needed addition to the neighborhood and a great spot for a small group to catch up over drinks. read more

Love this place, especially for happy hour! Great deals, delicious wines and appetizers, great vibe (especially for couples or girlfriend meet-up) and awesome bartender. It's a great neighborhood staple that my husband and I have visited on multiple occasions. read more

A nicely varied cocktail menu and a bar tender enthusiastic about going off menu - and Thomas delivered when asked to do so. The vibe was classic cocktail bar, blending well into the neighborhood, for those tired of the speakeasy trope and just in the mood for a good drink. read more

Really cool place. Table seating for maybe 20-30 people. Lots of room at the bar and store front window area. Nice place to grab some light food and drinks after work or for a date. Will definitely be returning ! read more

Lovely atmosphere. Buratta is to die for. Staff was so friendly had such a great time.

Used to be my favorite cocktail bar. Impeccable drinks, fine menu, memorable bartenders, low lighting, subtle music, perfect decor. Then, music so loud you could hear it on the street. Every conversation was shouted to be heard above the others. Normally, we 'd have a few drinks, but it was pointless. One and done. The artichoke hearts with speck are still something else. read more

I've been in New York two nights and have gone both nights. Flank steak the first night was excellent. Burger the second night was just as good. read more

This place honestly was nothing special when it comes to the food. Had the burger and something that tasted like gnocchi and both were pretty bland tasting. Not bad but nothing to come back too. Beer was good and they had great cocktails so I'd say I would rate it a 3 for food and a 4-4.5 for drinks. read more

Ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff, nice ambience, and the food was much better than it needed to be. Great happy hour deal. Mushroom flatbread and wings on point. read more

This place just opened up in Brooklyn Heights after schisming with the Italian restaurant next door making this bar small and intimate. I think its an improvement for both venues size and ambiance wise. My boyfriend and I had drinks here a few weeks ago and were pretty impressed with them. My boyfriend got the Lady Jane and I got the Ides of March (both seasonal cocktails) and they were very strong but very tasty. The bartenders are friendly and they offered us a shot of a new cocktail they were working on. We didn't have any of the small bites but if its anything like it was at Bevacco's bar, their cheese plate is amazing. We will be back for more drinks and snacks in the near future. The only thing that I felt was lacking (as a wine lover) was a variety of wines by the glass but they are trying to be a mainly cocktail bar so I understand. read more

Great bar, with even better bartenders! This is the perfect bar to grab a classy drink and quality food without all of the pretentious nonsense that other NYC haunts make you endure. Drink mixer extraordinaire Richard not only concocts a mean cocktail, but he is a total delight - he is hilarious, but also has a natural gift for anticipating his guests' needs/wants. read more
