After being gifted a kids bike from Walmart, my husband assembled it, but it wasn't quite right and…read morewe couldn't figure out why. Took it to Tim's, and the staff was super friendly. For a reasonable price, they looked it over and found the problem--a missing brake pad, and had it ready to go in just a couple hours. Thank you!

I have been wearing Five Ten Kestrel BOA Mountain Bike Shoes for a few years now. I've worn out my…read morecurrent shoes and ordered a new pair online at Tim's Bike Shop. The cost was $195 with free shipping, the same price I paid the last three times I purchased these shoes from other retailers. Only this time, as I was making the online purchase, I was notified there would be a surcharge of $20 for the item being 'oversized'? I couldn't find my size (13) anywhere else and made the purchase. When they arrived, I called Tim's Bike Shop and asked them what exactly was oversized. Was it the shoes, the box the shoes were shipping in, what? I was told it was the box the shoes were shipped in. I said I have purchased these same shoes in the same size in the same size box four times and this was the first time I was charged an additional $20 for the item being oversized. I asked for a $20 refund. They refused. I told them I planned to write a negative review on their shop because it seems like they were merely trying to recover the free shipping charges with a $20 surcharge. Tim's has a return policy, and I will leave the shoes in the box and search for another seller who has my size and agrees to sell the shoes for $195, with free shipping and no $20 charge for oversized item. If I find them elsewhere, I will return these shoes to Tim's.

I took my daughter's hardtail bike in today and shout out to the repair/service department!…read more I'll just show one pic and IYKYK, cause good mechanics are hard to find and the details matter!! Positive vibes, positive vibes, positive vibes!

I had a disappointing experience with customer service at Fanatik Bike, specifically with a…read morerepresentative named Sam. I recently purchased a helmet and thought I had already signed up for the welcome discount code. After I completed my order and looked at my receipt, I realized the discount hadn't been applied. My first thought was, "Oh shoot, I forgot to enter the code." That also made me wonder whether I had actually completed the sign-up, so I immediately signed up for the welcome offer. I looked for an option to cancel and reorder my purchase, but there wasn't one available. Since I acted right away, I reached out through the chat to see if the discount could be applied or if there was another solution. Sam responded by email and simply stated that the discount couldn't be applied retroactively. While I understand that companies have policies, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or effort to help. I wasn't trying to misuse the promotion--I made an honest mistake and contacted customer service almost immediately after placing my order. Life gets busy, and sometimes things slip through the cracks. I was juggling personal and family responsibilities at the time, and I simply forgot to enter the code before checking out. I was hoping for a little understanding and customer-focused service, especially as someone trying to make my first purchase with the company. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority in this situation. A small gesture of goodwill or a more empathetic response would have gone a long way.
