They melt in your mouth and have you craving more. Even my 12 month old enjoyed it lol the chicken and sage sausage is like nothing I've ever tried, so savory and juicy. I can't wait to go back soon. Beautiful scenery and delicious food. You can't beat that.

I made a takeout order and got the crab cake omelette (w/ a biscuit) $18.29, legendary scone: Blueberry $3, single blueberry pancake $2.89, single maple bacon pancake $2.89, and single cinnamon roll pancake $2.89. - The crab cake omelet was my 2nd favorite as they surprisingly didn't skimp on the crab additions. The biscuit was just alright, but luckily it's best once combined with omlette to make a good sandwich. - The blueberry scone was probably my favorite, as it was pretty good. It was moist, fresh, and well done. - The trifecta of pancakes ranged from just okay to decent, and my ranking would go blueberry, maple bacon, and then cinnamon roll. For some odd reason, the texture of the cinnamon roll pancake was notably inferior to the other 2. Overall, my experience was quite a good one due to the scone and crab omelet delivering the most. -- #issa.cheatday

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

The play on sweet and savory is just so comforting. I also had the apple cinnamon butter muffin and the muffin top was insanely delicious. The crumble on top of the apple butter was gluttony. I beleive they rotate their muffins regularly which I appreciate. I've had their raspberry matcha in the summer which I remember tasted so fresh on a hot day. And I recently had their 5 spice latte which was a great balance of spice and sweet. Overall, I honestly would consider moving to the area just to live next to this cafe not being dramatic at all.

Overflow Cafe is 1 of my 20 favorite non-chain restaurants…read more This is one of the many local restaurants that I love for the concept but a lot more than that. The place is a ministry of sorts, as it's like the food version of a Christian Store, but less Bible thumpy, or as a paraphrase of their slogan says, "spreading the gospel through hospitality and love." How is this relevant to someone who doesn't want to go to a Christian restaurant? Very! You'll see Christian decor, and the "owner" (he hates titles, but he DID found the place) is a reverend, but they won't be preaching to you unless you ask of it. The best part restaurant-wise is that almost all funds for the place come from church offering, and the workers are volunteers, so you are basically paying for the food and nothing else. In other words, the food is worth half of what you're paying for! I got the most expensive sandwich, the Overflow Club, with pasta salad and a sweet tea all for about $9! On top of that, although a smaller server than I'd like (I got 2 of those cups) the pasta salad was the best pasta salad I've had in a while. While all surrounding restaurants will charge at least twice the price, Overflow Cafe supports the neighborhood with many different phenomenal events, cheaper price, and fantastic hospitality not ot mention great art! If you ever in Cambridge, go to 400 Muir Street for this experience. It's only coincidental that my journal (to the right of the table) is very fitting for this place haha.

Located in the shopping center with Woodside Deli and Gold Gym this place is too cute for Gaithersburg. It barely has a social media presence but it is so photogenic it needs to be more popular. The pastries here are mostly animal shaped. Thus the adorable part. I ordered the following: -Bear shaped cocoa cream puff -minion cakesicle -hello kitty macaron -croque monsuier -basque cheesecake -a ridiculously cute frog cake -brown sugar milk tea Everything tasted as good as it looked. The cream puff had a whipped frosting and a light mousse filling. The savory croque hit the spot when surrounded by sweets. The cake omg could devoured in one sitting by one person. Light cream and filled with strawberries. The pastries here are so light that they almost feel strangely healthy and don't leave you feeling heavy. The bubble tea however, was a little sweet. I would've very much preferred if we had a choice of how sweet it could be but otherwise it's really good. The service is friendly. There's a few tables to sit down and hang out at. I can't wait to come back here and get the tiramisu.

Super cute and welcoming coffee spot that offers incredible drinks and delicious bakery options…read more They are located in an older building in downtown Havre de Grace. They are redoing the street so it is currently blocked off. Even if you park on a different street, it isn't a problem to walk to the coffee shop. You can appreciate the historic charm from your first step in. They have a coffee bar with tables, as well as an extended side that has ample seating and table. It is a very inviting space where you can sit for a spell and enjoy your coffee or work. It's also a fabulous spot to sit with fiends to catch up. They do sell local art and other cute finds throughout their lovely shop. They do have a little area outside that you can sit as well. And even a bench area beside the building. The staff is lovely. Super friendly and very efficient at allowing you to get your order quickly. There is an interactive post it display while waiting for your order. The drinks were fantastic and the menu is extensive. The Americano was absolutely delicious!! Tons of syrup options and various creamer options. The bakery options are delicious and they even have gluten free. They do have a cold case of drink options and even local ice cream. For sure worth a stop if you are in the area. I would even go out of your way to visit this gem of a place. A terrific spot if you are looking to do some work or just chill and relax. But, most importantly they make fantastic drinks!!! Don't skip on this one.
