Been in a couple of times. Not a big menu selection. Service is typical for the Ogden area, not bad, not exceptional. Today, they were out of most menu items, so I ended up with eggs, strange flat/square sausage with a nasty hair underneath. We were able to sit at a table immediately on a Farmer's Market Saturday late morning (around 11AM), but after ordering we had to wait almost an hour for our food. I didn't expect fast service on a busy Saturday, but this was very slow... beyond slow. So slow in fact, that a couple other patrons almost left because they were done waiting. You could tell our waitress was frazzled and felt bad over it. And you could hear the cooks in the back saying they were moving as fast as they could. However, then the food showed up... which didn't wow me at all. I can easily replicate the breakfast at home without a lot of effort. I got the egg in the hole breakfast bagel and added apple sausage. It was okay, but definitely not worth what I paid for it and definitely not worth waiting an hour for. My boyfriends scramble was also okay, but he wasn't overly impressed either. This place does offer up some healthy, traditional food. Had a somewhat disappointing experience a few months back --- the staff was openly discussing why they wanted to move to a different employer. Decided to give it another chance because their outdoor patio is a comfortable option. Amazing little brunch spot in Ogden. Everything is fresh and local. And the ladies that are running at her pretty awesome. I definitely recommend you stopping here if you're from out of town or if you're local and you need somewhere else to go if all of the other restaurants are busy in town. Went here on a whim since the place we wanted to eat at was full for breakfast. They have backyard seating so we sat outside since the inside was full. Food was decent, I got the French toast sandwich which was pretty good, my boyfriend who was vegetarian got the herb egg & spinach scramble sandwich which he also liked. A few members of our party got the breakfast burrito and absolutely hated it. It was mostly egg and without flavor. This place is good, but isn't great. I'm giving the breakfast burrito a 1 star. It has nothing to it, just egg and cheese with peppers. It is not good. You can add bacon for almost $4 extra (rip off). Lost my business and got me bickering to everyone about there crap overpriced meatless potato-less breakfast burrito with no sauce inside (on the side). I had to do the work to make it have any taste. Please do not get the burrito it is a waste of money and do not let the 4 and 5 stars that say it is good fool you (I think I saw 6 reviews say 4 or 5 stars). We recently moved into town and The Bickering Sisters was one of the first breakfast restaurants that popped up on Yelp. We decided to try it out and glad we did. Erin, our waitress was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. Food is pretty dang good and reasonably priced. The ambiance is okay. Tables and chairs are outdated which makes the place feel cheap even though it's a better much restaurant than it looks. read more

After staying overnight at my Brother's house near Weber State we decided to grab some brunch on the way out of town. The parking was really easy. We parked on the Main Street that it was next to and then walked over. The interior was pretty plain and outdated but this didn't deter me, the food is what matters most. The waitress was very attentive and immediately brought menus and asked for our drinks. I ordered a coke. One of the things I didn't like was that the coke was brought out in a 12 oz bottle and there obviously weren't any refills. This was written on the menu, but I just never thought to check it. I feel like if I am going to pay $1.50 for a drink I normally want refills though. The menu consisted mostly of sandwiches. I initially was going to get a breakfast sandwich, but then I saw that the lunch sandwiches came with an option of spicy Thai slaw. I got a BLT with avocado and a slide of spicy slaw. I was impressed by the sandwich, it was really good. I didn't love the slaw. It was a little too bitter for me. My wife loved her food. Would have given it five stars if not for the disappointment of the slaw and the lack of drink refills. Our meal was around $25 for two after tip and we got plenty of food for the price. In the future I would not get the slaw and get a water instead and that would most likely result in a five star experience. Definitely worth the visit! read more

GC are my absolute favorite of all time and this place does it RIGHT. It's as if a unicorn married a faerie and they made GC together. Ok. Enough if the GC. The chicken salad was really really good as well. Super fresh, as if they had made it when I ordered. I detest raw onions, and celery and I broke up a looooong time ago. This chicken salad had both, I swear I wanted to lick the plate. Why 4 stars? I'm very particular about walking out smelling like food. This place is in a super ikd building, so I'm not sure what they may have been allowed to do about venting, but I walked out smelling like that GC which made me want to go back and get another. My first visit was great! Second visit terrible. I was hesitant that the meal would taste too healthy (meaning bland), but first visit proved me wrong. Second visit proved me right. Actually it was the terrible server who didn't know anything about any of the menu items and had to keep going back to the kitchen to ask someone else. Eventually the guy who refills drinks was more helpful and attentive than our server. The meals were all overpriced and just ok in flavor. We all ordered different things. It was embarrassing considering how much I bragged about how great this place was to visiting family members. It was completely disappointing except for Sean the drink replenisher who made chit chat with customers to help make them feel welcomed. Kudos to him. My first experience may have been a better one because two of the three sisters were present. The second time only an Asian girl who stayed behind behind the counter, and the two I mentioned were present to serve. The Asian girl didn't seem interested in helping customers except to point to seats and tell the new server what to do. One other thing that needs attention is the ventilation system inside. We wanted to sit outside in the patio area but no tables were available. We stayed inside until we couldn't take the suffocating thick smell of oil, various foods cooking and it being so hot in that room. Installing a ceiling fan would be very helpful to keep air circulating or putting a screen door so some ventilation exists, especially when it's busy. Will I come back again? I'm sad to say I will not. Will I recommend for people to come eat here, probably not--at least not without caveats. read more

I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Ogden Utah. There were advertisements and pamphlets everywhere about this mom-and-pop breakfast spot called The Bickering Sisters. I knew I had the next morning off so I decided to take the half mile walk over there. It's right off one of the side streets to a main road so it's in the middle of town. I walked there so I'm not positive about parking, however I do believe there is street parking available and also additional parking lots for free in the back. I was surprised when I walked in at how small the place was. Luckily, it was a little bit after the breakfast rush and I was able to be seated right away. Also, I was alone so I think that helped expedite it. I'm not sure if they take reservations but if you plan to go during a rush I would. I was greeted right away with coffee, my favorite. They obviously know what they're doing there :-) I just decided to go with the simple two egg breakfast with meat & fruit. They had delicious multigrain toast that they serve with whipped butter and also homemade jam. The coffee was pretty good, probably one step above diner coffee. Also, the food was delicious. What I liked the most about it (see photo) was the presentation of everything. The food came out very fast. I'd say it wasn't even 10 minutes before I was served. Also, I did have a lot of work to do and they had Wi-Fi available for anyone who wanted to sit and eat, and work. read more

This cute little place is nestled in downtown Ogden. It gets busy, so finding a table to fit a large party might be an issue. Luckily we were only 2, and we found a small table on the outside patio. They seemed a little frantic waiting on tables, there doesn't seem to be a system in place; all the servers serve on all the tables. We were helped immediately and ordered OJ, coffee and banana bread. The bread was very dense and wasn't as rich as I'd hoped it to be, but it was still good. For breakfast I ordered the egg, avocado, tomato and cheddar bagel. The bagel was absolutely delicious-Perfectly buttery and the eggs were soft and fluffy. We did notice another table get up and leave after not being helped. I can see how there would be gaps in service. Overall had a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back again. read more
