We had the West Coast Toast and the Sweet Slice both delicious. The Mango go crazy was just okay, I drank it, though. Both were large portions with a lot of stuff on them. I'm definitely coming by again when in town. read more

Decided to give a try in person vs ordering this time and they didn't have any juice because they are juicing today? I'm happy they are busy but I drove out of my way to get juice from a JUICE bar :/ I didn't expect them to be out. I will have to try my luck somewhere else going forward after two weird experiences. Maybe just bad luck. read more

My daughter and I stumbled across this restaurant while in RVA this summer! This is definitely a hidden gem for anyone who cares about what they are putting inside of them! I wasn't able to get the name of the young lady who helped me today because it is hard to shop for myself with my 8 year old daughter. Nonetheless, I am giving a 5/5 for food, service and location. We were able to sample a vegan chocolate chip cookie and my customer service advisor also allowed me to sample a sea-moss shot before purchasing a jar. My daughters favorite part was the exterior. Thank you for all of your help today. We will return! read more

Very delicious smoothie place on West Cary street. I tried the special of the day, which was Better than Cookie Dough smoothie- it was very sweet and filling, and I was happy that it was packed with protein. The staffers were very nice, and it didn't take too long to get out smoothies even though they were fairly busy. read more

The best juice bar in Richmond! Not only is the service consistently on point, but so is everything on their menu! I usually get one of their smoothie bowls. The Acai Me is my favorite, but I substitute chocolate chips instead of the coconut flakes. The Dragon Queen is my second favorite and its just as delicious. You can't leave here without trying their avocado toast. I usually do a combination of their West Coast and GOAT -- with red onions, tomatoes, olive oil, sprouts, and everything bagel seasoning on top. If you're looking for healthy feel-good food, this is your spot! read more

This is the perfect spot to grab a healthy, vegan smoothie. I stopped here and tried a "Hella Good" smoothie (that's a name not a description lol) although it really is hella good. it has strawberry, mango, lemon, ginger, monk fruit and apple in it. The cup is a nice size and the tastes were spot on. I will definitely come back to try another one. read more

The ambiance of this shop is very soothing! I've never had avocado toast so I gave the west coast toast a try. I also got the re-up shot that contains turmeric ginger lemon and coconut water. What a nice surprise! On Labor Day MANY businesses were closed but we found a gem! The Acai bowls were BiG and FREsH and delicious! This Teriyaki Wrap was also HUGE and amazing! The Avocado toast was also delish with plenty of avocado! There were only 2 people working and I know they were swamped trying to keep up with our large order (7 people) AND other customers orders.... But the quality was great! HIGHLY recommend! read more

I stopped in here the other day because it was hot outside and I couldn't resist a smoothie. I've passed this place a ton on the way to Roastology for coffee. I don't love Smoothie King or Tropical Smoothie because their smoothies taste like they are packed with sugar. I was pleased to see that all of these smoothies in front of me seemed more natural. I also had eaten beets the other night, so they were on the brain. I got two spirulina smoothies because I love pineapple, and I thought my boyfriend would like that the most. OH MY GOD. They were absolutely delicious. Honestly, it tasted like a milkshake. Knowing I was doing something good for my body made me slurp the whole thing down. When I gave my boyfriend his smoothie, he had a taste and put it to the side saying he was going to drink it later. I wasn't going to let an almost 9-dollar smoothie go to waste so I stuck it in the freezer and had it the other night. Yum. This place is expensive but it's a treat worth having once in a while because it's delicious and it's healthy. Also, they are super friendly. Win-win! Beets other smoothie chains! See what I did there? read more

ALMOST BROKE A TOOTH!!! The location was an eye catcher from when I first approached. Well decorated, had a hip hop, new school, earthy, bohemian vibe. I was greeted by a friendly lady who was able to assist me in a short time. They had a lot to offer on their menu but I was on a hunt for an acai bowl. I ordered their "Acai Me" bowl, and added peanut butter drizzle and chocolate chips. The base of the bowl itself was tasty, the fruit was fresh and sweet, the chocolate chips and peanut butter took it over the top. BUT the granola was so unbearably crunchy that I almost broke a tooth!! The granola is a MUST for acai bowls for me, it adds that nutty earthy crunch (that isn't supposed to break a tooth) but I couldn't even eat half of the bowl... that I paid $21 for and Im pretty upset about the whole situation honestly. Most likely will not be coming here again, at least for the acai bowl. read more

I'm totally "rooting" for this funky, hip, colorful health food store just past Carytown, heading downtown. The building itself just screams fun and makes you want to enter!! I enjoyed my first visit so much, that I had to go back for round two! But this is more than a smoothie shop, although to me, the smoothies/smoothie bowls are the main event! They also do classic juices that will make your feel energized, juice shots to perk up your system, boost your immune system, and help you detox! Or if you'd like something to sink your teeth into, try the toasts... avocado, almond butter with fruit... whatever your fancy! Whatever you choose, your body and mind will thank you! The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, and there's an all around positive vibe here! You may pay a few more cents at this eatery/drinkery, but the quality can't be beet! read more

The Beet Box - A REAL SMOOTHIE - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

So I haven't been the *healthiest* during the pandemic, so this place was a breath of fresh air in more ways than one! First, I absolutely love the store front - what a work of art! The interior is just as lovely as the exterior. Second, the food is GREAT! If you are looking for something light yet filling and incredibly fresh with an ideal blend of flavors, this is it! They have several cold food options, which would be perfect for summer, so when I was making my selections on a particularly balmy day I had to get creative. Luckily they had posted their soup of the week on their Instagram. I thought the combination of Wild Rice & Mushroom soup with avocado toast (G.O.A.T) would be weird, but it was delicious! The soup was good and filling, and the sweet potatoes were a nice surprise. I have to admit I'm not full on the avocado toast train, but the G.O.A.T was so good! I also tried a smoothie bowl (my first ever) and it was delicious - highly recommend Dragon Queen. The granola topping added some perfect texture to the bowl. It took me a while to figure out which juice I wanted to try, but I finally settled on Paint The Town - if you like beets and and drinks with a gingery kick, you gotta check it out. Can't wait to try more! read more

First off yummy! I am obsessed with smoothies and cold juices so I'm always on the hunt for a new, cool, spot to try out when traveling. I found this place on Yelp and added it to my list of "musts " in Richmond, VA. As soon as my husband and I walked in we were warmly greeted and came to a stand up menu to look at as soon as we entered the door. I like this method better as it shows people where the real line starts, as well as give others the opportunity to look at a menu. They currently offer a variety of smoothies, 3 types of breakfast toasts, smoothie bowls, shots, as-one, and juices with a create your own option as well. I decided to order the Pink Panther Smoothie with a booster shot of Noble. The smoothie was sweet and delicious and I heard another customer say that their Noble shot tasted like "Christmas" which I totally got. I also ordered the G.O.A.T. toast wick was toasted perfectly and thick enough to have a soft center, topped with fresh guacamole, everything bagel seasoning, and sliced tomatoes. It was literally the best toast I've had and now I see why avocado toast has become "a thing". Overall the staff kept a great pace with the customers who were in and out and we also came when it was raining so there were more people on the inside that normal I'm sure. All in all I would definitely return and try out another toast or juice for sure. It seems like a good meetup spot on the good for small groups (2-3) and is located in a really cute area. The next time you're in Richmond and looking for a healthy breakfast I recommend Beet Box! read more

An Açaí Smoothie bowl is definitely the way to go (for some extra razzle dazzle I added a peanut butter drizzle)! The flavor is great and it keeps well in the freezer if you can't finish it in one sitting. The atmosphere is nice, the location is perfect, and the staff members are friendly. The only thing I had an issue with was the wait time when I've gone on my lunch break. Despite that I've literally been 3 times already within one month. It's worth the wait! The Matcha Smoothie Bowl tastes like frozen matcha. Smagine lightly sweetened matcha smoothie with the consistency of a frosty or Slurpee. With the added fruit medley of strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and coconut shavings it was a refreshing morning treat. Granola and peanut butter definitely give it some substance in contrast to all the lighter ingredients. read more

Loved the beet box. Spouse got the the AB power bowl. Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Protein and Nut Mylk; Topped w/ Granola, Strawberry, Blueberry, Banana, Local Honey, Coconut Flakes. And I got the Queen Dragon Fruit, Strawberry, Pineapple and Apple Juice; Topped w/ Granola, Strawberry, Blueberry, Pineapple, Local Honey, Coconut Flakes. The bowls were $10. Seems like a lot until you taste them and consider the fresh ingredients. Plus we both could not finish. Saved til later on the refrigerator. They still tasted great later. We both enjoyed the Dragon Queen best. We are both looking forward to going there again. read more

If you like smoothies or smoothie bowls this place won't disappoint.  I've been in a big smoothie kick and was really impressed by this smoothie spot.  Their staff was very friendly and this is clearly a very popular smoothie place since it was bustling. They've got a really wide variety to their menu with lots of flavor options for everyone. My wife got a cookie dough smoothie from their specials menu that was fantastic. I got one of their chocolate smoothie mainstays which was exactly what I was looking for. As with many other spots in this section of Richmond it is within walking distance of so many places. It wasn't far at all from our Airbnb. I couldn't have asked for anything more from this place. read more

The Beet Box - Amazing vibes! One of my favorite spots in RVA. Everything is always sooooooo good! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

I've been wanting to try this place for months and finally made it happen. Smoothie bowls and avocado toast are not my husband's thing but he agreed to give it a try. The small space is cute with painted murals and stickers decorating the cooler. The service was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the açaí bowl and my husband had one of the avocado toasts. Even though it's not his "thing" he raved about the toast and my açaí bowl was delicious and refreshing. The fruit on top was fresh and the granola was amazing! I highly recommend and I will definitely be back! read more
