I have been eating at nearby Joe's Farm Grill for years and have not made the time to walk over here. You can't miss Barnone because they are housed in a Quonset hut made of steel. Inside of Barnone is a salon, machinist, printmaker and other services. They had an evening artisan fair going on when I stopped in. I love seeing other people's creativity and was impressed by the products that were being showcased by many of the artists. Barnone also has a few restaurants. Fire & Brimstone, 12 West Brewing, Garage-East and Uprooted Kitchen are just some of the places to grab a bite or drink. It is really cool to see how much this area has grown and expanded over the years. I still enjoy getting a coffee at The Coffee Shop and going for a walk at Agritopia Farm. When talking to the lady on the phone she told me, "don't come here unless you know what you have or we will just offer you a dollar"..... red flag. I do research, but I'm no expect. I arrive and ask for 12k for the lot. This guy looks it over. Doesn't even check the stamps. And goes on to tell me that, "he couldn't sell this all for 1.5k"..... doesn't even counter offer just says it's not even worth 1.5k I laugh, I can tell he's a scammer. He's talking in circles, telling me what I have is trash and then weighing his own piece to show how much it weights and how he gets 200 for this, ugly piece that weight less than what I was showing. I leave and do my research, find an appraiser that works for a museum in Tucson and works for the university there. This is a specialist who has done decades of this type of work. She goes through each piece and she tells me 12k is the lowest end I should sell this collection. One piece alone was appraised at 3.8k.... Worse case, this dude is a scammer. Best case, he has zero idea on what he's talking about. Don't say you weren't warned!

So off to yelp I go to find a replacement. I came across Show and Tell on a Monday. Lindsey and I had a couple of exchanges via email where I explained the vision. While they didn't have a jersey, they did have a shirt and so be it. She was able to print and have it ready for me by Thursday. I was in West Valley on Thursday, but she stuck around on a Friday afternoon until I was able to pick it up and the shirt was perfect. My best man caught the shirt and plans to toss it at his wedding.
