It's pretty much impossible to get a table there. Even with a reservation made hours beforehand. The food was good the ONE time I was able to get in there. Drinks are good, nice atmosphere but very small. Just sucks, you can never get in there and forget about walking in randomly, you'll be turned away. read more

Drove 45 minutes. They were having some sort of Anniversary celebration. Had to eat a buffet, which I hate! Could not order off the menu! Should have left. There was nothing on the website that they were having this. Several groups left because they did not want a buffet! It happy. How hard is it to post on a website? They did post that they were closed for the storm. read more

Food is great, service has been better as they have gotten more popular seems to be slipping a little...

My boyfriend and I chose The Bayou as our dinner for our 3 year anniversary. It is a casual setting and it suits our personalities well. We both got the fried chicken sandwich and split the mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich is AMAZING...the best I've ever had. We also split the mac and cheese which was a large portion and tasted delicious. The cocktails and beer selection made our dinner that much better. For dessert we got the beignets which were delicious as well. I can't wait to come back. read more

Stopped in for a drink only to heck the place out. I had trouble finding parking but circled and got a spot. Sat at the bar and had friendly service and drink was cold. Food dishes looked good. I will have to stop on an empty stomach next time. read more

I was very impressed! I got the Mac and cheese and that-with leftovers- was plenty for me. My boyfriend got the fried chicken. He definitely enjoyed it and I tried some as well. Not the best I've ever had but up there. Service was great. Didn't feel rushed but whenever you needed a refill or the check they were there. Great music and the atmosphere was really fun. Only reason for 4 stars was it was a bit pricey for what you got but still worth it! read more

i've been a pretty loyal customer since the first month they opened, i used to love their marinated cucumbers(no longer on the menu) and i still love their corn bread but i was gravely disappointed when i was last here for their annual all you can eat crawfish boil, previous years they did a great and efficient job on it with what little space they had. this year they decided to do a single bucket( instead of the huge tub that took up some table space) that they refilled at every table. i wouldn't of minded that set up at all but the bucket for 6 ppl at our table was primarily filled with potatoes, corn, and shrimp(FILLERS). 1/5 of this bucket had crawfish in it. we had this bucket refilled once and the last time they gave us half a bucket and said they were out. needless to say it was not all you can eat , and none of the 5 other people i brought were even close to full or very happy at that end of our dinner. read more

5 star food, 3 star service. We got there at 3:50, 10 minutes before the wait staff had shift change at 4pm. At 4:07 we still had not been greeted by a waitress even tho we had been seated immediately by the hostess. I had to get up and go to the group of waitresses by the register to tell them. They did take the price of one appetizer off our bill because of it, but it was annoying. The food was AMAZING tho. The butter that comes with the cornbread makes that appetizer incredible. The Brussel sprouts are some of the best I have ever had. My husband got the pork belly and it was incredibly soft and flavorful. I got their beef burger with the duck egg on it and it was probably the best burger I've ever had. Whatever sauce they use on there is fantastic. Even their steak fries were perfect, soft on the inside, crisp on the outside and not heavy with grease. Definitely recommend this place, just don't go around shift change! read more

This place is awesome! Fabulous food, wonderful and friendly service, and nice atmosphere. Fair pricing as well. Great for families or couples:) read more

LOVE this restaurant!! The food is incredible. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Cannot wait for you to open in Easton!!!!

Today was our second time at The Bayou and boy, oh, boy, we were not disappointed again! We always do a smattering of dishes so we can try new things every time we come and today we tried the curried cauliflower and B.E.P. (black eyed peas, for those in the know...) for appetizers. Oh....YUM!!! We could have stopped right there and be extraordinarily happy, but we continued by splitting BBQ Chicken Thighs and an Oyster Po'Boy Sammich. I swear, if we had four stomachs like cows, we would have eaten so much more!! The flavors just were incredible and our server, Annie the bartender, was FABULOUS!! Christian and Tyler are two of the owners that we have met and, guys.... You have it all! Thank you for not giving up quality for quantity! Keep up the delicious work and we'll keep coming back for more....and more... and, yep, I'm going to wait for my Jambalaya when it happens! Rock on!!! Gina & Peter :D read more

The food was honestly amazing! I had the buttermilk fried chicken with the sweet mashed and substituted the pickles for a side salad and my boyfriend had the po boy brisket with fries! Honestly was so good and I have told everyone that they have to try this place. I also had the apple barrel to cocktail, again, amazing. I will def be back!! read more

Went there a handful of times...delicious food and better beverages!!!! Today we had Annie as our bartender, she was wonderful!!!! Recommend this place any day of the week!!!! read more

Ok.. Made a reservation on open table for tonight for 7:15. Arrived at 7:10 . Hostess was pleasant. Waited until 7:50 to be seated. Service was slow. Napkins were missing. Food was served at 8:45. Food was ok and outdoor seating had a pleasant atmosphere . Need to get better at service. Perhaps corn bread served to hold people over during the long wait. Check delivered slow as well. Major critique is the lack of sufficient service. read more

I love the atmosphere at the Bayou and the staff is very personable. I have had dinner here several times and enjoyed all of the small plates. However, I do wish they had more vegetarian options. Love the apple pie cocktail. Great establishment for 25+ older, professionals. Provides great entertainment, especially Live Jazz for something different. Will continue to recommend to clients, friends, and family. read more

The drinks were served in these cool little mason jars!! That being said, I'm pretty much a loner these days and I'm dealing with severe depression. I'm impressed by anything that doesn't make me want to put a gun in my mouth. The food almost did. read more

My husband took me to the Bayou on 10/11/14 after being there himself and what a gem!! We went to New Orleans back in 2012 and this would be right at home there - authentic food and cocktails, SUPER friendly and personable staff, always a good time. Make sure you call ahead and make reservation as it is pretty cozy inside with limited tables/seating - they do take reservations and recommend this as well. A MUST if you are in Bethlehem - make sure you check this place out (and get the mac n cheese - you're welcome.) read more

Ate here for first time 11/20/14. We tried a lot of items and shared them: Really liked the sweet potato confit, jalapeno grits, cornbread with spicy tomato butter, flash fried black eyed peas, hush puppies, fried chicken, pulled pork with apple cider slaw, beignets. The lemon chess pie was rich and very sweet. Had the maple peach sour - excellent. Food was fresh with quality ingredients. The hostess was a little snippy, but our server was perfect: friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We will definitely return, DV. read more

New favorite in the valley. The brisket sandwich is incredible, and the fried chicken ranks up there with the best I've had, and I've had Gus' in Memphis. Great cocktails as well. It is not authentic cajun, but it is close enough. read more

Total disappointment. Had heard great reviews from friends before eating here. Alcohol content in cocktails was very little, dirty martinis made with mushy cheap olives, po boys were disgustingly greasy with little flavor despite even "pickled" Cole slaw, friends medium steaks all came out raw in the middle (when we complained to the manager I was told that there are "different interpretations of medium"......ummmmm, raw is not medium) This place is striving to be an upscale restaurant but is definitely not in that league. read more

Adorable restaurant/bar. We had reservations but weren't seated for a half hour after the reservation. Normally this would frustrate me, but the staff/manager were so helpful and accommodating. They kept checking in with us and offered us free drinks while we waited. Once we were seated the waitress was wonderful and our food was absolutely amazing. Great food and excellent service, but make sure to make reservations. read more

Heard nothing but great reviews of this place...and guess what? Awesome service and food. We were a party of 6 and we all ordered different meals and sampled from each other. The cauliflower was excellent!!! Love the atmosphere as well. Can"t wait 2 go back! read more

Hush Puppies are fantastic, as is the gumbo, spicy blend of authentic flavors. Also had the touted fried chicken, but it was dull, no flavor at all, nowhere the expectation. Service was reasonable, but make sure your expectations are for southern speed of a meal. read more

Awesome! The unique cocktails are yummy! Was there with a group and tasted many entrees. All were scrumptious! Try the barbeque shrimp; didn't sound good to me, but tried it and loved it; will get that for sure next time. Very nice atmosphere; any dress is appropriate - folks in jeans to suits. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. You will not be disappointed. Try it! You'll like it. read more

I have lived in the Bethlehem area for about a year now. As a born and raised in Georgia boy I enjoyed going to the Bayou very much because it reminded me of my southern roots. The management was very hospitable and the waitstaff was excellent. Since the new management has taken over I feel that the hospitality aspect has declined. I'm sad to say that I would like to see the old management team back in there. read more

I don't drink tea but my girlfriend said their sweet tea is some of the best she's ever had. They have a very eclectic menu with plates to meet a variety of palates. Their southern spin on traditional dishes is quite original. I've frequented many southern style restaurants while I lived in Detroit, San Fran and NYC. It's on par with any I've found across the country. Their dessert menu is exciting and you'll definitely being bringing some aspect of your meal home for seconds. read more

This place has never let us down. Been here at least 10 times. Great selection of bees on tap. The Mac and cheese and fried chicken are delicious. Pork belly is also a must try! read more

This place is amazing, great service at bar and tables...the Ty's Mac n cheese and the BBQ pork Ribs are my fave! I come here about once a month and the food is consistently amazing. Great job! read more

Great food and great service. Food was delicious; ambiance was nice as well. Waiting times can be a little long but worth the wait.

Always enjoy a trip to The Bayou. The food is wonderful, made with care and integrity, the service staff is warm, the drinks are delightful and the space is just gorgeous. read more

Decided to give this place a try since it's close to home. The fried chicken immediately took me back to my mom's southern fried chicken - it was amazing!! Even the breast was super moist and flavorful! Hubby got the hangar steak - he can be picky - two thumbs up! He loved it!! Our daughter got the mac and cheese and she has decided she is in love...with the mac and cheese...lol!! The drinks were awesome, too! Try the cucumber fizz - so good! Last but not least...they make their own pickles - the perfect balance of sweet and sour and perfect with that fried chicken - we bought a pint to bring home! We're looking forward to visiting many more times so we can try everything on the menu! read more

INCREDIBLE FOOD. You will not be disappointed. My bf and I had the cornbread, gumbo, fried chicken, and beignets. The beignets were so good I'm still dreaming about them. Only thing that was a little off putting were their hostesses, who were kind of a mess... The hostesses were super frazzled and barley acknowledged us. We had a reservation but still had to stand around for at least 10 minutes before being seated. I totally understand how busy they were, but it was kind of weird. Overall though, I would recommend this place to anyone again and again. read more

Really good! Nice casual atmosphere, great service, healthy portions, inexpensive & delicious! Place is clean, too. If you're going, make a reservation. Even on a Tuesday, they get packed. My friend and I were actually early for our reso (...on a Tuesday, lol) & when we arrived the place was empty. We had a cocktail & an appetizer out on the back porch & by the time we came back in about 40 min later, the place was almost full. The jalapeño infused margaritas are SO good! ....and the pork belly small plate? Yes, definitely do that. Mmmmmm! read more

Excellent food. Just make reservations or expect to wait.

The food was on point here! Drinks on the same level. My BF and I cleaned everything off every plate we ate! We left nothing. The oxtails were out of this world. Johnny cakes, jalapeño grits, and Brussels sprouts. I'm dead. Not a whiskey or bourbon guy and both their cocktails satisfied the depths of my soul. Thanks you Bayou, I think I found a reason to move up to Bethlehem. read more

The food is amazing and so are the drinks. Great portion size, too. the only slight downside is that it gets pretty noisy because it's not a very big place. read more

Went out to dinner last Friday with some friends. Two of us had shrimp Po-Boys and there were only three breaded fried shrimp on each one. My friends had no lettuce on it ,she just threw her salad on top. The Grits were good. The lobster mac and cheese hardly had any Lobster in it ($15). I got a mojito and it was straight up club soda, no simple syrup in it, sent it back twice, still the same! ended up getting a Captain and Coke. $14 for a small salad and that small sandwich. I was really disappointed. Had gone in the summer and it was good, don't know what happened. read more
