The room is big and there's a good area to set up a bar and set out some snacks. They have plenty of places to sit and a ping pong table available for the more casual events (and parties!). They're the cream of the crop when it comes to events in Seattle. They do big-budget, high quality, over the top, awesome events. They do smaller events too but this is your go-to space if you want a customized party for over 1000 people. There's a stage, there's state of the art lighting, white walls with projectors to project movies, images, etc. They even have different sets and packages so you can do soft seating, tables, classrooms, or whatever you could dream up. I've come for large scale cocktail parties, I've come for networking events, and I've come for themed holiday bashes and dance parties. They can truly do it all. The staff appears to be well organized and there's always, always staff easy to find for load-in or questions of any kind. Whenever I see an event promoted and spot that it's being hosted at Fremont Studios, I know it's going to be good.

Inside, you'll find a makeshift bar with a few stools serving up a handful of the beers they produce on site to taste and buy. Service can be a little spotty and it felt more like hanging out at a neighbor's garage. It's a super casual, no-nonsense place. We thought the beer wasn't as bad as some of the reviews it's gotten so far on Yelp. I thought it was worth checking out for myself because we still had a fun time hanging out, drinking our beer, and chatting with one another. We didn't feel rushed. I'd go back if they expanded their taproom and made it a slightly larger space to sip their beer at and spend a more comfortable time at to hang out and meet up with friends.

The main lobby has nice couches for sitting and shmoozing. One big issue here is the sound. It's very barny and the sound tends to bounce off all the walls. I would think this would be better suited to charity and professional events and less suited to personal events like weddings. It was certainly far more elegant and pleasant than the church the auction has used in the past.

She was great to…read morework with, gave excellent, thorough information on the venue and was happy to hold the date we were interested in until a decision was made. Although we decided to book our event elsewhere, it was a pleasure to work with her. I'm definitely holding onto the information she gave me for booking an event here, corporate or personal, in the future. One can book out the space of the cafe as well if needed. They will also add their cafe's barista service to your event for a small fee. There's a small parking lot that is right nearby to use which is really helpful in this neck of the woods where parking is space. The space itself is a big concrete slab with concrete walls but they have all of the tables and chairs, a grand piano to rent, and the price is great along with the ability to have catering come in from outside and decorate the space as you see fit.

A confusing aspect which often leads people befuddled. It does feel quite open despite being located in the downtown area and there always feels like there is plenty of natural light. The escalators rising up from level 1 to the 5th floor top level has a nice adjacent seating area which flows down to level three with a nice view of the interior of the center and big glass windows with views of Pine street. I have been to multiple conventions here (ECCC, PAX West, etc.) and I am always impressed with this place!

Clean, shiny floors and an amazing echo that really lets you know, this is a quiet place. Did I mention that there are free public restrooms here? Yep. There are also a couple of electrical outlets if you look closely.
