We had a lovely Friday afternoon outing. Given the chilly weather, a tasting room that allowed our puppy was imperative. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the old converted barn, the friendly bartender, and the perfectly serviceable wines :). They also allow you to bring your own foods if downstairs or outside.

Cute spot. We did a tasting downstairs and also sat upstairs and listened to some live music. Good vibes for a families, a small or larger group of friends, or couples. If you sit outside you can bring your own food and chairs and stuff. Inside, you order off a limited menu. Shoutout to Becky who helped us out. Super friendly and accommodating!

Beautiful location with plenty of parking and seating. Friendly staff and dog friendly. We got a bottle of Viognier to share and it was refreshing and delicious. Very easy to drink. They had some live music as well. I'm not sure if they serve food but we did bring some of our own.

We came here with a member so we had a great experience. We tried their reds and they were pretty good. Live music even on a Sunday but if you want a quieter setting, sit downstairs. They have a cute outside with a fire pit and a lake too. If you bring your own food you have to sit downstairs or outside so keep this in mind. Would love to have a true wine tasting next time or sit outside once it gets warmer.

I visited the Barns this weekend as part of an arranged tour. Jay Hersey was our wine host and he was awesome . Not to mention how handsome and nice he was ;) Our wine tour was in the lower level of the winery. Jay was great with the group and gave us a great overview of the winery and the wine selections. After the winery was over, we were able to table pictures and go upstairs and try other wines and ports. The ladies who were upstairs were very Nice and told us about the wine we could purchase. My wine tour mates bought the wine in the bag, port, and also enjoyed the cheese. What I like about the winery is it is diverse. The other staff was very welcoming. The winery is great for family gatherings, ladies outgoing, date nights, and just an escape from the city! I'll be back and hopefully Jay is our host!

We stopped by on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed the full bodied tasting. The barn is beautiful and we sat next to a roaring fire and chatted with the owner. We also tried the mulled wine, which was remarkable. We're excited to return this summer on a weekend when they have live music.

Good service, pretty decent wines. Nice live music on a Saturday. Came here from Bluemont Vineyard and we liked this place much better. The wines were better, the service was better, and the overall experience was better. In addition, the live music was really really good. People were getting up and dancing and having a good time. Unfortunately for us, they were closing early for a wedding, so the music ended at five. Overall a really nice place, and I'd be happy to come back here.

I loved this place. There was live music ( it was a Saturday) which was really good. The staff was awesome! They carried our wine flights out to the balcony for us. The balcony overlooked a pond in the grounds. Although I am only reviewing the venue, the wines were really good. There was not a kitchen but they had a food truck.

5 stars. I visited the Barns recently for the first time and it immediately became one of my favorite wineries in the area. The ambiance and wines are excellent. They have increidably friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is a beautiful rustic venue with a gorgeous scenery. The winery is located in a restored barn. By the way, the barn is over 100 years old. There is live music during the weekends. Plus they're open until 8 p.m. on Fridays. Not many are opened after 6 p. m. They allow outside food and it's dog friendly. The wines are excellent. In fact, they have a few award winning wines. Overall, a superb winery with a unique ambiance.

The venue is super cute and cozy. The service is great and everyone working was super helpful when I had questions on their wine selection. We came on a beautiful, but chilly fall Saturday and there was plenty of seating outdoors. I am not sure if you can make reservations, it looked mostly first come, first serve. They have a wood-fire pit for staying warm around as well as to roast marshmallows. They sell smores kits just in case you forgot yours! I had their Hamilton wine flight which was $20. It came with a lovely mix of reds, whites, and a rose. I was not a huge fan of their wines in the flight. I typically like full-bodied, dry red wines and none of the ones in the flight had that profile. This place is definitely worth a visit to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, live music, and a variety of wines. It is also family friendly with lots of space for kids to run around.

I'm a member of this winery, so I get the luxury of visiting quite often when I go to member events. This winery is charming and isn't highfalutin or intimidating. The barn is really rustic and there's so much land to explore and get away if it is crowded. There has also never been a time where I've gone to this winery and there hasn't been live music. They usually always have great performers that do great covers. I would definitely recommend the cheese basket if you go with a group of people. They don't skimp out of the serving size and will in fact serve you a huge chunk of cheese and meet and whatever jam or spread you choose. I was pleasantly surprised by that and was expecting a charcuterie board with like 2 pieces of cheese and a half a piece of meet. You could feed a family of 4 or 5 with the cheese basket. it's definitely worth the money. The wine speaks for itself and is great. I tend to like the white and rose wines better than the reds here. The whites are really refreshing and great for sharing a bottle with people who can appreciate it.

I've been exploring different wineries to check out and why not use a birthday as an opportunity! It was perfect weather and day to get some friends together and drive up to VA for some wine. Luckily our friends arrived just in time to snag a table in the shade with just enough seats for everyone. We all brought our own snacks, which was perfect with the wine. Everyone has different taste buds, so we each ordered our own glasses, bottles, or pitchers of sangria. My husband and I ordered the different tastings and shared them. He really liked the cab Franc and I enjoyed the barn white. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria, which my sister loved, but it was definitely too sweet for me. The scenery and ambiance is really great. I loved the barn and the fresh smell of wood when going inside. Ordering was pretty simple. They give you a number, which up put up when you're ready to order. They are very efficient and offer great customer service. Overall, it was a great experience with a variety of wines, great view, and good laughs.

This was our first stop along the wine trail in the area. The barn from outside is pretty amazing. Looking at my photos, inside is incredible upstairs and below. They have a balcony outside with that amazing mountain view that everyone gets to see outside in the area. The ladies up front were nice and helpful with our experience. The wines were all really good. After visiting 12+ wineries on the trail, this one is my ultimate favorite. Based on the overall experience, environment and wine was all good. It was our favorite stop and plan on stopping here for a much longer time the next time we are in the area. I recommend if you like barns, nice view and amazing wines, go here.

The indoor seating is quaint and in a small building. They also have a huge outdoor space and patio both with seating. We were joined about another guest and had great conversation. There was some great live music playing too which gave it a nice atmosphere without being too loud to hear yourself. We went for a flight of reds to try, along with a cheese board. The cheese board was actually great, Alotta Burrata was the apt name for it with a large amount of Burrata cheese and a great selection of pairings. I wish the wine had been as good, but all three options were pretty mid range and none stood out at all. The Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc were fine, but the Petit Verdot was almost sour tasting. A beautiful setting with good food but the wine just didn't live up to expectations.

The greeter directed us to the tasting bar where an equally friendly staff member helped us. They told us about the vineyard, wines and food offereings. All the wines were well balanced with a nice level of complexity. We brought 4 bottles home! This is a must visit in the Northern VA/Louden wine area. My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)

The menu has great options, including flatbreads and charcuterie, making it easy to linger and enjoy the experience. Bonus points for being kid-friendly (if you must!)--a nice perk when so many wineries are strictly 21+.

They had my favorite wine (Petit Manseng) but somehow I ended up loving the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve. I even ordered a glass of it after my tasting.
