33 minutes after class is supposed to have started, the host hasn't let me in. Wtf?!

Don't waste your time or your money. Shitty registration options (app or website). Poor communication, good luck if you want to get somebody to resolve time sensitive issues, class link didn't work. Go to the Dailey Method instead.

I've practiced barre at this amazing studio for many years, but after a serious back surgery, it truly became my haven during recovery and beyond. The owner, teachers, and staff are all phenomenal. They are incredibly talented and create such a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can build strength in both body and mind. If you're new to barre, this is an incredibly wonderful place to begin your practice.

I first discovered it during postpartum with my first baby, starting with the Baby Barre classes, and it was the perfect way to gently and confidently reintroduce myself to working out after having a baby. The Baby Barre classes were incredibly flexible, understanding, and judgment-free. There was no stress if your baby cried, and total support if you needed to stop mid-class to tend to your little one. Workouts were thoughtfully modified based on everyone's needs, and the instructor always tailored the class to what she was noticing in the room--if most moms were baby-wearing, we focused on standing exercises; if babies were mostly on the mat, the workout adjusted accordingly. As an added bonus, it was a great opportunity for my baby to practice tummy time while looking at herself in the mirror! Once I returned to work, I transitioned into the regular class offerings and was so happy to find a wide variety--sculpt, strength, barre, and stretch. All of the instructors are genuinely sweet, supportive, and motivating--but don't be fooled, they will definitely work you. The studio is always clean, welcoming, and well-run, and the class offerings are truly incredible. I'm so grateful for this place. It supported me through postpartum, helped me build consistency, and continues to be a space I look forward to coming back to week after week. Highly recommend!

Joining TruFusion is helping as I don't believe I would push myself like I am here on my own. This is a great way to start the new year. They offer a large list of classes, pilates, yoga, HIIT, Barre, yoga, some are a combo, heated and non-heated classes. The instructors are great, so far my favorites are Maria and Desirae. Both are clear in their instruction and were able to see my struggle to offer modifications in a very humble welcoming way. TruFusion makes it easier for me not having to think of a training plan. I book my classes on their app up to a week ahead and show up. The value for what I am getting is worth it. I kind of wish I would've done it sooner. They have some intro promos. I def recommend taking advantage.

I've tried several other fitness studios in SF, but nowhere comes close to comparing with TruFusion with its extensive class offerings, motivating instructors who made classes so fun that I got hooked on them, and pristine facilities. However, I'm happy that the Walnut Creek location exists to fill the void. While it's not as convenient as the SF location was since I have to commute from the city, I'm still super grateful and know it's so worth it. My first time taking a class at the Walnut Creek studio, I arrived after my class started due to some traffic slowdowns. I was fully aware of the studio's "no late entry" rule, so I asked if there was anything I could do and explained my situation. The front desk staff were extremely kind and offered to switch me to a different class that hadn't started yet. I ended up taking a hot power vinyasa class, something I hadn't gotten around to at the SF location. I was a little apprehensive, since I don't know the names of all the yoga positions, but I needn't have been concerned. The instructor gave clear instructions at a reasonable pace, and at no point was I confused. I'm so impressed and definitely want to take a vinyasa class again. It looks like, for the foreseeable future, I will be spending my weekend mornings getting my sweat on and feeling the burn at TruFusion Walnut Creek. Can't wait to take more classes!

With that said, I really want to highlight how amazing and attentive Coach Alex was. She was incredibly supportive and helpful , even going as far as telling me that if she ever saw my name on the class roster again, she'd put together a workout that focused less on legs because of my disability. That level of awareness and care meant a lot. The front desk attendant was also incredibly sweet. Overall, it was such an amazing experience. The workout itself was fantastic, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back when I'm able to reactivate my membership. Highly recommend!

Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Provided me with a quick history about how Lagree was established. I definitely hope to come back and try the climber/boot camp class.

Now after a few reformer classes with different instructors trying to find one that was a little more challenging as the others were more like a stretch I took a class with Olivia and that was THE BEST CLASS EVER very close to how lagree feels and challenging enough to get some shakes. Sad to say that it was a big solid no for me :( The treadmills look nice but when I got one of them, it felt flimsy and cheap, similar to what they have at 24 Hr Fitness or at apartment gyms. I know that these are the nice high end treadmills, so I'm confused. I couldn't jog on it at all, it just felt very difficult and my ankles/shins were achy after 30 seconds. I can jog outside and was able to jog on the treadmills across the street at Crunch Gym, but the ones here just felt terrible to even walk on, let alone jog. Also, the treadmills were thinner and narrower and very close together. The gym was busy at the time, and I ended up grabbing one of the treadmills at the end, which faced a wall. Several of them face either a wall or are blocked in some way. And it was the worst experience. Very depressing. I didn't even make it 5 minutes on the treadmill before I left. I really really wanted to like this gym for how affordable it is for what you get (unlimited premium classes + a full gym), but I just don't know...will have to check out other options for now.
