Cute location with plenty of seating, service was nice and they helped me pick out my sandwich since it was my first time. I went with the Nutella cookie on the bottom, almond brittle cake ice cream in the middle and topped it with a s'more cookie on top with almond slivers on the side. My boyfriend had a brownie on the bottom, cookies n cream ice cream with a chocolate chip cookie on top. I love his ice cream, you could taste the cookies and cream in every bite. My Nutella cookie was kind of hard but by s'more cookie was delicious and broke a part fairly easy. We can't wait to come back and try more combos. The cookies are exactly like I like them to be--soft and chewy! I am slightly ashamed to admit that I tried 4 different kinds, and they were all perfectly baked and so delicious. There are many options for cookies, ice cream, and toppings, which means the combinations for the ice cream sandwiches are practically endless! I chose a classic combo today of a cookies and cream cookies with cookies and cream ice cream. My son tried the root beer float, and my niece had the brownie bowl. I would give 5 stars for service. I went in on a weekday afternoon a couple of weeks ago, and I was helped by a younger woman, who stated she was the daughter of one of the owners (if I remember correctly). I was really impressed with her knowledge of the ingredients within each ice cream flavor and each type of cookie. She also had recommendations on what the bestsellers were, which was helpful. I ordered the cookie sandwich. One of my cookies was a special flavor with pretzels and chocolate chunks. The other was their bestseller gooey butter cake cookie. My ice cream flavor was a rotating one with brownies and oreos. I wouldn't get the gooey butter cake cookie next time, but I think that's just a personal preference kind of thing. It tasted fresh; that's what counts. The specialty cookie with the pretzels and chocolate chunks was pretty tasty. The ice cream was delicious. I liked that they heated the cookies on the outside without melting the ice cream on the inside in their handy heating contraption. Overall, the food was 4-5 stars. It wasn't the best I've ever had, and it wasn't anything revolutionary. But I would go back. The only reason I docked one star from a 5-star review was because of the price. I felt it was pretty expensive to charge $4.50. I liked that they didn't charge extra to have two different kinds of cookies in the cookie sandwich, but I just felt it should have been closer to $3-$3.50. As a side note: there seems to only be street, metered parking. I am not as familiar with what days are free, but it wasn't too hard to get a spot when I went. read more

They recommended it and said they both frequented it a lot while in grad school. The interior is branded and has all the flavors and toppings showcased. Custom is really the key word. You can choose whatever cookie, mix of cookies, ice cream and toppings for your sandwich. Or you can get a shake, hot fudge sundae, or brownie bowl. I got a chocolate shake with sea salt peanut butter cookies mixed in. It was delicious! The straw was large to uptake cookie pieces and it was so rich! It's always fun to come back on campus and find that the whole OU campus has changed so much. So many new restaurants/bars added to Campus Corner and man, I wish The Baked Bear was on CC back when I was in college! (but probably would've added extra to the Freshman 15!) This great dessert shop has ice cream sandwiches that you can mix and match with either a cookie, brownie, and donut! I tried the Combo of a Funfetti Cookie and Brownie with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in the middle. If you are craving sugar and absolutely need lots of it...this is the place to go to. You can add toppings to your ice cream sandwiches as well..anywhere from caramel, fudge, brownie bits, fruity pebbles, and more! I enjoyed my ice cream sandwich, but I just had Torchy's for dinner, so I couldn't finish the whole thing haha. After living on campus way back in the day and hearing how great this place was, I had to try it. I was so glad to make the trip back down to Norman to try it! I ended up getting a bear bowl (chocolate chip cookie) with bear batter and a s'mores cookie on top. SUGAR OVERLOAD but that's what we expect when we go to a place like this right? I'm pretty sure I just contracted diabetes front this place but it was well worth it. To start, it's a pretty simple menu with many options. You choose your top and bottom part of you sandwich (mix and match if you'd like) which can be a brownie, doughnut, or one of many cookie variations. Next you pick the ice cream and they have lots of options! If you're healing fancy there's additional toppings like fudge, caramel, sprinkles, m&ms, etc. I chose to do a chocolate chip cookie, a brownie, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and m&ms. Oh my gosh so delicious! Mine costed $5.85 which I though was very reasonable for this glorious dessert. If you're planning on eating with a fork, which I recommend, go with the brownie instead of the cookie. The cookie gets cold and hard from the ice cream and is impossible to cut into. (Don't worry, it moves quick!) There are only two tables inside though, unless you are lucky enough to get a bench outside. There was a lot of staff behind the counter, which was good because one of ours was dropped & the other didn't heat well and both had to be redone.
