I loved going to the Back Bowl when I lived in Eagle. It is easily the nicest bowling alley I've ever been to. No plastic chairs here and peeling linoleum. Each lane has nice, comfortable couches and chairs. The food here is definitely several steps up from your average bowling alley food. They have great pizza and the restaurant there is so nice I have gone there to eat with no intention of bowling. The menu has quite a few options and the food is genuine restaurant quality. They also have a couple of pool tables as well as a small arcade which my daughter loved. This is definitely an upscale bowling alley, but the prices never seemed worse than any other bowling alley. My lane broke so I go up to the guy behind the counter and was like hey.... and he goes "what?" Do rudely... and I go my lane isn't working and he goes "so?" I was like uhhhhhh and he just walked away..... he goes and fixes it and 2 throws later it breaks again so I go up there and I was like it broke again... and his reply was "what the fuck?" On a rainy day this July, we took our 5 year old daughter here and had a blast. They play great music overhead, there are plenty of balls in every size possible, scoring is automated, food and beer is amazing. We had a plate of nachos with beef and black beans that I'm still thinking about! My daughter now wants to drag us there whenever we're in Eagle, and we readily agree! read more

I had a really great time here we bowled for several hours and had drinks and pizza. Each lane has its own seating area/table slightly separated from the next lane over so you don't feel too crowded with larger parties. The drinks were awesome and the bartenders were very nice. the pizza came out fast and tasted great. read more

A super nice bowling alley, but we were charged $44 for 1 game of bowling for 2 people. Whaaaaaaat?!?!? Seriously?! While it is a very nice place, we won't be back. That is a serious price tag for 20-30 minutes of entertainment in Eagle, CO. Although the comment below from the bowling alley indicates that we paid for 1 hour of bowling, we were not told this and were under the impression that we paid for 1 game. Went there or a corporate event... food was fair and we were allowed to bowl for two hours. Disappointed that we were not allowed to finish game in progress when the two hours was up (it wasn't busy and would have been paid for). We bowled for a work event. I made the reservations ahead of time. I was never asked how many people were bowling but did confirm the price per lane of $38. I also knew from the website that the shoes were $3 per person. When we arrived we were automatically charged an additional $15 per lane for shoes. We had a party of 9, someone brought their own shoes, and still was overcharged $20. I called the owner and he denied the refund.. for shoes!!! We only spent $300 between food, drink, and lanes!!! We loved the food and service, but management is lacking fundamental customer service skills. Just told that I was charged for a service that I had not asked for! Owner of back bowl, I made the reservation with YOU. YOU stated $38 per hour. I NEVER asked your associate for an extra 30 minutes. Why would I ask for 30 extra minutes on a lane I did not use? The lanes are dangerously slippery!!! I threw my first ball and went flying down the lane and landed hard on my lower back. I am still in pain and bruised after a week. The man at the front desk replaced my shoes, which were worn and shiny on the bottom. We had 11 bowlers and 3 of us fell. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! read more

How do they justify 28.00 an hour per lane to bowl? Then raise it to 38.00 an hour from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm?????? My bowling house in Az. charges less than 3.00 per game per person. read more

Paid for bowling and was in the process of getting my shoes and bowling ball. When I needed a different size shoe than what I originally asked for, Josh at the front desk said "you can't make up your damn mind" when I asked for the new size. After that, I was choosing my ball and needed a bigger size, to which Josh replied "are you going to bitch about this now?" Josh then let me know that he has had a "long day" and it's "only been me" all day. Extremely rude customer service I can't even believe someone would speak like that to a paying customer. No service at all no drinks no menu no high I will be with you in a moment has anyone helped you after 40min I was able to get the attention of a server I asked who is working our table she replied that she is all around and I could flag her down. So I guess that would mean she was our server. So her response would be what can I get for you because I have just asked for service. I don't even think I'd give it one star. I've been to a lot of bowling alleys in a lot of places and this by far is the worst one I've ever been to, and ironically it's the most expensive one. $38/Hr, really?? I've been to really nice ones for $2.25 a game. The lanes seemed very small. Poorly oiled lanes and very uneven; I could hear the ball thumping all the way down. Here you can't even look through the balls to choose the one for you, they just ask size and give one to you. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

If I could give more stars I would! My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here and it was the most fun we've ever had! The sit down dinner was exceptional and the bowling and Kareoke were a blast! Not to mention, the service was exceptional and made us feel very special! Most of our wedding party traveled to be there so we wanted to do something special for everyone the night before the wedding. The dining area looked beautiful and we had a whole side of the bowling alley! Everyone loved the wedding, but they all talk about the rehearsal dinner like it was the best party they've ever been to! Thank you Back Bowl for a night we will never forget! read more

This is a really fun place at first. But at the end a new worker came and told us we can't put up the bumpers because apparently we have to be 8 and under so we don't break there equipment!! So overall it was pretty fun but if your not 8 and you want bumpers go somewhere else read more

Worst bowling experience ever! Assigned a lane that malfunctioned on the first 4 frames. Asked for help and the guy (black wavey hair with black frame glasses) originally told me nothing was wrong, then after additional explanation he said he would have to get maintenance to fix it. I asked to be given another lane, which were originally denied but finally ok'd. All was well until the lane timed out with only 2 frames left. We asked for extra time to finish the 2 frames and we're denied very rudely by the same guy, who stated that the issues from earlier didn't take any time. I got the manager involved, who was extremely understanding, but she was not able the work the bowling center controls. The rude kid basically refused to help us, so after approximately 15 minutes of waiting, we gave up and left to catch dinner reservations. It was not like there was a waiting line. The lanes were barely occupied @ only 25%. The time we waited we could have finished the game, walked out satisfied. Instead, we walked out extremely upset and frustrated.
