Quite advanced and I assured them they could have creative liberty and simplify it if necessary. I gave her multiple chances because her work is fast and lasts, but there's been a clear pattern of disrespect when it comes to honoring this request. At first it was just eye rolls or sighs, but at my most recent visit on 8/23/25 (12:15-1:40pm), she went too far. When I asked for shorter nails again, Lava told me "I slap you" while motioning her hand like a slap towards me -- with another employee standing nearby observing the service. They both laughed, but I did not. I defended myself and reminded her this is a paid service, not free, and I should not be made to feel like asking for shorter nails is a problem. She then tried to change the subject by pointing out her haircut, which she had requested short at the salon she went to. I explained this was exactly my point: as clients, we pay for what we want, and our preferences should be respected. Her response was simply, "I like long nails, I tell my customers long, long, long." The nail work may last, but professionalism and respect are just as important. It's unfortunate, because she is skilled and the nails did last a month on me -- but the lack of professionalism outweighs the quality. For that reason, I won't be returning.

The salon is very disorganized and run down looking…read more The chairs are ripped and cracked and there is storage shelving along the walls filled with paper towels and other items. This place could use a serious tune up. While the prices are reasonable the service is not great. I got a gel pedicure that came out decent but my dip "manicure" is a mess. They are not shaped around the cuticle so my hair keeps getting snagged, and there are large built up spots around the sides. I also never received the actual "manicure" portion of the service. - No soaking, no cuticle trimming, no massage, NADA. During my nail service the woman next to me was sat to remove either dip or gel nails. After unwrapping her nails the man began yanking off cotton balls that were somehow adhered to her nails. Once he pulled them all off he used the dremel tool to remove the rest of the glued on cotton. Once removed the woman's nails were all ripped and broken at the edges. Needless to say I won't be back to have my gel or dip removed.
