Today I had a perm with Kate, despite a consult last week, despite a picture showing what a wanted: a little of a wave to give a small body to my hair instead what I have is the curlier hair I had ever had. Being new to the area, I've been on a hunt for a new hair salon. I purchased a Groupon for a cut and partial foil which I redeemed last week. My hair was a little too short for the cut I wanted so the stylist suggested something a little different and I LOVED what she did. They also allowed me to get a full foil for $20 extra (serious bargain). The color came out fantastic, exact shade what I wanted. This was my first time at Le Posh, I went along with my wife to get haircuts and some styling done since moving to Haverhill. I was impressed with the salon overall. One of the perks was getting 20% off for being a new client, which made a "spa" day for us affordable. My stylist was Courtney who did an excellent job giving me nice layers that I will grow out well as I'm trying to grow my hair as long as it will go. She was very straight forward about how much she was going to cut to clean up the ends. Courtney also gave me her card with a $5 discount which I plan on using in the future. The only reason I didn't give Le Posh 5 stars is because my wife got her eyebrows waxed and did get a nasty burn, but I believe that was most likely just an unfortunate mistake. **Make sure to bring some extra cash for a tip if you plan on using a credit card or debit for the actual cut, it makes it a little easier for them to process. read more

Is a salon only for girls? Sure, if you enjoy messed up haircuts at the chain places. I've been going to Le Posh for awhile, and Courtney is my regular. I grew up going to the chain places and trying to explain to new hairdressers every time how I wanted it cut. 25% of the time they'd get it right, 50% of the time it would be acceptable but 'meh', and the other 25% I would wonder if they took a few shots before they came to work that day. You won't go wrong with anyone who works here, but I'd really suggest requesting Courtney. She's the best. read more

I hate hate my hair right at the moment she used the razor and I felt something was not right. I tried to show the the picture of the hair that I wanted again and told her not to cut really short, but as you see my uploaded picture, nothing look like the hair style that I wanted. The best haircut I've ever had. Loretta took care of me and gave me my dream hair. She cut a foot of hair off and gave me beautiful bangs and taught me how to maintain them. I am just retired and no longer want to travel to Boston for my hair (and no longer can or want to pay Boston prices). I am so thrilled to have found a place and a person (Courtney) better than any place I have been before. I can tell that this was not just a haircut that happened to turn out good. She totally knows what she is doing. She is friendly and pleasant but not all in your business. The place is very nice but not pretentious. Stylists are young but clients were all ages. I've never had my haircut but I've gone to Cathy. Owner of the manicure/Pedicure room. Kathy does a great job and is always busy. I'm very happy with her service other than she always runs late. I just moved to the area and I've only been a couple of times to get my nails done (though their main business seems to be as a hair salon). They have only one woman who does nails, so you always know who you're going to get. The first time I went, she asked me several times while she was doing my nails if I was happy with them and how I wanted them (length, shape, etc.). They have a good selection of polish colors too. I've been back a couple of times since. They're slightly more expensive than a mall salon, but very friendly and accommodating for appointments. I'll be back! read more

I recently moved to Haverhill and was looking for a new place to get my highlights touched up. I have never been more unhappy with my hair. The girl that was doing my hair was very unprofessional, didnt really chat with me and it was a very awkward experience. I went in to get blonde highlights but the girl used a toner after she highlighted my hair and I left with a darker color then when i went in! I expressed how unhappy I was and she just said that eventually the toner would wash out. I have never paid $80 for such bad service. I won't be going back. read more

Unfortunately, Courtney had stopped working for Le Posh, and the salon refused to tell me where to find my hair dresser! I recently posted a bad review of my experience with Erica at Le Posh salon. Every word of it was true, and months later I am still trying to get my hair back to normal at a different salon. I believe I am entitled to share my honest opinion on Yelp to spare another person a possibly similar bad experience. I did not use my last name in my previous review, but somehow Erica was able to track me down and call me at home just a few minutes ago. She accused me of slander, lack of decency, and deliberately trying to hurt her business. I couldn't get a word in as she proceeded to yell at me and imply what a terrible person I am while she went on and on about how professional she is. The call and her tone suggested just the opposite. Even though every word of my previous review was true, I am taking it down and posting this instead. The details of how my hair was messed up aren't nearly as important to me as the shock of having someone harass me by phone in my own home for posting my honest opinion. My hair will eventually be fine again, but I am very alarmed about the call. Maybe I'm the only person who has had a problem at Le Posh, but I did have one and am entitled to say so. Going back to have her fix my hair was out of the question. It wasn't about getting my money back either. The damage was done. So if you are thinking of writing a negative review of this place, come up with a screen name that is trickier to figure than mine is.
