Sign says, "Event Check-In" at a place where there are three doors. Door #1 employee: sorry, not here. Door #2 employee: Oops, this is an office, not here. Door #3 employee: Please go to the front where the tastings are. Walked over to that door, checked in (at the "tasting door" not the "check in" door). Then were told to walk across the pasture to another set of doors. Walked over, employees #5/6/7: "Can we help you?" ME: "Hi, we're here for class!" Employee #6: "Oh you're an hour early" Employee #7: "They had four classes but combined them into one." Employee #5: You can hang out for an hour if you'd like? NOPE. I would not like. I would like to have been informed :) Can we get a refund? Emp #5: "Sure, follow me." (stomp back across the pasture in heels). Walks into back, comes back out and says "You'll be refunded within 24 to 48 hours." ME: "Can I get a receipt please?" Emp #5: "No." Guess I'll just go home and organize a closet :(

They seriously make you feel like family, the hospitality is amazing. - The venue is GORGEOUS. So many good photo spots. It's so clean and elegant. The property is well-manicured. I got a ton of compliments on how gorgeous it was. - It is very fairly priced. - To add onto the value of this place: they have a closet FULL of decor to use that saved me 100s of dollars in decor. -Also, since you don't have to go through them for bar service/alcohol and you get to hire your own licensed bartending service and buy your own alc you save a TON of money. Venues who have their own bar services usually up charge you a bunch for alcohol costs. - They donate a portion of your total payment to nonprofits against human trafficking/abuse. - I texted Emily maybe 20x a week with random questions at all hours of the day and she responded SO fast every single time! -I emailed Brittney with changes to chairs and reception set up like 7 times the week before and she was so sweet and responded quickly every time. -They were so accommodating with the set up of chairs and tables. My mom is going through chemo so we had to give her a bubble of space everywhere she was during the day and they helped me space things out to achieve that. -They had a staff member there during the morning for questions while setting up and at the end of the night to put all borrowed decor back in the closet. In conclusion: they made this such a stress-free process, everything looked absolutely gorgeous, and I just cannot imagine our wedding being as amazing as it was without having it there. I know I mentioned the reasonable price but I would've paid double for how amazing my experience was!

We were not with our son or daughter-in-law when they chose this venue. I sure wish we had been. I am trying to be factual and not emotional in this review. Because no matter what, they are married and their family and friends made the day special for them. The venue is described as rustic and it is. I didn't see the Bride or Groom's dressing room but the reception hall is quaint and nice. The decorations that were provided and set up by the venue were pleasantly nice. They fit the theme of the wedding and the venue. The owner of the venue should not be in the wedding industry!!! She has, what seems to be a permanent scowl on her face; She is very condescending and orders you around. The bride and groom wanted their wedding to start at 4:30 pm, the owner instructed them to put on the invitations 4:00 pm so people would be on time. Well on time they were, many guest showed up at 3:30 pm with nothing to drink or eat until 5:00 pm! I would not recommend doing this! Our first interaction with her was a week before the wedding when she requested all drinks and supplies to be onsite. There was confusion on who was suppling the bartenders as my son and daughter in law were told the venue bartender could be provided but they came with the catering. They declined the catering so we scheduled to have our own bartenders. While resolving the bartender issue, she looked at me and said, "Once this is decided, the bride and groom will let you know." I asked, "Are you telling me to leave?" She said, "Yes." Mind you, I was standing off to the side only to listen. Before my son and daughter in law got there, she rudely asked me how much beet/wine we had. I told her 30 cases. She told me that I had to much beer/wine and that we only needed 7 cases. I told her that I could return unopened beer and I would rather have too much than run out. It doesn't matter if I had 100 cases, it wasn't her place to tell me. Even though we hired our own bartenders, she took it upon herself to refrigerate the beer and all 24 bottles of wine. I have 18 bottles of red/white wine in my refrigerator. (IYKYK) When they booked the venue, they were told they had access from 8:00 am - 11:30 pm; Then the bride was told she could come to the venue at 11:00 am to get ready. The bride showed up at 9:30 am and she and the wedding party barely had enough time to be ready before the rehearsal, pictures and ceremony. I can't imagine how late everything would be if she had showed up at 11:00am. Apparently, the rehearsal didn't go smoothly either. Again, with the owner not listening to the bride and groom and wanting to run her own show. The bride's oldest daughter was to play her flute while her mom walked down the aisle and then to stand up with the wedding party. The owner, kept telling the bride's daughter to sit down after playing and not stand up with the wedding party. Why does it matter where her daughter stands? Numerous times the owner told the bride that her father needed to walk her down the aisle even though she had been told numerous times that the bride's father was deceased! It's an emotional day - How can someone be so crass? During the wedding reception, the owner told the bride and groom that they needed to gather their belonging that were left in the bride and groom's dressing rooms. Upon her insistence the bride and groom left their guest to clean up. The owner not only told the bride and groom but went to the wedding party which include our granddaughters and instructed the same. She should have reached out only to the best man and/or maid of honor so that the bride and groom didn't have to leave their guest and could enjoy the reception. Then the trash cans came out and the owner and her staff began cleaning up which ultimately forced the wedding to end. It was only 8:30! The reception was still going strong! By them doing this the majority of the guest started leaving so when the bride and groom had their send-off it was only family and wedding party that were left. The owner also asked our son, the groom, to have the groomsmen pick up the chairs that were used for guest during the ceremony. First off, they had been drinking, they are in formal attire and it's dark; again, safety issues. Also, we paid to have the DJ until 10:00 pm; I didn't get a refund. Maybe we should send her a bill! In conclusion, please read ALL google reviews, as we did not. There seems to be a single thread to the negative items mentioned. We strongly suggest that you have your own typed/written contract and/or checklist that gets signed by both parties because it seems she only has her notes and things change. From the first time you meet her till the end she is extremely unpleasant to deal with. Parents of the Groom

I do not usually write bad reviews because everyone has bad days, but when you are in the service industry it comes with a certain expectation. It was supposed to open at 4, served hot beer, ran out of ice 30 minutes after bar was open. I have been coming here for years. I mean decades. If you, your partner, your family, your friends…read moreare looking for something cool to do that you don't get to do everyday. You should come to TRF. At the very least, this is the largest Renaissance festival in the US if not elsewhere as well. I highly suggest getting in early because the lines to get in throughout the day get longer. This place can get pretty packed, both at the gate and in the food and drink lines. They have a ginormous parking lot, it's dirt and grass. And it can bottleneck quite a bit at the entry point. Once you're in, they have hundreds of stalls of food, merchant selling different things, people putting on different types of shows, be it skill, craft, or comedy/drama. There's plenty of activities. The park itself is sectioned off into different themed areas, both the food and activities follow suit. They have tons of shows around the different areas in addition to the Central stage where you can see the king, jousting, sword fighting and the whole lot. Highly suggest going to the restroom before you leave, because you will likely be stuck in some traffic on the way out and you don't want to hold it. Trust me. In the last couple years I've taken to camping on their campgrounds. This requires an extra pass for camping, in addition to your entry. If you do things in groups it costs a lot less with a discount. They have porta potties throughout the campgrounds, and also a brick and mortar shower and restroom at the front of the campgrounds. The campgrounds are separated into two areas, the family the zone, which is closer to the main gate, and the non-family zone which is a mixed bag depending on what weekend you go closer to the festival area. This place gets pretty rowdy, and they are up late. If you intend to camp, this is the social area where a lot of things go. If you want a more relaxed, in civil area, stick to the family zone ( I don't). Highly recommend arriving early on the Friday before you're going in, as the camping area is first come first serve. We go in a pretty big group so we try to stake out enough space for all of our people. It's quite an experience, we really enjoy all of the people working there in character. They do a great job, and make it a great experience! Whether you're there with the family out for drinking or interested in shows and merchandise, there's something for everybody here. And the amount of different kinds of food is crazy.

As a group familiar with the SoCal Ren Faire (go every year), we were very pleasantly surprised…read more The acreage is expansive, the shops are built into structures making it feel more realistic (as well as provides AC), the amount of shows is insane, the options for food and drink are fantastic, and the shops are numerous. We spent Saturday and Sunday there and don't think we saw even half of everything. We paid the extra for the Kings Feast and agreed we'd do it again in a heartbeat. It was an all you can eat and drink lunch with multiple courses and a hilarious musical show that emphasized including the audience. We went to several shows, comedy, musical, jousting, and fire show and enjoyed all of them, ESPECIALLY the fire show. Get there EARLY though as it filled up fast, even a half hour before the show. Prices, for us, we're about the same or slightly cheaper than SoCal so we weren't shocked at any price tags. I can imagine prices would likely be a little bit of a shocker for locals though. The only thing we didn't see much of a selection for was more ornate leather work. A friend was looking for carved or stamped bracers and couldn't find any. There were bracers, just very simple. Once we noticed that, we saw that was the case for just about all leather work.

I could tell she was in the middle of something as I could hear the wind whipping behind her and people in the background. I had told her that if she needed to she could call me back, however she insisted that now was a good time. That meant the world to me especially after being treated so poorly from other companies. I was able to get a quote from her immediately over the phone and within the next few days have a contract signed and paid for. When I called to give her the payment me and Bree ended up chatting for an hour! She knows her stuff! Even though I wasn't using her as a wedding coordinator I would highly recommend her. During our conversation we talked about all the little last-minute things that brides tend to forget and chatted. She is so friendly and personable! The day went off without a hitch and her staff was incredible. I am very grateful for not only her kind words and help during this time but being able to get four people on a holiday last minute for me.
