Yeowch! At least I burned off my food while trying to balance? Anywho, this place is located right across from Barrio Queen. At 6PM in November, the Barrio Queen actually looks like true royalty with her bright neon sign lighting the way to hungry patrons looking for a bite to eat. There were 10+ trucks this particular Friday night, lots of people were in attendance to dine, and seating was a headache. We managed to snag a table right next to The Maine Lobster Lady's food truck at the last second. I wish I had known about this luck because I would have ordered the bisque! Oh well. Maybe next time. Anyways, Gilbert Food Truck Food Court has a rotating guests of food trucks weekly so make sure you check to see if your fave truck is in attendance on their respective social medias. The potato isn't dry or hard, but soft like you're cutting into a fresh warm pancake with your fork. When you look down at your place, your tater is bathing in a warm bed of melted butter. It's so perfect, so beautiful ... GET IN MAH BELLY. If you're not a cheese wiz fan, I recommend you don't get anything that has the melted cheese - just ask for the shredded. I've been known to eat an ungodly amount of potatoes in one sitting but I hit a brick wall 3/4 into this with all the toppings on it. I highly recommend the Brisket baked potato if you like a spices (not spicy) in your food. Great price point, totally recommend if you ever see them!

I stopped in to try this place as they just opened. I came around lunch time on a Saturday. I immediately noticed a horrific smell. The smell was exactly like a nail salon. No fry smell was anywhere to be found. That's a little alarming but I still wanted to try it. We ordered the original poutine to go (just 1) and the lady told us they are super backed up and it would take 20 minutes (I did appreciate her letting us know ahead of time). We opted to leave. I'm not going to wait 20 minutes for fries (which should be ether ready or fry up quickly) and gravy which should already be made. I'm willing to give this place one more try and will update after that but so far it's not looking so good for this place. read more

I got the Pulled Pork Poutine. Definitely got my 11 bucks worth. Nice big portions, could easily feed 2 people. The pulled pork has a really nice barbecue sweetness to it that is delicious with the Poutine. The fries themselves were very well fried, nice and firm with a delicous crackle. The perfect vehicle for the gravy. Cheese curds were warm and gooey, just what you would expect. Excellent comfort food! Can't wait to try the other options! read more

The Buffalo chicken fries are insane good although the Veggie is a close 2nd! We have been to the store a few times, as well as visited the truck in QC but depending on the night, can be somewhat busy. Would definitely recommend to give them a try. read more
