I requested an exterior and interior car detail, and Alex delivered an excellent job. I had the job done at his location, but he is also mobile as well. Prices were very reasonable, and there were different tiers of detailing options from basic to top tier options like paint correction & ceramic coating services. I was very happy with his job that I will definitely come back and use him again. read more

I saw Alex working in my neighborhood and picked up a rate card from him. A couple of weeks later I called him and the experience was 100% professional from start to finish. We mostly communicated by text but I did have a question for him and he was incredibly polite and professional. He is very mild-mannered and thoughtful and listened carefully to exactly what I wanted done. Consequently, he provided me only the services I needed at a fair price . He was incredibly precise in his work and I would recommend him without a second thought. He seems to be a very mindful guy. read more

I am so happy with the job Alex did detailing my car! My car does a ton of time commuting, has seen more cups of coffee and bags of kid snacks than I care to remember, and it showed. Thanks to Alex's very reasonably priced work, my old car looks basically new. I definitely won't wait so long to detail it next time, now that I know who to go with. read more

OMG AMAZING! Someone in my neighborhood FB group had recommended Alex & shared a link to his Instagram. I contacted him through IG and I am very, VERY glad I did. While my 4Runner has been washed & vacuumed before, and not just at a gas station car wash, it has never been detailed. There was basically 8-years of dogs, dirt, plants, road trips, and miscellaneous other crap of which all traces have been removed. It took Alex 6-hours to do the inside, but it looks brand new. He was meticulous!!! I wish I had taken before pictures so you could see the amazing difference. I only had him do a basic wash on the outside but I will have him come back next month to work his wonders on it too. I would 100% recommend him. He's very responsive, polite, communicative, and reasonably p read more

Regular car washes have had their prices increase substantially and they never do the greatest job and I usually leave regretting paying as much as I did for a job not that well done. Finding a hand wash only or touchless drive thru car wash is also very difficult as well. If you are like me, and have preferences on how your vehicle is cleaned, and the level of professionalism and detail that is given to it, than look no further than The Alchemist Mobile Detailing and owner, Alex! Found through local groups on Facebook, we are so glad we came across Alex and his skill of detailing and cleaning vehicles! The convenience of having Alex come to my house is wonderful as I work from home and do not have to worry about waiting long hours at a car wash such as the Pinole Arco. Alex has a fully equipped van with everything your car would need to get pampered - it really is awesome! When Alex arrived on time (I love punctuality!) I went out to greet him and discuss the specific concerns I had with my car and the areas I really wanted him to pay attention to, such as my leather interior and my floor mats. With how dirty my car was, Alex got both the exterior and interior done in 2 hours! I went out to see my car and was extremely impressed with the level of cleanliness and detailing that Alex put into my car. He took his time and really ensured that both the interior and exterior were clean and glistening. Additionally, I requested that Alex please install some vent scent clips and he did that which was really nice :) I will definitely be using The Alchemist again! The convenience of at-home cleaning/detailing, reasonable pricing (Alex accepts cash/check, Venmo, Cash App & Zelle), and friendly, professional service is something you cannot beat! Thanks Alex - you did a great job! read more

5 stars are not enough. Alejandro is a true professional at his craft. Stop taking your car to the car wash where it gets scratched. Let him pamper as it should be. It's crazy the magic that he does on cars, he's a true alchemist. He takes his time and makes sure that he doesn't leave until the customer is satisfied with his work. Book him now, I highly recommend it. Check out the photos, they speak for themselves! read more

I don't think that my car has been this clean since the day I bought it. Super happy with the results! Also, maybe the best thing, is just how much Alex cares and enjoys his work. Seeing someone give that much and care about the results that much was truly refreshing in today's world where people just work to get a job done instead of putting pride in the work itself. Alex puts a ton of pride in his work, and it definitely shows through the results! Got a wash, wax, and interior clean. This will be a regular occurrence instead of taking it down to the local car wash and getting some wild card of a job. Thank you Alchemist! read more

I became familiar w Alex through my cousin and ever since then I've used him on both of my cars. Each time he has come early and been very punctual with our appointments. He is very thorough and detailed with his work. I appreciate his work and extra attention to detail. The second time especially he came through and applied a cleaning agent that removed all the metal debris/flakes that had accumulated on my car to protect the car's paint job! I also appreciate that he's mobile and comes to my home to do the work! Each time he's done an excellent job! His work speaks for itself and my neighbors were so impressed w his work that they too have called him. So next time your car needs a good detail give The Alchemist a call and you won't be disappointed! read more

My mom's car was way overdue for some deep interior cleaning. Alex managed to set up a time with me within a week to clean my mom's Chevy Equinox. Alex is overall respectful and got back to me in very timely manner. Not only that but since the Alchemist is a traveling car wash/ car detailing service, this made it very convenient for me. I'd say they charge a reasonable price as well for their services. And just for the interior detailing, Alex made sure that my mom's car interior was thoroughly cleaned. Alex's detailing services wasn't the only thing on point. It was also his constant communication and overall great customer service that was top tier as well.
