I've been here a few times and it's always consistent. Lattes are amazing. Biscuit enthusiast here... they got my stamp of approval. Solid breakfast selection.

I got a biscuit with bacon and the biscuit was so dry. It was like a rock by the time. I got it when it was only four minutes away. The service was good but the fair I care less about. The overall vibe was good, but I don't the food was.

Other than the suspect latte art, the Alabama Biscuit Company delivered. Fluffy, crispy biscuits, the egg could've been cooked a bit more, but the sausage had just the right amount of spice. I think it was Kaneka sausage (sp)? The sorghum latte had that raw sugar test and tasted really good to me. Definitely a spot to return for the Croque Madame. Would recommend!

Fantastic!!! I got the Croque Madame which was so delicious and the Maple Butter Latte....the perfect cup of coffee for the taste buds and a happy heart!! Definately recommend and will go out of my way to eat here the next time I'm in the area!

If you're in search of a typical, bleached all purpose flour salty biscuit, keep it moving, because this place is not for you. There are a ton of places in town to find that, but you won't find it here. If you're someone who enjoys interesting, ancient and sprouted grain pastry, keep reading. These biscuits are so unique and special, they are crispy on the edges, and soft and fluffy in the middle, they have a fantastic texture and flavor. The menu is very creative and uses these handcrafted biscuits in so many different applications. The customer service is fantastic - we let the cashier know it was our first time and she gave me a run down on the menu, seasonal items, and her favorites. She was so pleasant and went out of her way to give us a great experience. My husband and I are coffee snobs (we are self aware, lol) and they use local non fiction high quality coffee which was fantastic. We had the blueberry spice latte and maple butter latte - both were really delicious. We appreciated that the drinks were made to the correct temperatures. We had difficulty choosing which food items because several sounded so good. We ended up with the croque madame and the seasonal strawberry biscake. Both were so delicious, top to bottom. The fresh dill and lemon aioli gave the perfect compliment to the ham and egg biscuit. The strawberries with vanilla mascarpone cream, and kumquat jelly was dreamy. 10/10 for the food and drinks. Truly special, not just good or okay. I'm not going to lie - I hesitated in the past about coming here thinking the menu looked like small items for a high price. We came hungry and were surprised to both be full and not finish our meals - luckily they had to go boxes handy to take our leftovers home. I now really, really regret not coming sooner! Lastly, the dining area is so thoughtfully put together to maximize a small space. The owner clearly cares about using local materials and quality finishes. We will be back, and very soon! In the meantime I'll be dreaming about those biscuits and lattes.

Blueberry iced coffee was delish! Biscuits were meh. Expected a lot more out of the bacon egg and cheese. Ambiance isn't great. Quick service. 2 biscuits 2 coffees and a side of fruit (just peaches) was 40$. Got a bag of granola and brought the total to 60$ (delicious granola tho). Probably wouldn't come back

Small little spot with nice aesthetic and the food is so good - comfort food and great coffee/lattes with an oat milk option for dairy free. We were new in town from New England and needed a late breakfast on a weekday and found this place through Yelp. Delish and nice spot for coffee talk and a bite. Staff brought our drink and food to the table when it was ready. Nice music selection playing softly in the background.

Service is kind and friendly but the biscuit was beyond dry. So much more than expected. I ordered the blueberry and almond butter but it was too dry even with a water and coffee.

This place has a unique way of making biscuits! It's not your typical white flour biscuit or made with a lot of butter or buttermilk. I believe it's probably a whole grain biscuit which was really good and HUGE! It's a small kind of rustic looking interior almost like a coffee shop that's also sells really good breakfast food. Which brings a good point that their coffee is sooo delicious!! Has a bold but sweet taste too it which was really great. This place definitely is definitely a more organic self conscious place I would say. If you have certain food sensitivities this would be your place. A lot of organic locally sourced ingredients. The service was really quick and prompt. It was mine and my wife's first time trying it out and the guy was really helpful. I got the sausage biscuit with a egg over easy which was a tad bit over cooked but not a huge deal breaker. It was a decent portion size for sure and keep you filled up till the next meal and actually feel good about what your eating and know it's from locally sourced places. To add my order came with a side of grape jelly which you can definitely tell was homemade it was a nice addition to the meal.

A cool place with an original take on southern biscuits. There can be a wait, so plan to chill.

It ended up being perfect--sweet but not overly sweet, and really flavorful. I also signed up for their rewards program and got $5 off my first order, which was a nice bonus. I originally wanted to sit outside since the weather was so nice, but ended up sitting inside. Next time I'll try to get there earlier to grab an outdoor spot. Parking is pretty tight--the front lot is small--but I was lucky to find a spot, and I noticed some people parked on the surrounding streets. Overall, it was a really good experience and I'm excited to go back!

Nevertheless, we sat at one of the high tables and enjoyed our coffees. I noticed that they had one of the machines that dispense little art prints (Inciardi ?) but signs said they were out of stock. Too bad because they're very popular in New England and I had a great time searching for these machines and seeing what prints I'd get. I've started a collection. I'll come again for coffee, and hopefully will get pastries, and art prints.

There wasn't line when we got there but the crowd usually follows us for some reason so by the time we left there was standing room only and a line out the door. This was the spot we would all come to to do homework. It's still got that same warmth and charm. I came in on a Wednesday morning to sit and do some work. I ordered a cappuccino, bran muffin, and a breakup cookie to take home. The cappuccino is just as expected. Served at the perfect temp, great flavor. The bran muffin, which was my attempt to be healthy, was really a delicious stand-out. I would definitely get that again. And, of course, the breakup cookies are some of the best cookies in town. They bake all of the baked goods in-house, I believe, which gets a round of applause from me. A lot of the recipes are still the same ones I remember from 7 years ago. One thing I noticed that's even BETTER than I remember was the books and gift selection. A lot of the books caught my eye. It's a great curation of fiction, non, memoirs, birding books, children's, etc. They also carry the Village Apothecary candles, which are made locally and have some packaging I really love. Church Street is one of the Birmingham staples. I hope they're open for a million more years. They do what they do exceptionally well.
