Our DJ, Andrew and his trainee, Caleb were amazing! They had gotten to the venue for setup just before we did. Andrew was highly detail oriented and was able to get on page with us quickly if there was a lull or questions. His talent was further exemplified when he took on a 'wedding coordinator' role and made sure to either keep us on time or communicate with us about the timeline and if we wanted changes. He and Caleb really helped make our day special. From Caleb signaling to everyone that it was their turn to go down the aisle, to both of them checking in and asking if we needed anything. The communication was proactive and consistent. I truly believe they helped change the course of our day for the better with their generous service and their pure kindness. Communication in the lead-up to the event was inconsistent, with key logistical details needing to be repeated or clarified multiple times. Despite providing a detailed timeline and music preferences well in advance, there were noticeable gaps in preparation and follow-through. Of particular concern was the DJ's dismissive and unprofessional tone in communications with the bride, which caused significant distress and nearly led us to replace him before the event. We reached out to address these concerns in advance, but never received a direct response. On the day of the event, the DJ team arrived over an hour late without notifying the planning team, which caused unnecessary stress and impacted the schedule. Only one lapel mic was brought despite prior communication about the need for two. The AV assistant onsite also shared that he had not been fully briefed on the equipment or the event timeline. Throughout the evening, there was continued confusion regarding the order of formalities and other details that had already been addressed. In addition, we were informed shortly before the event that an extra team member would be present, but it was not made clear that this person was a content creator rather than part of the AV support team. The content creator was disruptive for the couple's hired photographer and videographer, consistently getting in the way. This individual also took a wildly unprofessional and vulgar photo at the photobooth. Photo included in this review. We reached out following the wedding to address these concerns but again, unfortunately received no response. As a wedding planner with over a decade of experience, I believe in giving honest, constructive feedback to help others make informed vendor choices. I hope this review is received in that spirit.

The day before the event, my husband received an email stating Ben would not be attending but will be sending in his filler. So, no big deal we still have entertainment. Rob was a nice guy (the filler) he tried his best In getting the reception up and moving and dancing none of the songs we actually wanted played wasn't at all. just our first dance, mother son dance, garter toss and bouquet toss. The ceremony could have been better. I didn't get to walk to the song that was picked. By the time it came on, I was already at the alter. So wasted. And needless to say my aong for the groom wasnt played. As the night slowed, it hit about 7pm and my husband mentioned packing up and sending the DJ home. He went to find me who was trying to change out of my dress, we agreed to break down, when my husband returned to the reception hall, Ben showed up started breaking all the equipment down and asked for his payment. OUR CONTRACT PAID for 10 hours. We only received 6 hours. And was kicked out of our own venue on our wedding day the the fuck is that shit. Plus it's a busy day for a bride and groom things happen and the groom forgot payment at our house, Ben said per our contract he couldn't wait for payment, when we approached the minister and photographer they were fine with meeting up after our honeymoon for the payments. My mother in law called Ben to ask if he would take a credit card payment, she had to leave a message because he didn't answer. HE DIDN'T RESPOND BACK TO HER. I then took money out of our honey moon fund to pay for the dj. We then owned only 50.00 Ben proceeded to say we will meet up at a later time, well this didn't work for us because we were leaving and wouldn't be back when he wanted to meet up. I'm thinking to myself, it's 50 fucking dollars. Ben said he would call my husband on tuesday when we got back from our honeymoon to exchange the rest of the money. Very unprofessionaly, my husband recieived a text asking if we were in town yet and when we could meet. Many people find sending text for information like that is unprofessionaL and it was VERY. You say youll call, do it your a business owner, you should understand the curtousy of a call oh andI have always heard DON'T DRINk AT YOUR OWN GIG. Rob was trashed by the end of the night.
