Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

There was a mix-up with e-mails at one point regarding where we would meet for a meeting. It wasn't a big deal, but he had confirmed the time and meeting place over e-mail, but forgot he had done so. We both ended up in two different places, my fiance and I in the place we had agreed upon in e-mail and Greg at another location. Thankfully we could still meet with him that day, but we had to drive to him. The day before the wedding, I called Greg to see if we could book the video, so he and his son are definitely very flexible. Though, somehow he already had it in his notes that we wanted a video, which we had never confirmed. He also asked questions about the ceremony and reception, though we had already had the conversation at a previous meeting and in e-mails. There were just enough small hiccups that made me wonder if he was fully prepared. In the end, Greg did a great job with the ceremony and reception. Other than at the very start of the ceremony, the mics worked very well and everyone could hear what was being said. As the bridal party was lining up to be announced into the reception, there was some confusion for Greg regarding the line-up, even though we outlined who would be walking together. I am not sure why this happened, but my husband was able to help sort things out. The reception ran very smoothly and he played the songs we wanted for the most part. I specifically told him not to play slow songs, but he started the dancing with two slow songs. This was quickly fixed once I told him to not play anymore. We also asked him to play music in the order of generations (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). This didn't really happen, but he played songs we liked, so it was fine in the end. I just worried the older folks didn't feel a part of the dancing as much, though many still joined in. We ordered the video option. It is awesome to know we have a video of our day and we can always watch it again and again. It turned out a little differently than we anticipated in terms of length (it's over an hour), so we may shorten it ourselves in some way if possible. The use of the drone was a great addition. I would say if you want someone to document your day, this is a great option and is very affordable compared to most videographers. But it isn't going to be creatively cut and there are times when the video is a little shaky. Overall, Greg and his son did a pretty good job. There was some hiccups along the way, but really nothing major. Both Greg and his son were pleasant and friendly. Greg is also very reasonably priced.

He is awesome and absolutely nailed the vibe of our wedding…read more We gave him a pretty chaotic range of music requests going into the wedding -- everything from Mac Dre to Shania Twain to Spice Girls to K-pop -- and somehow he blended all of it together perfectly during the dance party. It never felt random or forced, and people were dancing the entire night. One thing we especially appreciated was that we are very much not "Top 40 people," and Kyle totally understood that. He helped start the evening with music we actually listen to and enjoy (classic rock, bluegrass vibes, etc.) before transitioning naturally into more dance-heavy music later in the night. He also absolutely nailed the transition from the first dances into opening up the dance floor. We requested "The Payback" by James Brown -- our 3.5-year-old's favorite song -- and it immediately got people laughing, dancing, and set the tone for the rest of the night. He was also great at reading the room and rolling with unexpected moments. I am generally not a karaoke person whatsoever, but he let my 6-year-old cousin do an impromptu singalong to a K-pop Demon Hunters song she had apparently been practicing all weekend. It honestly ended up being one of those funny, memorable moments everyone loved. Overall, Kyle was easy to work with, flexible, fun, and did an amazing job creating a wedding that actually felt like us instead of a copy-and-paste playlist.

He had a headset microphone for the officiant and a hand-held mic for the bride and groom that the officiant held for them during their personal vows. The speakers were loud and the mic was clear. Logan was already setup by the time I made my way to him and as we reviewed the timeline, he was well prepared. The ceremony ran so smoothly. Reception - THE LIGHTING! I don't even have words for it. We added on Logan's lighting package and it was worth it. The room was lit beautifully for dinner and switched over to multi-colored for the dancing portion *chef's kiss*. He made sure to get everyone's name correct prior to the grand entrance and he followed the timeline seamlessly. There was truly never a time that the dance floor was empty. We worked with Cruz Entertainment for a recent wedding in Truckee and unfortunately encountered…read moreseveral challenges both during the planning process and on the day of the event. Communication in the lead-up to the event was inconsistent, with key logistical details needing to be repeated or clarified multiple times. Despite providing a detailed timeline and music preferences well in advance, there were noticeable gaps in preparation and follow-through. Of particular concern was the DJ's dismissive and unprofessional tone in communications with the bride, which caused significant distress and nearly led us to replace him before the event. We reached out to address these concerns in advance, but never received a direct response. On the day of the event, the DJ team arrived over an hour late without notifying the planning team, which caused unnecessary stress and impacted the schedule. Only one lapel mic was brought despite prior communication about the need for two. The AV assistant onsite also shared that he had not been fully briefed on the equipment or the event timeline. Throughout the evening, there was continued confusion regarding the order of formalities and other details that had already been addressed. In addition, we were informed shortly before the event that an extra team member would be present, but it was not made clear that this person was a content creator rather than part of the AV support team. The content creator was disruptive for the couple's hired photographer and videographer, consistently getting in the way. This individual also took a wildly unprofessional and vulgar photo at the photobooth. Photo included in this review. We reached out following the wedding to address these concerns but again, unfortunately received no response. As a wedding planner with over a decade of experience, I believe in giving honest, constructive feedback to help others make informed vendor choices. I hope this review is received in that spirit.
