I can't thank Erik and Franco enough for helping make our wedding absolutely amazing!…read more After having a bad experience with our first DJ, I was feeling stressed and discouraged. From the moment we spoke with Erik, he was so kind, compassionate, and reassuring. I am happy i decided to switch to Epik weddings. Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and they completely exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was incredible, and everyone is still talking about how amazing it was. There were so many special moments, but the music truly stood out. I was so happy to hear our guests say they loved the music and how much time they got to spend on the dance floor. One thing that was really important to me was keeping all of the activities and formalities moving quickly so everyone could dance the night away--and that's exactly what happened! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the music and how packed the dance floor was all night. The music was so good that, at the end of the night, we even had a few wedding crashers stop by and tell us they heard the music and had to come see what was going on! That made me so happy and was such a fun memory. I wish I could relive our wedding day over and over again, and I would recommend Erik and Franco to anyone looking for an amazing DJ team. Thank you both so much for making our wedding unforgettable!

I truly cannot thank Derek enough for making our wedding so incredibly special and fun. I can…read morehonestly say that our wedding was the best party I have ever attended, and so much of that was because of Derek. From the very beginning, Derek was so easy to work with. He always answered my calls promptly, answered every question I had, and made me feel completely confident that our music was in good hands. I was able to give him a list of songs I wanted, songs I absolutely did not want, and the overall vibe I was going for. He took everything I gave him and filled in the gaps perfectly. He completely understood my taste and somehow knew exactly what to play. One of my biggest fears going into our wedding was that no one would dance. I wanted everyone to have fun, get on the dance floor, and really enjoy themselves. Derek absolutely delivered. People were dancing the entire night! The energy was incredible, and so many of our guests have told us how much fun they had. Something else that really stood out to me was that Derek was so much more than our DJ that day. He was helping every single vendor however he could. He was helping the caterers pass out food, bussing tables, helping the bartenders, and even jumping in to help our coordinator. He was constantly moving around making sure everything was taken care of, and he never hesitated to step in wherever he was needed. He was truly going above and beyond in every possible way. Some of our guests were actually asking if Derek was the owner of the venue because of how involved he was throughout the entire day! That's the kind of person he is. He genuinely cared about our wedding being perfect, not just about doing his job as the DJ. And then Derek did something that meant more to me than he probably realizes. He audio recorded our ceremony, even though I never asked him to. Having that recording now is incredibly special to me. It's something I didn't even know I needed until he gave it to us, and I will treasure it forever. Derek is not only an incredibly talented DJ, but he is also such a genuine, thoughtful, and kind person. He truly cared about making our wedding special, and it showed in every part of the day. If you are getting married in Tahoe, hire Derek. Seriously. I hope every couple getting married in Tahoe gets the opportunity to work with him because he made our wedding unforgettable. I could not recommend him enough!

That was our first encounter with McClain's Mobile DJ. We had enjoyed that evening so much, we requested a quote. Price wise, I feel like McClain's is very reasonable. The owner, Tracy, is lightning fast with responding! This made our time feel valued and her level of engagement really stood out to us. Then came the wedding day! Our DJ, Andrew and his trainee, Caleb were amazing! They had gotten to the venue for setup just before we did. Andrew was highly detail oriented and was able to get on page with us quickly if there was a lull or questions. His talent was further exemplified when he took on a 'wedding coordinator' role and made sure to either keep us on time or communicate with us about the timeline and if we wanted changes. He and Caleb really helped make our day special. From Caleb signaling to everyone that it was their turn to go down the aisle, to both of them checking in and asking if we needed anything. The communication was proactive and consistent. I truly believe they helped change the course of our day for the better with their generous service and their pure kindness. We have been so impressed with McClain's and I know our guests had the BEST TIME, in part because of this team. Should I need a DJ again, I wouldn't shop, but I would come right back to McClain's!

How amazing is that!! I 100% support our local business in the Reno area, and if the venue hasn't been changed I would have loved to have them DJ the wedding. I would like to pass the word on that Amplified Entertainment and the owner, Ken, are truly amazing!! Thank you again.

Dave was hands down the best DJ/person we have ever worked with! From the moment my husband and I…read morebegan our search for a DJ for our wedding, we knew exactly what we wanted and exactly what we didn't want. The first time we had a phone call with Dave, it lasted about two hours, showing just how much he cares about his clients and really getting to know them on a personal level so he can make the day of your dreams come true. Throughout the eight month process of planning the wedding, he made time for us to have multiple meetings over the phone as we were located a few hours away from him. With each conversation we had, each call was more in depth every time and his questions were geared towards the vision that we had exactly in mind. We even met up with him a couple of days before the event just to get to know him and thank the person who we had been talking to for all this time and found what an awesome friend he is as well! When it came down to the big day, a storm struck as typical Nevada weather usually permits in the summer. As a result, Dave's initial set up outside had to be moved inside, and within the next hour we decided that we would still go on with having the ceremony outside. With heavy winds and beginning drizzle, he still managed to perfectly execute the ceremony as planned without any hiccups with music or mics. Side note, naturally I chose to have some tricky ending music to close out our ceremony that would lead up to our final kiss. I had planned this with Dave for quite some time giving him specific minutes and seconds to play the song by, something not every dj would be willing to do or do it as perfect as he did. Needless to say, he crushed it and made my vision come about beautifully as we had planned! As soon as the ceremony finished, the storm picked back up, and Dave had to move his stuff inside once more. There were no complaints or frustrations from him, and he remained cool as a cucumber the entire time, which was insane to me given how many times he had moved and needed to be working on the fly. When Weather permitted for us to go outside, despite the fact that he had already moved twice, he had no issues moving again to where the original dancing was supposed to happen. Knowing how frustrating this could be for some vendors, especially with all of the equipment he needed to move, Dave was remarkable and his professionalism and kindness meant everything especially given the fact that the day had already been a whirlwind for my husband and I. The music was all what we had talked about and we trusted Dave with every single song and decision that he had made for our playlist. He really took into account all of the hours of conversations we had had, and this was beautifully displayed in all of the song choices that came about. During the middle of the wedding, he even came to check on us and make sure the music he was playing was working for us, and if the requests that were being made by guests at the wedding were okay and if not, he he would make sure to let guests know there was a set playlist. I have never been more happy with a vendor, or a person who treated us so amazing on a day that was pretty chaotic, but also the most wonderful day of our lives. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY Recommend Dave for any of your events. He is a blast to work with, and is so attentive to each couples needs and desires, and truly aims to give you the best event that you're hoping for. Dave, we love you and there aren't enough words we could say to share our gratitude for all of the hard work you put in to our event. We will cherish your partnership and friendship, forever!

We planned their big day in South Lake Tahoe all the way from Los Angeles and Logan was a breathe of fresh air. Having worked with many DJ's in the past, I know how imperative they are to helping the event run smoothly. Logan had perfect communication leading up to the day and made my *extensive* timeline (sorry logan, lol) happen without hesitation or error. Ceremony - AWESOME equipment. He had a headset microphone for the officiant and a hand-held mic for the bride and groom that the officiant held for them during their personal vows. The speakers were loud and the mic was clear. Logan was already setup by the time I made my way to him and as we reviewed the timeline, he was well prepared. The ceremony ran so smoothly. Reception - THE LIGHTING! I don't even have words for it. We added on Logan's lighting package and it was worth it. The room was lit beautifully for dinner and switched over to multi-colored for the dancing portion *chef's kiss*. He made sure to get everyone's name correct prior to the grand entrance and he followed the timeline seamlessly. There was truly never a time that the dance floor was empty. Logan is confident, fun, energetic, and super easy to work with. I was so grateful to have him as a part of our team. I got to enjoy my brother's wedding without having to "work" thanks to him!
