Dropped in for a cocktail after having dinner at Stock Farm. What a beautiful place. Looks super high end but bartender was friendly and helpful and the bar area was warm and inviting. Cocktail was nice and trying to figure out how to have a team building meeting here. Definitely coming back for a cocktail in the future.

What a fun and well laid out hotel in the heart of Hopland, CA. When visiting this area or to plan a trip to wine country consider this awesome landmark.

We stopped here for some coffee on the way to Clearlake. 10/10 atmosphere and 11/10 coffee! Staff was helpful and the coffee made the rest of our drive fun and tasty. I got a brown sugar shaken espresso (better than Starbucks) Will go back.

This hotel was so incredible! The hotel has been very tastefully remodeled with modern decor and a super chill vibe. The amenities were top notch with great food and beverages, beautiful grounds, lovely fire pits and an amazing pool. The staff were all super friendly and did so much to make this a pleasant and relaxing visit. It was our first time traveling since Covid-19 and the hotel made me feel as safe as possible. The social distancing, mask-wearing and disinfecting policy is very thorough. Can't wait to be back and I believe it will only get better when we get past this virus situation!

We luckily stayed at this hotel last weekend and had such a memorable time. The hotel itself feels historic (built in the 1800's?), the rooms are spacious along with the bathrooms, it feels uncluttered and well done all around. Separately, the staff is impeccably lovely and we had well-made craft cocktails out in the private back patio. Overall an enthusiastic recommend and we Weill be returning

And, on a perfect spring evening on the deck with the sky fading to black over the distant hills and the temperature slowly cooling, it was magical. Started with olives, almonds and a carafe of local rose, which was delicious. This was followed by some outstanding bread with herb butter and caperberries, and local, Mendocino cured king salmon, which was a celiac special! It was delicious and herbaceous with avocado, caperberries and dill. This was followed by the salad greens with asparagus and bresaola. The bresaola was a great compliment to the greens and the asparagus was particularly unique - fresh, crisp, fresh and while not quite asparagus-y they were so good, a bit sweet. They were from Zuckerman Farms in the Sacramento valley. Next was a bowl of noodles and asparagus, ramps, very fresh fava beans (not firm or mushy!) and parsley, or the same over polenta instead of Italian pasta noodles for the gluten-free. It was simple, but fresh and rich and luxurious. Three for three at this point. The end point was duck confit with oranges and kumquats over wild rice with some greens. The duck was perfectly cooked, although a tad too salty. Nonetheless, we cleaned the plates. And, who would have paired rosemary with oranges (?) but it worked. The meal was finished with vanilla ice cream over meringue, topped with lemon curd, and fresh strawberries and rhubarb, both of which were not only fresh but redolent of the flavors that they appear to have otherwise lost. The wine list is small but we greatly enjoyed both the pinot rose from Scribe and the pinot noir from Drew. I remain very frustrated by all of their fees and add on costs. Yet, I don't feel cheated or that it was all unreasonable in the end.

This was a second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first. In a world of…read morehyper-commercialism and advertising, keeping things simple is really hard to do, and the Boonville Hotel & Restaurant flawlessly pulls it off. Every detail, from the freshly cut flowers inside the room to the garden and living room in the main house, is purposeful and elegant. I also should mention the food, which is excellent! The culture of the Anderson Valley gracefully comes through with every bite. In fact, the food alone is worth the trip. I have been to many Michelin-rated restaurants. While the meal might not be accompanied by the chef's life story, everything about the food, the dining atmosphere, and the local ingredients is every bit Michelin quality. A few other tidbits: Kid friendly, plenty of space to play in the backyard, but no games, no pool. The sister restaurant, Offspring at the Farrer Building, across the street has the same food, but also pizza and a few other kid friendly options. Two onsite EV charging stations. They both work great; the front desk needs to remotely turn them on. Looking forward to my next stay!

I stayed in the house (can't recall the name now). Most of the group stayed at the camps. The bed was reasonably comfortable. They do have a beautiful kitchen. We catered our food. We only used the kitchen to boil water for tea. It was the bee season and our food was feeding the bees nicely. It was a moment to appreciate the co-existence in the nature. There was a hot tub on site. I didn't have time to enjoy it but I had some happy friends at night. There was an outdoor shower area and it looked quite nice. The bathrooms here are rustic yet modern? If that makes sense. The campus here is incredibly beautiful. The trees treated us nicely. There were many good memories left here and we were lucky to secure the facility for our retreat. I felt comforted and supported, inspired and emboldened as a leader. Every detail was taken care of and every creature comfort was there! My guests were incredibly happy with the spaces and we had plenty of room for all of us. It's amazing how the land supported such deep work, as if the wisdom of all groups prior to ours had somehow primed and opened up the space for us to take our personal and collective journeys of transformation. You can feel all of the love and care of the owners and all of the stewards of the land who came before. It was magical, sacred, safe, transformative, deep, joyful, peaceful and more. I am still receiving insights for myself and for my group.

Our cozy cottage was clean with a great view of the garden and ocean. The bed is very comfortable and the provided space heater helped kept us warm at night. Only con I have to say is the pillows were very flat so we had to sleep with both pillows on top of each other for more support. I love that it had a full kitchen so you can cook delicious meals with fresh ingredients such as the daily delivered eggs straight from the chickens and greens you pick from the garden. If you want a break from cooking or want a meal prepped for when you arrive, you can add in the option of a dinner or picnic basket to your reservation as well. For the activities such as chicken chat and goat gab we weren't able to attend; it was raining pretty heavily during our stay so we opted to stay indoors and enjoy the cozy cabin. For the moments where the rain would stop, it was nice to explore the land, making stops by the bunnies and chickens with our dogs. Definitely planing on coming back! Would love to experience Mar Visita during the spring or summer!

The day before we placed our breakfast order and it was delivered to our door in the morning. The ginger scone was my favorite but the biscuits were also huge and fluffy. Loved the matcha latte. The flowers and plants on the property were gorgeous. If you walk to the top of the property, there is a gazebo and sitting area. Perfect for a place to read. You can see the ocean and hear the Sea Lions. One night we signed up for an hour long session in the hot tub. It was very private, clean, and super relaxing. If you go after dark, the stars are incredible. The pathways were well lit for your walk back. Before visiting, I was a little unsure of what the electric vehicle charging would look like. There are two sections of parking, depending on which room you are staying in. They are well marked based on which room you stay in and don't require a long walk. I recommend to have directions saved and to look up ideas on where you want to go before you leave. There will be little to no signal once you leave the property. Had a fantastic dinner at Izakaya Gama (be sure to make reservations ahead of time) and went to The Record afterwards for a drink. There was a live band and so much positive energy. Damien and Diane were so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back, try a different room, do a wine tasting with Diane and explore more of this gorgeous area.
