Although the people are super sweet, my hair experience wasn't the greatest. I'm a blonde and walked in a bright blonde. My goal was to go a little brighter and touch up my roots. I went in a week prior for a consultation and showed her my vision picture and my extension piece. The girl that ended up doing my hair was Taylor. Super sweet girl although not a blonde soeacialist whatsoever. As I arrive to my appointment at 3:30pm she begins foiling and starting the process. As we near an end it starts looking really dark, so I call up my mom to take a look. She begins trying to color my extensions and by the time my mom arrived nothing changed. She then tries to retone my hair as it's now 8:30 on a Monday and we've been at it for hours. I have shoulder length hair and never have had to wait that long. We blow dry again and still no change. We then set a fix up appointment two days later. I show up and everyone is determined to help her out. She didn't know when bleach and toner mixes to use and how long. The appointment starts to come to an end and she cuts and thins my hair trying to take off my ends because they were still dark and I'm not so proud to say I walked out of that salon darker than when I came in with roots untouched, hair short and thinned, fried, and my hair ultimately orange. How humiliating. A $400 appointment with a total of 8 hours just working on my short hair. I've never had such a bad hair appointment and after months of making my hair healthy I am now having to restart. I think if you are a blonde looking to get your hair done Taylor at Thairapy salon is not your girl. read more

Moving across the country is stressful enough. Trying to find a new salon to go to wasn't something I looked forward to. After several searches, reading reviews and asking around I decided to give Thairapy a try. When making my appointment the receptionist asked me to describe what I wanted and the condition of my hair so she could match me with the right stylist. I was able to get an appointment with Nick the following week. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I had made the right choice. Nick took the time to go over everything from color selections, highlights and style with great detail so I knew exactly what to expect and was comfortable with everything. When he was finished my hair was Fabulous!!! The color, highlights and cut were exactly what I wanted. I immediately made my next appointment. My appointment was 3 weeks ago. I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review to see how my hair would do after the first week. The color is still as vibrant as when I walked out of the salon and the cut still looks great. Decided on a whim to finally take care of my rats nest and being new to the area I had no idea where to go. After reading the positive reviews on Yelp I called Thairapy and was able to get an appt with Lexy right away. When I walked in it did take the front desk woman more than a few minutes to acknowledge that I was there but she was on the phone and otherwise engaged. Once she ended the call she did greet me. Lexy was so nice and pleasant to talk with. She understood what I wanted done with my hair and executed it perfectly. The head massage alone during the wash was worth the $50. I am definitely going to be a return customer for Lexy. The salon itself was obviously undergoing renovations and I can't wait to see what the new layout will be as it was a tad cramped where all of the hair stations are set up. I was excited to try this salon from all of the amazing reviews. I went in for a layered bob haircut with Christina and had high hopes. My haircut looked okay when I left, however, when I washed it and styled it on my own, I saw how uneven the haircut was. My hair in the back had pieces longer than others. One part of my hair was missing a whole piece and had a gap. The right side of my hair was very choppy and does not blend together at all. The left side also has pieces that are longer and than the base line. I had showed her a picture of people with the haircut so she could get an idea but she kept asking to see the picture like she was confused and didn't know what to do. I am very disappointed with this haircut especially since it is so short and I just have to deal with it and let it grow out. read more

Went to see a new salon and wanted who ever I could get for my mom, the moment I was greeted w a pleasant receptionist ,the vibe was so calming . I was greated by a stylist that was very well rounded and very detailed of what picture I thought was only a single color, , explained the process and upfront with the get cost and timing she be there.
