Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. I figured, if I'm going to spend $3-400 somewhere... I'd rather not spend it there thank you Looking at there reviews.. maybe they just don't serve latinas. Idk. ‍

I'm used to my stylist calling me first just to make sure I feel comfortable with another person styling my hair. The front desk was courteous and professional. Tamara, my stylist was very professional and took good care of me. Took about 6 inches off my hair per my request. My first reaction was too much hair product because my hair felt sticky and I didn't like the way my hair was styled. I normally put a beach wave using a flat iron and light hairspray. I came home brushed out the product and restyled. Overall, the cut isn't bad and the service was professional.

I absolutely hands-down, highly recommend going to Sublime Salon and Spa! Ruth, who works the front desk to greet and welcome people in, is wonderful with her warm and friendly personality. She guided me to who would help me the best with what I needed. I had my hair done by the youngest hairstylist in the salon named "Bella." Bella listened to me, in detail of what I wanted and what I was looking for. I have thinning hair so Bella knew exactly how to condition it, brush it and blow dry it. Bella knew the exact vision of color I was looking for. Bella brought my hair to life with a brilliant salt and pepper grey color. I was so happy with the results. When she turned my chair around, and I looked at myself in the mirror ....I was about to cry, but I didn't want her to see me shedding tears. So I gave her a big hug and paid her for her amazing service and when I got in my car, I cried with joy and happiness that someone finally listened. Kristy was so friendly & we chatted the whole time, I love that I wasn't just sitting there in an awkward silence which has happened at other places before. I felt like we were old friends. She REALLY knows what she's doing! My color is great & I love my cut, it looks so healthy! To top it off, her salon interior is AWESOME & totally retro!
