    I had called prior to going there requesting them to shave my hair off! First off all the other salons I went to refused to do it, even though I was the one wanting the cut! When I first walked in and told the person at the desk what I was there for again there response was WHY?? After their initial shock they told me to have a seat and Anthony would be right with me. They do offer water and tea for those who are waiting. Anthony was so excited to do my hair! His personality was great. He seemed really down to earth and honest on how he thought the look would be with my face shape. In the end it was a great experience and I absolutely love my shaved head!

    I am new to the area, I Needed to find a good salon and hairdresser, I had seen all the great reviews about Sweet Salon so I thought I would give it a try. I love the salon it's very adorable! My stylist Paige was amazing! She new exactly what I wanted and did a great job, she has a great personality and is very stylish and adorable, they are very affordable also! Great place would totally recommend it and I will be a continued customer!

    Cassandra is amazing!!!! She's is the only person I will ever go to! I have been a loyal customer for the past 15 years! Every cut, color and style she has done has looked great. My hair always feels fresh after! I refer her to everyone! I even have my family going to Cassandra.

    Went for the first time a couple days ago, and had my hair cut by Amy. She was new to the salon; however, she has over 20 years of previous experience. And it showed! She was very friendly, and gave me some great advice for my hair--which is very curly. I have had my share of bad haircuts as a curly-haired individual, but I am very pleased with the one I got from Amy. She listened carefully to my request and then fit it to my specific hair. In my book, that's quite the talent! Plus, I found out that Amy grew up in the same hometown as me in central Kansas, lived in the same state (about an hour away) where I went to college--Joplin, MO, and goes to the same church I do--Christ's Church of the Valley (Phoenix, AZ)! It's amazing the connections you'll find in the Body of Christ! A beautiful sister indeed! Lastly (but not most important), the reason I give it 5 stars is for the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere and professionalism. The price for a haircut is a little high for me ($35), but it was worth the haircut and experience. Will be returning for sure! -Thank you, Jesus, for such a wonderful place, as finding a good hair salon can be overwhelming. :)

    BEWARE!!! Do not go to this salon.. They are absolutely horrible. They lack experience, ethics, and customer service. I went in for an ombre and the the hair stylist left me with spotty hair that didn't even run through to the ends of my hair. When I called to get my money back it took several messages of going back and forth arguing. For them to finally only agree to half... I told them I was not satisfied with only half and that due to their carelessness I would have to go to another salon and now have to pay double to fix the damage. Several weeks later I get a call from the manager (Michael) who was extremely rude, and was putting the blame on me for not wanting them to fix my hair. He said I was threatening his business by telling "people" which was the other salon about my experience. DO I NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT? Especially when I am going somewhere else to get it fixed... He only called me because he was worried about his reputation as he repeated that and argued that over and over again. Not once did he apologize for putting me through this or let me know how he would handle the situation. Instead the only thing he was willing to do was send me a "contract" to not talk bad or post a bad review on the salon and would then give me my money back. He has yet to send me anything and it has been a month.. mind you I have sent him several emails to not get a response back. His excuse is he is undergoing surgery and even if that is the truth.. its no excuse to let your place of business handle these type of situations in this manner, if anything I have been threatened to sign a contract that was never sent to me... Due to his limited availability I have cc'd his staff on every email asking for updates when am I going to get my money back.. He (MICHAEL) was supposedly going to resolve this for me. But instead this just continues to go ignored. I have pictures to post as proof of what this salon did to my hair and it is horrid. When I went to the other salon they could not believe how lazy this person was on how she did my hair... Get this! When I was in the salon that fixed my hair.. someone called and asked on prices because "SWEET SALON" messed up their hair too! And I asked do you guys get a lot of calls and the answer was unfortunately YES!

    David did a terrible job on my hair. I went to him after reading couple reviews on here. I didn't had any color on my hair, when I went there thinking it will be a blank canvas for him. It's not even close to the color I requested and very uneven. I could have bought a $5 color from CVS and handed to my 8 years old he would done a better job. Way over priced. I have done highlights before many times and my hair has always lifted very nicely and not much damage at all. The reason they don't lift your hair to the color you want for the first is because they want to go again and pay them an arm and leg again to get the color. Or maybe not, probably will tell you to come one more time. I have colored my hair with a store bought color and the color came out very nice without putting any extra bleach on my hair. I'm very disappointed with the color I got. I was thinking he would have at least style my hair after word, but to my disappointment he just blow dry it without giving it any volume. I didnt mentione it eaither because i didnt care anymore, was pretty upset about my hair. I'm a kind of person that usually don't burst in anger, so I just paid and calmly walked out. I'm sure these good reviews are from before when those 2 other ladies used to work. Most of the good reviews I read here was about those 2 ladies, that doesn't work there anymore. I can't believe that I paid this much for what I got. There are other salons that charges a lot less and does better job. I'm a very busy person with kids, school, and home choirs, I don't get much time for myself but I spent about 3 1/3 hours there plus emptied my pocket without getting good results. As I explained how busy I'm I don't find much time to write reviews, unless I really need to like writing this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Updated: OMG I must be dreaming!!! I called the owner Michael to tell him that I'm losing lots of hair because David put a low volume bleach and left it on my hair for over an hour. Now I'm losing my hair in bunches, he started cursing me for leaving bad review and telling me I ruined his reputation. I told him David ruined my hair he said he doesn't care about my hair and I take my business elsewhere. I have never had a store owner talking to customers like this. I paid lots of money to make my hair look ugly and damage. I will post a pic later.

    I stumbled upon Angela at Sweet Salon after I had a terrible experience getting my hair colored for my wedding day at another salon. Just like a "hair angel" she showed up just in time to fit me in for a hair coloring before my big day in November. And I'm pleased to say that the color stays fabulous on my wedding day and long after! Thanks Angela!!

    I had an appt. this morning (Monday) but had an emergency so I called Sunday and left a voicemail…read moreexplaining the situation and that I would not be in but will call to reschedule. Monday I get a phone call maybe 10 minutes into my appointment time and I asked "Did you check your voicemail?" Then I was informed with an attitude that they do not work on Sundays. I am sorry that the universe allows emergencies to occur between Sundays and Mondays. Life happens! Then after I hang up they had the audacity to send me an invoice for $50 that WILL not be paid. Even prior to my 1st appointment I had to "pre-pay" which I have never done, not even at high end salons. I can understand if I was a "repeat offender" but just like attorneys, dentists and doctors there are salons everywhere. What a way to keep your client base!!! I do not even do this if a patient does not show up for an appointment at my office. Again, consider the situation?? They didn't ask about the situation it was all about the money. If a repeat offender of course I get it but things happen in life that take more important precedence than a haircut appointment. So if you are new and want to have to pre-pay for your service before even walking thru the door or EVER have an emergency 24 hours prior to your appointment DO NOT GO HERE-find a better salon!!!!!!!!!!
