Pad Thai
Kate H.

I went here on vacation. The rest of my family went to Chipotle, but I read the reviews here and decided to wait. I'm so glad I did because the reviews did not lie. The outside is scary, but the inside is so pretty. I ordered out, and the wait was at most ten minutes. The staff were super friendly and nice. I waited 15 minutes to get back to our hotel and the food was still hot. Not warm, hot. The fresh rolls were so good and flavorful, and I liked that they had multiple sauces to go with it. I got the Chicken Pad Thai, and the chicken was actually bite size and plentiful. The sauce was amazing and so flavorful, easily one of the best Pad Thais I've had. I definitely recommend going here.

Pad Thai chicken was DEEEELISH! Chicken in every bite. Did I eat it standing up on the bed of a truck? Yes Does that make me a bit of a weirdy? Possibly Would I "dine here" again? You bet

Thai drunken noodles with beef

Yummy drunken noodles w beef. Ordered for carry out and after 20 min drive the food was still piping hot. Food was delicious and well done. Will definitely be back! They are authentic I can guarantee. How do I know? I am Thai and I was able to speak Thai to them to ask for the special Thai chili fish sauce to accompany my noodles and they knew exactly what I was asking for. What a gem in West Virginia!

This is a hole in the wall restaurant! Staff super nice. I got the chicken pad thai and it was amazing. Huge portions too , definitely paying for what you get.

Absolutely authentic dishes from Thai cuisine- the staff is always pleasant & polite. Ingredients are fresh and dishes well prepared. The Thai Basil dishes are absolutely spot on, with three levels of heat/spice. I always order right between Mild & Medium and it never disappoints. The wonton soup is one of the best I h have had from any place serving Asian food. I highly recommend the Thai Valley Kitchen and encourage anyone and everyone to give it a try.

Having visited Thailand a couple of times, this is the best I have had in this area. It's a regular visit for our family.

Reasonably priced, good environment, and the service is nice as well. I always stick to the basic pad Thai, and it's always good.

I had the green curry with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The lady taking the orders was super sweet. The seating area is small, but cute and perfect for a little date night or lunch out. 10/10 recommend!

Chow Thai is located in Charleston, WV it's a small location but well worth the stop…read more Once entering you are kinda in a lobby where someone will take your order and then seat you in a smaller room next to it. There isn't a lot of tables I think 6 one larger one in the center. If you don't get there before a rush you will have to wait for your food in front of the door and register best hold 4 people max. My biggest fault is the lack of space as they have great options and some Asian food to buy at the entrance too but once people are there you can't really see you buy. Decor wasn't something grand it was really walls, windows, table, food. That's all you really need, but I just wish there was more space. 2 out of 5 Service: The lady that took our orders and brought us our food was so kind answered any questions we had and offered great ideas for our kids. There was free water and food was brought to us. 5 out of 5 Food: This is where things get a little out of hand please note I cannot spell so best of luck! I got the Pad Thi with little spicy - it has quite a bit of nuts on it adding a beautiful crunch, bright bean sprouts, and just the right mix of spice. 5 out of 5 Tum um Soup I think - had nice flavor and is what was expected as all tum um soups. 4 out of 5 Ramen with sauce - kids enjoyed and ate what they could best way to explain dried ramen with flavor packed added after cooking. 3 out of 5 Pad won seen - (I am very sure I spelled that wrong or got it mixed up) I personally wish I got this over the pad thi; nice sauce sweet but salty. Fresh broccoli and shrimp. 5 out of 5 I didn't ask if they had a bathroom and I didn't see signs so I don't think it was an option to rate. Over all 3.7 out of 5! Going to round up to 4!

It was nice having Asian cuisine in the heart of southern West Virginia. We looked around yelp to see what's appealing for lunch. My friend gave some suggestions and we ultimately ended up here at Wasabi Fusion. We arrived here around 12:30pm after hanging out at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine earlier that day. The restaurant was particular dim lighted and only the daylight from the outside illuminated the inside. There were a few tables occupied while we waited for a table. We ended up getting one almost immediately. Our time spent here was about an hour or so. We got ice water first before deciding on what to eat for lunch. The menu was pretty simple and extensive at the same time. I ended up getting the fried rice because it was simple yet delicious at the same time. Plus, ultimately, they gave enough to satisfy my hunger and appetite. We spent about an hour here from start to finish, enjoying some downtime between being on the road and the evening ahead of us. The staff here was friendly and fast. They gave us ice water first before allowing us to decide what we wanted for lunch. It was a typical thing. The fried rice I had was good and delicious. I also had a side of French fries, which ended up being crispy and awesome. Better than McDonald's and other leading fast food chains. I enjoyed dining in here especially due to the ambiance and atmosphere here. Very quiet and pleasant to just be in here. Definitely worth coming here if you're in the area and want something else than your typical all American fast food fare. Consider coming to this Asian fusion restaurant to explore more options for your favorites in south West Virginia. Who knows? This might be the hidden gem you're looking for! The overall experience here at Wasabi Fusion in Beckley, West Virginia was very nice and welcoming. It was interesting to see Asian restaurants in West Virginia when it's uncommon. I enjoyed the service especially when it's friendly and fast. While that is usually typical anywhere, West Virginia friendly is always welcomed here. The prices here at Wasabi Fusion is competitive and around the same prices as you'd see anywhere. $13 for a Chinese entree and $6 for a sushi roll. Almost the same price strategy for anywhere in a big metro city or a small town. And of course, 4 to 5 dollars for side order of french fries. It is cool that an Asian restaurant is in West Virginia. I felt at home because obviously I grew up Asian and felt akin to the cuisine that they serve here. The restaurant itself is clean and definitely want to visit if you're in the area and not wanting any more of the stereotypical fast food American cuisine. This place serves up wholesome food that can be healthy. I like the service here which is awesome. For the most part though, the experience was typical yet comforting at the same times. It was nice to have some Asian comfort food in southern West Virginia when you don't see it often enough regularly or represented in the region. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and very satisfactory. And so, if you're looking for something better, consider coming down here to Beckley and find this delicious oasis. Might be the hidden gem of southern West Virginia you'd find. Wasabi Fusion Asian fusion restaurant is located in Beckley, West Virginia. It's one of the few places in the state that has good Asian cuisine that I've been to so far. They're physically located at 114 New River Drive in Beckley. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's a good chance you'll find good parking spots here. Best bet would be to come here early enough to secure your preferred parking. If you like me, invite a friend over for lunch if you have friends to live in the area, I don't mind to join you for lunch. There is very limited of a transportation options for anybody and everybody who needs that. But to be sure, best bet will be to have a car or rent one if possible. And then, of course, there is Uber or Lyft or your personal convenience, but ride sharing services do cost a lot of money, especially in rural areas where maybe a handful of drivers are there when you want something on demand at a particular time. And so, if you're in the area and want something different than your typical road trip fare, considered the wasabi fusion Asian fusion restaurant in Beckley, West Virginia. It's definitely a place where it is uncommon to find an Asian fusion restaurant in south West Virginia, but it's always a nice place to have lunch or dinner wherever your travels may take you. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B+
