My partner and I were driving through Paducah and checked out this restaurant. We had a great time! We went at a weird time, so there was no one else in the restaurant, but the staff got us water and our orders quickly! Originally, I actually wanted to order the drunken noodles, but he recommended that we get the Thai pho with steak which was delicious!! I'm so glad that we decided to go with his recommendation. The food was good and the portions were very large. We came to visit from out of town and we were craving Asian food. We both love Thai. We looked at the heat chart and medium said "if you normally eat wings with buffalo sauce pick medium". I'm from Tennessee so I'm used to Tennessee hot chicken and put Creole seasoning and even sometimes habanero sauce in my cooking but my food came out so spicy I was sweating on my second bite. At first they were not going to let me get new food (I understand if you order "Thai spicy" with the warning on it you shouldn't get your money back, but medium was the first step above mild and 2 under Thai Spicy. Finally the waitress got permission to get it remade. I app6 that a great deal. I've done both carry out and dine-in at Thai @ US. This is a delicious hidden gem behind the Huck's gas station in Lone Oak, KY. I literally work right across the highway and didn't know this place was here for months. After MANY recommendations, I decided to pick up some Thai Basil rice with shrimp and Crab Rangoons for supper one night. Wow, was I in for a treat. I think I ate on the rice for 3 meals. It was a HUGE portion. I also ordered the Thai tea and it was beyond good. I definitely recommend all 3 of those choices. Then just yesterday, my mom and brother wanted to try Thai @ US too! We dined in and were pleased to find how warmly we were welcomed and taken care of and how CLEAN the restaurant is. We started off with the highly recommended lettuce wraps. We did have to ask for more lettuce, but they brought it out with a smile and no extra charge. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. Mom had the pineapple fried rice. And my brother opted to try the soy sauce noodles! Everything was SO good. We all ordered lunch portions and we all had to take some home with us. I can't say enough good things about my experience here. Word to the wise: if you ask for heat, they do NOT play around. Make sure you're asking for the correct level for you pallet. Ordered online takeout of the medium spicy Chicken Red Curry and medium spicy Beef and Chicken Pad Thai. I like the fact that you can choose your spiciness level thru online ordering. Both really great entrees overall and both were piping hot after a 14 minute drive back. Red Curry is definitely my favorite and perfect amount of heat with a touch of sweetness. I was staying with my Mom at a nearby hospital and placed a to go order for the lettuce wraps and Tom Kha soup and they prepared it quickly. It was fresh, hot and really delicious. I'm from Chicago aka the food Mecca, we have every type of cultural food there so when I moved here I was surprised that they had a Thai restaurant here, I've been here a couple of times but the last time I was here, you guys were about to close, and the lovely guy in front gave me a an extra fried rice and an xtra Thai coffee... and when I say that was THE BEST FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER HAD! I'm serious! It was so delicious I had to share it with my mother. We both agreed on how delicious it was! And the Thai coffee was just as good!
