We've eaten here several times, and the food is always excellent. All ingredients are very fresh and of good quality. We recently dined here and tasted spring rolls (huge!), Sweet and sour shrimp, and green bean curry with chicken. Thai tip allows varying spice levels, and I chose NM hot (vs Thai hot). I love spicy, but NM hot was perfect for me. It is a smaller restaurant, and it is popular, so if you are short on time, reservations are encouraged. The only reason for four stars vs five was that the service was not great. read more

We went here for dinner recently. The waiter was attentive and gave us time to review the menu as it was our first time here. We ordered the shrimp rolls (they were very healthy size and fresh) and papaya salad. The salad was good but sadly was on the smaller size for the price that we paid for it. We then ordered two noodles dishes. The flavor was on point. The price was okay but I would be willing to pay $1 more or so to get a little bigger portion. The place decorated with pictures of the food and stuff from Thailand, it was quite which we very much enjoyed. We gave it a 4 stars due to we still left a tad hungry but the same time, we would still come back to try other items. read more

Not sure if it was a bad day or what my husband and I ordered 2 Pad Thai's for pick up, $24.00 for both. My husband got chicken and I got tofu. Got home and opened the box up and it came with peanuts, red Chile, and fresh limes to put on it. The noodles were all clumpy as I put some into a bowl and thought where is the sauce... I put the lime juice on it and put the peanuts on it. Skipped the spices wasn't sure about them. Took a bite and it was the most bland thing I have ever tasted.. worst Pad Thai I have ever had.... if I had not put the lime juice on there would not have been any flavor... was not impressed at all... I didn't even finish it. I ate out the tofu and threw the rest away... Thank goodness for Oat milk and pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies to wash away the bad taste... will not be back... will try other Pad Thai from other restaurants... glad others who reviewd enjoy their Pad Thai.. My husband at leftovers and he's not a leftovers kinda guy, so you know it's bad when he is willing to eat the leftovers... read more

It took me too long to discover this gem. The meal I had there was excellent..and it's in my hood. I had the red curry with seafood. They had the most seafood I've ever seen put in a curry..and I eat a lot of curry. It was loaded with large mussels and shrimp, along with tender calamari. I was very happy with the portions and the price. I also tried the potstickers and egg rolls, both of which were delicious. read more

Our recent experience at Thai Tip was not good. We were very disappointed in the flavor of all items ordered (actually, the white rice was fine). Maybe there was a change in kitchen staff, or something? Check the order if you like the accompanying sauces, they forgot ours. We decided it was $60 not well spent. We won't return. read more

Best Thai food in town, hands down. The only real drawback is that it's a very small place with a small staff and sometimes the wait for food to come out can be quite lengthy. Though if you expect that going in, the food is delicious when it comes out. Literally everything we've tried has been great. Keep in mind, they REALLY know how to do spicy. They have a New Mexico spicy and a Thai spicy. The Thai spice is crazy hot. Ha. If you typically like spicy but are unsure here, go with a medium spice your first time. Great food! Ordered the drunken noodles (pad kee mao) and they were super flavorful & spicy. I got the New Mexico hot - medium spicy level on it and it was very spicy which I loved. Also ordered fried rice which was also absolutely delicious. The portions are big, I would definitely recommend doing family style because they fill a large to-go box with each item. I was able to have 3 meals off each one. Will definitely be ordering from here again My only recommendation would be to add peanuts to the drunken noodles, luckily I had some so added them & it was great!!! read more

After seven days on the road of Mexican Food every evening, which we love, it was time for a change. We chose Thai Tip. Both Chicken Curry Rice and the Steak Salad with Thai dressing were excellent. See pictures. Thai Tip is a small place with limited seating, so you may wish to carefully time your visit. Suitable for groups up to 4-6. You choose the degree of hotness. I like hot and spicy, and medium hotness was perfect. Servers were all young yet attentive. Small Gripe: No beers on tap. Only bottled beer. No larger bottle sizes, common in most Thai restaurants. What to say...... what happened to this place??.... So sad to say that I loved this place the first time I went and thought it would be my new favorite Thai place in town with delicious dishes that came out hot. Tonight I made a reservation ahead of time and talked with a friendly worker via telephone. When I arrived at my reservation time, the waitress said they had no note of my reservation..... when we were finally seated, we noticed everyone around us were waiting on their food. This should have been our warning to abandon ship. We waited for our food for over 50 minutes, and a person in our group did not receive their food until everyone in our party was completely finished. And we ordered an appetizer, but the waitress never brought it out. I'm just so disappointed. I brought my family from out-of-town and was honestly REALLY EMBARRASSED that they experienced this dining experience and that I ever took my family here. What an absolute disaster. Absolutely everyone in the establishment waited so so so long for their food and a poor couple we noticed were forgot about all together. What a horrible meal experience and I just really wish I could go back in time and spend my money elsewhere. What a waste. I will certainly never go back. read more

The BEST Pad Thai I have had here in NM. No joke or lack of flavor on this dish. I was very pleased with my order. I even heated it up the next day for leftovers and it was still delicious. The chili flakes are HOT! Maybe it's just me, which is true, I'm a wuss with chili by NM standards. If your speculative, order mild and they will put the chili flakes on the side. My husband ordered the beef curry and he enjoyed it. He loved the spice and the gigantic amount of rice it came with. Overall, the end of the meal with our sticky rice and mango was totally worth it. My picky teenager loved it. It was her first time having the dessert and she said she loved it. That was a score! This place will be a go to and can't wait till quarantine is over so we can actually eat there. read more

I've gotten takeout from Thai Tip twice during the quarantine (Wyoming and Constitution). When you arrive to pick up your order, the hostess meets you outside their door to take your payment and then you can choose to continue to wait outside for your order or wait in your car. I love their appetizers, chicken satay, Pad See Ew, and curry dishes, but really, anything you choose from their menu does not disappoint. Most recently, I got the chicken potstickers (looove their sauce!) and tofu Pad Thai. Their Pad Thai is most likely my favorite in town because it doesn't have any hint of fishiness. Generous amount of tofu, too. The noodles were stuck together that night, which didn't bother me too much, but I felt like they lacked a little moisture. They made for excellent heated-up leftovers the next morning, though. read more

Don't let the size or location stop you from dinning here. Very small and very busy but very worth it. The waiter gave me a recommendation, it was a dish that nobody on YELP had yelped about. The Thai Chow Mein was fantastic. The crunchy noodles give it a great texture to go along with really good Thai flavor. I would like to go back with a several friends so I could dine family style. read more

Came in with a group of 5 around 7pm on a Wednesday evening. Was seat quickly and received drinks in a timely manner. Order pot stickers as an app and they were pretty delicious! Came with soy dipping sauce and were not overly salty. Order the pineapple curry as an entree that came with shrimp and a side of jasmine rice. The dish was pretty tasty and the sticky rice melts perfectly when in contact with the soup. Towards the end of the dish js was a little buttery but not overly. I ordered the yellow curry with medium spice. Whoever did the spice had a heavy hand as my dish was so overly spicy that it was inedible. I tried to push through and mix it with white rice but it was hotter than the hell. I ended up throwing it away. Other than that, the food has usually been good here. read more

Another strip mall gem. I've never been to a town that has more of them. I've been here twice and both visits were really good. I've tried to kind of curries. The pineapple either shrimp is really good but when they say New Mexico hot, they mean it. The mussaman curry is on point. I really liked that, their egg rolls 5 stars and their pork potstickers. Been here 50 minutes and still waiting for our food. They said they cook from scratch and it takes awhile. Sigh.... Food arrived finally. It was pretty good. They gave us a a discount due to the wait. Very nice. They also said you can call in your order ahead of time. We came on Sunday around 2 PM, it was very busy however the servers gave really nice service. I thought the food were a little expensive than other Thai restaurants in town but when we got our food, portions are big. Both of us had half of our food left over. We're new to the neighborhood but we've driven by enough times to be intrigued. The place is really small and we got an awkward corner table because it was the only thing open but based on the crowds we figured it was worth it. Our service was good but the Pad Thai was mind blowing. I said mild spice so they put it on the side and they were not kidding-- suuuuuppeeer spicy. We will definitely be back but I don't know if I'll be able to explore the menu with other dishes because the pad thai is so bomb. read more

Only throwing a 2 on this in hopes the owners are watching. We LOVE this place, however, Mamma in the back needs some help. Don't come if you don't have time. Again, food is amazing! Staff is fantastic. But seriously, Pad Thai is like a 6 minute dish. Prepare to hang out for 45m minutes on a normal day. The dishes here get put together One At A Time, and you'll get it when she's darn good and ready (but again, you'll love it!) Not looking for fast food, but we gotta speed things up. Get someone else in that kitchen to help out please!! read more

Just wow. Anytime my husband asks where do you want to go eat that isn't mainstream I jump at Thai Tip. It's so small and makes me feel like we have a hidden gem that I want all to myself. The appetizers are great, there is a sampler that I kid you not will fill two people up or you can be like us and prepare for leftovers. I love all their Curry's they are delicious. Heat wise I am currently up to NM HOT but one day I want to swing for the fence and try Thai hot. I have yet to try anything on the menu I didn't like. With so many favorites it's hard to decide what's on the menu for the night. My husband is a fan of the fried rices. He always leaves full and leftovers at the ready. No complaints what so ever. Come in and feel at home. You won't be disappointed read more

We have about 55 special Thai dishes made with the freshest ingredients you can buy. Each dish is prepared fresh. There is no bulk cooking in advance. We shop daily and purchase the finest ingredients to make sure our food is fresh with great flavor. Our dishes are made to order. Established in 2004.

We began raising money for our oldest son's trips abroad. We sold fried rice and egg rolls to pay for his trips. When he got older and it was time to stop, the customers said "just make it and we will come to your house to get it." My wife Tip, at that point said "I could do a restaurant." I (John) said no. She won. The rest is history.

Tip has a gift of taste. I can take her to any type of restaurant and tell her I like something, and she will go home and make it better. She is responsible for how all the food taste. She has 30 + years in the medical field and will often suggest certain foods for customers. She also has made special dishes for customers with certain ailments.

Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

The money bags was fine, the sauce was too watery I think that came with it which made the flavor run off of it quickly. Huge star bonus for their to go containers not being cancer causing styrofoam. For this alone I stopped ordering from other Thai places in town. Many states have banned styrofoam, it's very very bad, I'm so glad they don't use it.
